Accurate advice when we needed it
It can be challenging to get accurate advice on the complexities of leasehold law - we're so thankful we found The Freehold Collective while buying our first leasehold property! Mike took time to go over important details with us between exchange and purchase that made all the difference to how we advised our solicitors during conveyancing and how we planned our options to buy share of freehold or extend the leasehold. Without his help things could have gone very wrong!

I spoke to Mike and he was very helpful and honest with his advice regarding a specific type of lease extension even though he recommended that maybe the Freehold Collective were not the best option for my needs.

Great source of helpful information
I am a leaseholder in a block of flats where the freeholder recently announced they plan to sell the freehold. I know next to nothing about this area so I was pleased to come across the Freehold Collective to help me understand if the leaseholders could or should buy the freehold. So far it is still in exploratory stage, but they have been extremely responsive and helpful in explaining the various reguations and factors that are involved. I feel more confident in exploring the pros and cons of the decision knowing that the Freehold Collective would be able to provide expert guidance where needed.

We have been really impressed with Mike and Louise at TFC to date. They have added lots of experience, value and insights at each stage of our ongoing freehold acquisition which has placed us in a really strong negotiating position with the freeholder. I would highly recommend appointing this company to walk you through the freehold purchase process in a time and cost-effective manner avoiding what can easily become a long winded, litigious and expensive process if given incorrect advice.

Excellent Customer Service - extremely knowledgeable and helpful
It’s safe to say that without the Freehold Collective to guide us through this process we would not have stood a chance at navigating the purchase process.
They have been extremely helpful in laying out the process and have worked very hard to meet some very tough timelines due to delays on the residents side in securing the required numbers to enter into the purchase.
I was on the phone with Mike this afternoon and found him to be very helpful and friendly and generous with his time in answering all of my queries.
I’d also like to mention Robert who has been managing our case. He’s had to work very hard to secure us a solicitor at such a late stage and turn the impossible into the possible.
Thank you to them both and I feel in good hands in navigating what is a completely alien process for myself and many of the residents involved.
