Om The Cornish Fishmonger
Skrevet af virksomheden
The Cornish Fishmonger from Wing of St Mawes has been sourcing and selling the freshest, highest quality fish from the Cornish quayside for nearly 40 years, and wherever you are in the UK, you can have it delivered to your door within 24 hours of landing!
Expertly and sustainably caught, you’ll be sharing the catch with some of the UK’s top chefs as well as many other top London restaurants, which we’ve been supplying for years. That doesn’t mean it comes with a hefty price tag though – it’s often better value, and certainly a lot fresher than any supermarket you’d buy your fish from.
If you’ve never ordered your seafood online before, it couldn’t be easier. Visiting our website is much like taking a trip to your local fishmonger, with the added bonus of not having to leave your home. You’ll have over 30 species of fish to choose from, and you can even decide how you want your fish to arrive - ready filleted, portioned or whole. Whether you’d like to send that certain someone a tasty gift or set up a monthly fish box order, you can do it all at the click of a button.
Simply choose when you’d like your fish to arrive, and we’ll prepare, label and package your fish, to be couriered to your door on your specified day, and don’t worry if you’re not there to take delivery, our special cold boxes will keep your seafood fresh until you get home from work.
Our service doesn’t stop there though – we’ve got an extensive range of delicious recipes for any of level of cook, as well as expert advice on preparing and cooking fish, and a handy seasonality chart showing what fish to eat when – like vegetables seafood is seasonal! Our friendly team will be on hand to help too, so just pick up the phone if you have any questions about fish.

Wonderful fish
Great choice, speedy delivery, well packaged.
Four stars rather than five only because the child-friendly fish box contained 4 packs of fish pie mix, plus salmon and a flat fish - while delicious, was not as much variety as I had hoped for.
Huge bag of prawns amazing, oysters beautiful, crab claws divine. Clams full of grit unfortunately, but possibly more due to my preparation than anyone’s fault.
This isn’t the first time I’ve used the Cornish Fishmonger and won’t be the last, in the absence of a convenient local fishmonger.

We are sorry that you are unhappy with your order.
You should have received between 700g and 980g in total of steaked Turbot based on the 70% yield.
If this not what you have received please do get in touch so that we can put this right for you.

Thank you for your feedback Jonathan.
I am sorry to hear that DPD failed to make you aware that the order had arrived, and as a result the items became warm and you were not able to use them.
If you'd have contacted us directly we would have been able to help rectify this issue.
We never like to disappoint people, so if you'd still like to get in touch we'd love to hear from you on 01726 862489 or info@thecornishfishmonger.co.uk

Disappointed with the selection of shellfish, no dressed crab or clams just crab claws and cockles. The mussels were a bit dried up. Good lobster and oysters.

Super friendly and helpful staff and excellent quality fish
Super friendly and helpful staff. I rang in to enquire about stock bones and whether they could ship them. It's so heart-warming to be able to speak to an actual person and receive helpful advice, (without sounding like a fuddy duddy, this is rare these days). I placed an order and the box arrived within two days. Well packaged and excellent quality stock bones. I'm so pleased I found this company and will definitely be ordering from them again.
