I made a mistake when ordering and i contacted The Tackle Tavern via email .
They were very helpful and sorted out the issue quickly.
Would recommend their service

The tackle Tavern are a great business to deal with, so efficient and quick in replying, also they refunded me the delivery charge, which was made by mistake, and I was so happy about that, And that’s why I gave them five stars.

Purchased a Drennan Acolyte Standard 1.5oz quivertip. I received the wrong quivertip, might as well have sent me a banana! You can’t call the Tackle Tavern for on-line orders. I emailed Tackle Tavern who requested me to return the quivertip at my cost! They also will not send me the correct quiver tip until they receive the wrong one that they sent me. I also have to wait 14 days to get my postage costs. I have spent 1.5 hours today to return the wrong quivertip. What a waste of time. I will not be using the Tackle Tavern again.

As I sent you the picture of the wrong product you sent me and a picture of the Royal Mail returns receipt I thought you may have some trust that I was a genuine customer who had clearly been sent the wrong product. So my expectation as a customer is that you should have actioned the dispatch to me of the correct product today. In addition, I told you I have advanced cancer and that I find my time very precious and I don’t like wasting it in returning goods sent in error. Let’s leave it there.

From the very first email to the completion of the deal i was kept informed of everything. The guy i dealt with was friendly and knowledgeable and made it very easy. Clear instructions, swift and easy payment were given with zero hassle . Would absolutely recommend and will definitely use again .

Ordered a rod at short notice to take on holiday and the tip eye had a crack that i noticed on inspecting it.
Emailed the shop and there excellent customer service raised a warranty claim and new tip delivered in time for my holiday.
The norm is you order and stuff turns up,the real test is when you have an issue and The tackle tavern were spot on,thanks.

I’ve been using tackle tavern for a while now and I’ve honestly spent thousands in there through online purchases.
Honestly I’ve had a couple of hiccups along the way (though no fault of tackle tavern itself I must add..DPD was one,and a issue with a bivvy another)but when getting intouch I’ve built up a friendly relationship with a lad called Nick who will deal with any of your issues and his customer service is second to none…which keeps me coming back and spending my money.
Put that with their competitive prices,and the option for next day delivery “which is important to myself “and it’s the best fishing store by a mile.
I’m not one for doing reviews but I’m on the back of Nick putting himself out again for me because of DPDs “isolated driver laziness “

So yeah I couldn’t recommend this place enough as you probably can tell by now 👍

11 months ago i purchased a Nash Indulgence chair from Tackle Tavern.
Arrived promptly and communication between Shop and courier was superb.
Unfortunately the item failed last month.
I emailed Tackle Tavern asking if it was still under warranty, and had an email later that day saying they had contacted Nash and confirmed it was under warranty.
They explained the process with the chair coming from Nash and gave me an estimated expected date.
Unfortunately Nash was waiting for stock to come in. But Tackle Tavern kept communicating this to myself every time Nash had communicated with them.
As soon as the chair came into stock. It was shipped out to myself the same day.
Arrived the following day again with superb communication between shop and courier and myself.
Amazing customer service. Amazing team.
Thanks again Nick for making this warranty claim as smooth as it was. No stress.

Absolutely fantastic service provided as always by the Tackletavern. For some unknown reason my order was cancelled. I sent an email to their support team and it was remedied within minutes by Nick. Nick also ensured that my parcel was still sent next day to me. A faultless service.

A couple of items I was after were not in stock but they always have the majority of what you need.

Would highly recommend Tackletavern for all of your fishing equipment needs.
