Great experience with Tobio customer support, we had some damage in transit which considering the packaging it must have been run over by a truck... A message to support and this was rectified super fast by the team.

The Watercolors Evaporated & Materials are Cheaply Made, But Refund Was Offered

Tobio's offered to give me a full refund no questions asked. I accepted. Their customer service representative was wonderful to work with, and it was a very positive experience. I've upgrade my rating to 2 stars.
This would be a great product for children or teens. For the serious or experienced artist, higher grade products will definitely deliver a more satisfactory experience.
Original review:
Filled the palette with the included watercolors. Decided to let them dry slightly before closing the palette like I've done other brands of professional and student grade watercolors before. I left the palette open approximately three hours. The paint evaporated out of the paint wells of the palette. The paint wells are not lined with any material. Other competitively priced but higher quality similar palettes are lined with white enamel in both the paint wells and the mixing area. I've never had that happen to any watercolors before. I've been an artist for over 40 years. Very disappointed. Sketchbooks are also cheaply made and paper is not very good. For the price charged for the items, they should be higher quality. Also, their tutorials for their Beginner's Workbook require paint colors that are not included in their kit, so you cannot get the desired results pictured in their tutorials. I wish I had never purchased this item from this company. 1 star.
