Dispute review
Although I’m still waiting for the customer service team to reply to a dispute, I have I found the customer service team very efficient.
I am visually impaired and dyslexic and would like to thank them for all of there assistance

TransUnion has failed to uphold its obligations under the UK GDPR.
Despite being served a formal Article 18 notice regarding a £4,949 “Delinquent” entry which is at a confirmed Deadlock with the lender, TransUnion declined to restrict processing while accuracy is verified.
Instead of applying the statutory restriction required by law, TransUnion proposed a voluntary “Notice of Correction,” which does not restrict processing or prevent ongoing credit harm. I documented a reduction in my credit score during the period in which no restriction was applied.
As both TransUnion and the lender (EDF) have explicitly declined to apply the statutory procedure required when data accuracy is contested, this matter has now been escalated to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Consumers should be aware that statutory data protection rights may not be actioned without regulatory intervention.

They are unprofessional and not precise on dealing with costumers. I applied to get my credit report and they didn’t give me the correct information on what documents they required and they weren’t answering questions. Due to this they make the process take much longer as it should be.

This afternoon I had the need to contact TransUnion by telephone. To begin with I was extremely anchors, I got connected through to a very pleasant lady by the name of Lauren. I explained to Lauren that I was not able to understand how to obtain my credit report. Lauren assisted with with this, she helped me through the process enabling me to view my report. Lauren calmed me and she reassured me that all was well according to my report and that if I wanted any further assistance I could always call back and ask. I finished my enquiry with help from Lauren feeling one hundred percent happy. So, one BIG thank you to Lauren and if ever I need to call TransUnion in the future I hope to receive a similar kind of response.

I tried to switch energy supplier to get much cheaper rates, I was accepted but then they used these TU muppets as a credit agency and I was refused despite Experian score of 1132 (excellent). I am a millionaire who has paid every single bill on time for 61 years. It seems the problem may be because I dont have a credit card - I dont need one as I use a debit card for everything. As such they they have supplied misleading information I will be taking action against them

Transunion claims to report the credit score to my bank. However, they have marked me down because I do not have a credit card. But I do! They have a pathetic excuse: not all credit card providers allow them to access the information. So TransUnion's credit score information is flawed and should not be used by major banks.

What is the point of this company? Had a fraudulent entry on credit report. Went through the process of reporting it to Transunion to finally be told informed (by a computer generated message not a person) that they will do nothing and I have to raise the dispute with the company directly. Utterly pointless!
Experian however raise the dispute on your behalf and get back to you within 3 days.

Broken all my GDPR rights. Now I'm taking them to court so they stopped me getting an online report out of spite.
I terrible company.

Initial AI email type response covered none of my complaints. This was then only then followed up supposedly by an advisor with an even worse cant be bothered not answering anything type of answer. They should really be struck-off in my opinion. They let everyone in the Country down, purporting to do a job that they clearly don't actually do. Totally amazed at how awful they are...

Transunion has put accounts belonging to a person with a different name on my credit report, at an address I have never lived at. They are completely dismissing when trying to correct it

No help whatsoever! Spoke on the phone and couldn't advise the reason I was failing credit checks despite having an excellent credit rating. Sent me an email link to try and help me find the reason, but the website is equally just as useless

I cannot believe that I receive canned responses after fully documenting a SW issue by email and posting screenshots about it, nobody at Halifax is taking ownership, Transunion don’t seem to care about it either, demonstrating a resistance to acknowledge much less that they will fix it. I truly dislike the way they get you to report this all again procedure , quoting a thanks first for receiving my email. You never get a person able to make a proper reply.
I would advise everyone to save their time and let them sink in their own soup.
