They don't seem to care about customer service. At every stage they are bothered about trying to get more money out of the customer rather than provide good service and a good product. The system disconnects a lot so you need to attempt to contact their support where they want more money.

They have replied saying they offered me 1-1 free training, but that is also a lie. This is what they said

Can't get access to the system. Never given username or password. Introduction was a waste of time, very unhelpful and when asked questions, wanted to get off the phone to next appointment. Now struggling to get in touch and have a full workforce unable to clock in and out.
The technician was very efficient on the phone and assisted with my issue very quickly. He also set up auto download for me

AVOID!! I wish I head checked trust pilot first! They don't advertise that the software doesn't work on anything but Windows, on either the software page of the website or the product description. Even if you search their website for 'software requirements' it doesn't come up. They also don't accept returns. Making my £495 purchase completely useless.
On top of this, the product I received is very old fashioned and tacky. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!

After having a PC fail, we contacted support to transfer the originally purchased license to the new PC, we have been told this is £100 for a new license, despite not needing a new license as the old one is still valid but on a PC that is broken. A new system with 3 devices costs £189 from Amazon with facial recognition with Excel spreadsheet connection, how can £100 be justified to move a license from one machine to another??

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! We purchased one of their machines just over 12 months ago. It no longer loads reports. To get support will cost an additional £500 PER YEAR! It's an over complicated machine, with poor backup and terrible instructions!
Despite the reply below, I did not receive any information regarding the expiration of the support. I was not offered an extension for £25 per month. To be honest, having done more research I can safely say that the cost of this support is extortionate in any case. There are no guides to help solve problems yourself offered either, as they are with other companies. The guides supplied for set up are basic and lacking any information regarding trouble shooting. This company has you over a barrel, with no support unless you pay through the nose for it!!!!! What should be a basic system is so over complicated.

Ok, I am editing my review fro. 1 star to 4 star. Their sales team was actually not very helpful, and is only interested in sales... however, after my 1 star review, their technical team contacted me. I explained that the antiviur programme quarantined their software and they have reissued me the license to complete the year I have purchased. It would be great if the system had the software repaired so it doesn't look like a virus to the computer. So maybe the developers could look into this. I will leave the original comments below as there are some fundamental issues they should address.

their program is useless! we purchased a year support and licence, and you can not get hold of their support at all! their support number doesnt work and when you reinstall the program because it stops working you are then unable to activate it! you call their sales team, because they do pick up the phone and they tell you you need to buy another license for another £99!
like hell!!!

We purchased one of thei products in March - Proxtime 100 System - which we received fairly quickly only to discover that the product was faulty and never worked.
We immediately emailed the Support Line to report that the item we purchased was faulty and did not work. We then had to email several more times before being asked to send the weight and dimensions of the package for them to organise a courier to collect the package from us.
After we had complied with this request we then received no further contact from company. Again after several more emailed attempts to resolve the collection issue we were just passed around to different departments.
Even after all the emails to chase up the collection of the faulty item, we were then finally told (this is now a month later) that we must return the faulty item back to you at our cost. Which we find of very poor service on your behalf.
We are STILL waiting for the returns label which they said would be provided for us and has not been sent to us.
The customer service is shocking and we had absolutely no help from them at all.
I will not be using this company again, anyone else should avoid and not waste your time or money.

We are a small business. After moving out of the 'free' support period we had no issues and no need to pay the excessive ongoing support fee. However we then simply upgraded one user PC so needed to transfer the software to the new machine. Initially we were quoted £499 to transfer including history. As this was more than the cost of buying a new system with one year support(!) we declined. We were then offered a cheaper fee of £99 to transfer the license. This sounded appropriate so we agreed to this and paid. It took over a week of constant chasing after full payment cleared for us to get the license changed over. However the software did not automatically detect the remote clock machine as it should. We asked for help with this and were told that would be another £499. I explained it would be cheaper to buy a new system and just got 'computer says no / that's not our process replies'. Time Systems now claim we were told this was self install and did not include configuration. Apart from the fact that is a lie and is not in any email or invoice detail that we were sent, having paid to have a license reissued, surely there should be a help available when that process does NOT self install automatically. The theme of this and of other reviews are clear. If you are a large business who can spread the cost of support over a large workforce this product might be OK for you. If you are a small business either accept the fact that the support is expensive, slow and unhelpful or alternatively find a cheaper and more helpful alternative. That's what we will do.

Time Systems have replied saying the monthly cost offered was £3.82 a week. Yes - this is what they offered - IF we took out a FIVE year support contract!!

The software is poor to be honest but for the price its okay... IF you know how to set up sage payroll. Also, be warned you have to install this on an actual desktop and cannot allow users to connect on a VDI. Everything after the setup you need is billable. From my experience, I would just go with the pricey options and have it all linked together as you have to set up users twice ... one on the terminal and again on the software.. big annoying.

Warning do not buy from this company
This, the product is absolutely useless, and the service is even worse. Avoid them like a plague and do not buy of this company. We sent back faulty unit with video showing the fault. They say they can’t find the fault and want to send it back for cost of £24 ! Unbelievable bad service. Plus it cost us £7 to send to them , why charge £24 ?? You can buy similar products of Amazon for fraction of the cost .

Absolute shambles of a company the kit and software is very dated and no reliable.
We had two biometric machines that had been faulty throughout, support could not find any fault.
We had to pay £18 to get them shipped back.
They came back with the same fault, emailed support a video and no reply.
The software also stopped working and support refuses to assist unless we pay £500+ for annual support despite the fact the machines have been back with them twice, and if you minus that time we would still be covered!!!!

It took two months to get this system working from support.
The connection is unreliable but generally can be fixed by reconnecting to the network, so not so bad.
Operationally, staff sometimes do double clock-ins or clock-outs because they have to press the correct clock-in or clock-out button. Most systems know when you've clocked in and out (present face to clock-in present face again to clock-out). Why would you ever need to double-clock in?
The software is basic but does the job
The killer is that the software loses the configuration that allows it to communicate with the face-recognition unit. This randomly happens with no causative reason. I would not mind if there were a simple fix for the issue. Nowhere in the supplied instructions does it tell you how to make a reconnection to the unit. You have to contact support to sort this out.
There is no telephone support except to take a message. You have to email support which is supposed to take up to two days to make a reply. I emailed up to five times over two weeks to get a callback. The last time this happened, I had the machine for just over a year, and the cost for support renewal is about £500.
You can use a USB to download a backup, but the data cannot be uploaded to the software, so you cannot see attendance reports. The result was we had to rely on rostering schedules to get times.
What can I say... You decide!

I purchased a GeoFace clock machine for around £400, but the software was outdated and difficult to set up. I paid an additional £75 for support to get it up and running. While it worked well for a while, it would break down randomly 2-3 times per year. When I contacted support via email, they did not address my concerns, but instead sent me an invoice and contract for a £500 per year support package, which was the only option available. When I asked if they offered email support, I was told no. I also attempted to request a manual but was told that they were unable to provide one. This company may not be suitable for those who are not computer programmers and willing to pay £500 per year for support on a £400 product. The software is very complex and the support is among the worst I have experienced in recent times. My issue could have been resolved quickly, but the company seems uninterested in helping their customers, as evidenced by my review and others.

I was not offered a discount for support, I was sent an invoice for £499 twice, invoice number 161766.
If one person says you have poor support then you can forget it, if two people say your poor support, you can ignore it. When 50% of your reviews are 1 star for terrible support, maybe you should start listening to your customers.

Do not at any cost bother making a purchase with this company, they are utter charlatans!! I purchased the GeoFace 200 clocking terminal. The 'support' that is offered is my email ONLY, no contact by phone at all. This company clearly just re-sell products of which the support team have no real knowledge and I was advised they cannot support features that the hardware offers as they have no clue what they do, or how to operate them! They are a complete joke, they just want to sell you the product, claim that they will support, and when you ask them how a feature works they say they can't offer any assistance or even an operating manual for the product, save from only the basics of adding an employees name!! Forget any idea of customer service, they just don't care about your concerns, nor their own clear lack of knowledge on the items they are selling, they have your money and that's all they are interested in.

The reply from Time Systems is a complete lie. Try calling the support team and you will not get an answer. Try calling the customer support team and they will tell you, as they did me, that the support team do not take calls and your only option is to send an email. But don't take my word for it, just try for yourself and find out! To answer the suggestion that I am trying to do something with the system that is is not designed for, this again is simply not true. Time Systems DO NOT have any knowledge of the options that the hardware provides, not even when I asked for assistance with the personalisation options, despite the website clearly stating that there are over 100+ options included. They don't make any of these products, they simply stick a label on a Chinese import and pass it off as their own, hence the reason they don't know what most of the hardware options even do!

Amazing experience. Extremely helpful in resolving my query. Couldn't recommend these guys highly enough.

We pay an annual costly support contract for a small business. We no longer can speak to an advisor. We now have to e-mail issues with the system. Our whole month payroll this month had to be calculated manually through total lack of support and lots of data missing.
They sent written instructions how to fix it ourselves which we were unable to do obviously. Why pay for a service then expected to perform technical tasks yourself.
