Personal contact enabling me to buy the best fish available. I knew what I wanted, but the lady suggested the lined caught sea bass, so I added 2 fillets to my order. It arrived today and I baked it for 10 minutes in my airfryer oven. It was exquisite. Memories of freshly caught fish we experienced in Portugal. I will be ordering more.

This is by far the best Fishmonger in Newlyn, the middle one on The Strand! Excellent selection of freshly caught fish, friendly and passionate team with wonderful tips and overall an amazing service. We visited a few Fishmongers and were met with a lack of welcome (or even acknowledgement) from others, so W Stevenson was a breath of fresh air (and superb fish and service), so we went back twice and enjoyed delicious Hake, scallops, tiger prawns, squid and mussels. Highly recommend Elaine and her team, notably the helpful fishermen and Jess with enthusiastic recipe ideas. Thank you!

Couldn't be more happy with my order. Absolutely beautiful stuff I got. Everything is so fresh. Will be my go to place for seafood from now on. Well worth buying in bulk and freezing over buying imported supermarket trash.

Today I had the most amazing fish filleting experience with Elaine, Master Fishmonger.

First. The fish. So fresh i think it could have been revived in a second.

Second. The teacher. A real hoot who knows her craft. The blind filleting of a lemon sole will remain for ever.

The lesson. Taught me so much. How to prepare fish the proper way. Mackerel will never be the same and I don't even like it!

Elaine is an artistian. Really.

And I came away with have the ocean.

Gonna be one heck of a dinner tonight!!

Go and try the class or buy the best quality fish I have seen in England. Really.

Shame that driver didn’t wait for door to be opened. Goods dropped on front step and I found it difficult to lift box of goods.

My box arrived on time and with the ice packs still partly frozen. There was an excellent selection of fish varieties, with more packs than I was really expecting.
Obviously a good time of year to order!

I was very pleased with my order, both the variety and quality of fish and the prompt delivery that arrived really chilled. Great to support Cornish fishermen , too.

Fish arrived on time. Some was missing but when I contacted them they rectified it with ni problem. Good service and will certainly order again and have reccomended them too

We regularly buy family fish boxes from W Stevenson. The selection is always good, the quality high and the price is great value. Customer service too is exceptional.

Great quality swordfish and tuna, well packaged only let down by delivery service who did read the instructions of how to get to our house.
