Jiro was such a wonderful guide. Highly personable and knowledgeable—we will miss him! He gave us a truly lovely experience.

Jiro was our guide of our small group of 4–1 Canadian and 3 Americans. What I liked about booking with Tourist Japan is its emphasis on small tours with knowledgeable guides. Jiro took us to a great sushi spot for lunch that was not only delicious but also rather affordable…local tips and insider knowledge are always the best. I’m doing another tour with him tomorrow!

Shush, our tour guide with Tourist Japan, took us around Tsukiji market and made our day special catering to our preferences and providing excellent tips and information. He was extremely knowledgeable and kind and we would totally recommend him to anyone.

Shish was our guide and he was amazing. We are from Australia and Shish made our Tokyo day trip an awesome experience. He was very knowledgeable and patient as our guide - we had a small group and he made everyone feel well-included and engaged. A wonderful day!

Jiro took the time to teach us Japanese culture as we walked through the shrine. We learned so much about Tokyo and took in important sites. He is an amazing guide.

We did street food tasting with Aki. He was very knowledgeable and patient to answer all of our questions. He introduced us to many good food and snacks. We had a great time. High recommended the tour!

My sister and I had the pleasure of having Aki as our personal tour guide (with 4 other people). We were very fortunate to have had such a lovely experience walking around Tokyo city through the imperial palace gardens, ginza shopping district, harujuku district, shinbuya crossing and more. What a delightful and insightful perspective from a local. Some highlights made my day even more special- celebrating my birthday with a special treat at Haru sushi restaurant. Highly recommend.

Jiro was amazing, he had a great sense of humour and showed us a lot of great stalls, temples, shrines etc. The food tastings were awesome and very different to what we are used too.

Aki was a fantastic guide and made our day really enjoyable. We were a small group of 6 people and we learned so much about Tokyo and some of the top places to visit in the City. We also learned how to buy tickets and navigate the subway which was really helpful. Lunch at Kura was great fun and inexpensive and we had plenty of time to take in each of the sights we visited. A great mix of parks, temples and shopping areas and a great way to spend our first day in Tokyo. We now have the confidence to explore more on our own. Thank you Aki.

Jiro took us all around Tokyo sharing local knowledge, it's impossible to see all of Tokyo in one day but we covered a lot of ground. We endee it with the Shibuya scramble which was awesome

We had a wonderful experience with Jiro this morning in Tsukiji fish market as we walked and talked.
It was a super cultural experience that we would highly recommend to any visitor to Japan.
Our guide was understanding and helpful in explaining everything.
We hope to see Jori again before we leave. As we say in our Gaelic language

Jiro was a fantastic guide! It was a lot of fun for us exploring the fish Market and the shrine and temple.
It was nice having Aki as well, as he is a wonderful person.
We would love to have either of them again!

This was a full day of Tokyo highlights, places that are iconic. Our guide Jiro managed to guide our small group thru Temples, Shrines, Cool spots, great view points, Imperial gardens( no benches😂)packed subways, conveyor belt sushi 😀 and ending by dashing across Shibuya crossing . This is a long day. Jiro did an awesome job, This tour could easily be split into two days. Can not commend our guide Jiro enough for his patience with some of the group, who lagged behind due to different issues. Everyone was very understanding and a good time was had by all. This tour was worth it.

Great walkthrough the history and culture of Japan

Jiro was a great guide. Ended up just being me on the tour so felt very VIP full of interesting facts of area and location with history was fun to learn on enjoyable morning with good tasty stops along the way.
