After submitting photos of my car
After submitting photos of my car, I was given a guaranteed price of £7000. However if I delivered my car to their nearest site at Westbury I would get £7500. I drove the car to Westbury where it was inspected and I was left waiting for one hour. Finally I phoned the Head Office and was told that the brakes were faulty and need up to £1500 to repair. My car had passed the MOT just six days earlier and no one had even driven my car while it was at Westbury.
Realising that this company was a scam I left immediately

I’ve reviewed the call you had with our purchasing team. During the conversation, you were asked about the condition of the vehicle, including any exterior or interior damage, and you responded that there was none.
However, upon appraising the vehicle on site, our team found several issues that had not been disclosed, including:
Tape on one of the lights due to a cracked lens
A deep scuff on the front bumper
Paint chipping on the edge of the door
A tear in the leather on one of the seats
Missing ISOFIX points on the rear seats
Damage to a door card and speaker
A dashboard warning stating: "Active Brake Assist functions currently limited"
These factors significantly affect both the valuation and resale of the vehicle, and unfortunately, they were not mentioned during the initial valuation.
We aim to provide fair and transparent offers, which rely heavily on accurate information. If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to us directly.

Refused to by my car because it was previously registered a diplomatic vehicle. Gave no reason or explanation. Useless company, vasting my time.
They mention resale restrictions and company policy making it inpossible to buy formerly registered diplomatic vehicles. This BS, there are no restrictions on selling that kind of vehicles. If it is their policy, they should inform about it in advance, not waste the customers time.

It was really easy to do
It was really easy to do, smooth transaction. very nice people. Answered any questions and paid instantly. Would highly recommend these. My car didn’t get picked up so I took it in and they arranged transport for me home, really thoughtful.

Brilliant service
I wanted to write this review to express my appreciation for the brilliant service I received from Adam. This was my first time selling a car so the entire process was new to me. However, Adam explained everything thoroughly and clearly right from the initial phone call, which was great. Not to mention, the initial phone call was made on Saturday and by today (Wednesday) the car was collected so it was an extremely quick turnaround. I would highly recommend The Car Buying Group.

Speedy & Easy
Really easy process. Everyone I dealt with was friendly. Made everything very straight forward. I sent pictures across prior to collection, detailed all the marks/scratches on my car and then got paid the exact same as offered to me. Tara was extremely helpful and friendly and made the process seamless. Got paid there & then before my car was taken. Would use again in the future.

What a fantastic service. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. I uploaded some pictures on Friday they made me an offer and have been to collect the car today. No bartering or trying to reduce the price. Money was in my bank within 20 minutes. Adam Crowther was my point of contact and the gentleman who came to collect it was called Naim. Thankyou both agaib

Poor service, rip off company, avoid
Had a call back immediately from a guy who took my details and promised to get me the best price as soon as possible. Was a good start but was too good to be true. Over an hour later I had a message back quoting me £1,500 less than initially offered due to a missing service. Absolute joke and a scam. The guy thought he would be smart and cocky with his replied. Would never recommend this service seems like they are trying to pry on people who don't know their cars worth and are trying to maximise profits whilst massively ripping off customers. My suggestion is to avoid at all costs.

I was thinking about using webuyanycar
I was thinking about using webuyanycar, then I found out about the car buying group unlike the others there is no hidden charges or admin fees! So I spoke to a really nice guy called Jamie, he asked me a few questions about the car i was selling, he asked me to upload a few pictures then gave me a guaranteed price for the vehicle, after a couple of text messages a date was confirmed and the car was collected a couple of days later. The guy who collected the car was very friendly and professional and after a quick chat the car was loaded up, then I spoke to a very pleasant young lady on the phone to confirm details and then the payment was received! All this in under 45 mins!! What a fantastic experience thank you for saving me time and money. Highly recommended!!!!
