Ordered and delivered in less than a week. We had chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream and it tasted delicious! Really impressed, Thankyou.

First time l used the company. Absolutely No issues. I ordered it for my nieces 40th birthday. Despite the very bad weather it was delivered on time and my niece was very pleased especially with the light chocolate sponge. It looked just like the images, and yes you do have to put the final touches on yourself, but would not of expected it to come fully decorated with sparklers etc. Will use them again. Thanks very much

I've ordered from The Cake Store for years for birthdays. They are expensive, but the cakes were always fantastic & amazingly decorated. I lived within the city, so they always delivered. I ordered again this year. I did not see anything which would indicate to me that the cake I ordered (expensive as always) would not arrive fully decorated as in the past. But now, instead of getting a ready cake, they send the flat cake in a box - yes it has icing on it, but just the 'cover' icing if you will. All the bits and pieces for decoration come separately in the box - you have to decorate it yourself. What on earth do they think I'm paying for?
Update: After we ate the cake, I have to say, it was delicious. For me it is no longer worth the high price to order from here, however, as the big splash was the outstanding decoration which from what I understand, they are now not providing.

The best cake and service EVER!!!
I order for my son's birthday every year for seven years from The Cake Store and guests were always impressed. Our cakes are always in line with the party theme, customised as per our request. This year it was a Minecraft party and we ordered a tower cupcake with Minecraft pictures we have chosen. The best chocolate cake you can imagine! We always get compliments about the cake. Today I had a problem with the delivery and The Cake Store contacted the delivery company for me and sorted it out after I tried everything to get in touch with the delivery company all day with no joy. We are a very happy customer. I can't recommend The Cake Store enough.

I order a birthday cake in October for delivery in November. The cake arrived on the date request in excellent condition. The cake was very moist with just a thin layer of icing and tasted absolutely lovely, all my guests without exception really enjoyed it. Thanks The Cake Store, I will definitely use you again.

Bad. The cupcakes never arrived, despite that the delivery date was 1 day before the event date.

On Monday morning, 1 November 2021,still the cupcakes have not arrived!!

The best cake! My sister ordered a wedding cake with cupcakes for my wedding, after having ordered a birthday cake from the cake store previously and being impressed. We were not disappointed! The main cake was lemon drizzle and it was so light and tasty. The cupcakes were a mixture of chocolate and vanilla and were gorgeous. Everything was beautifully decorated. It all came well packaged with step by step instructions of how to put it together. We are still getting compliments about the cake several weeks on. I can't recommend this store enough for mail order cake

We were so incredibly impressed with the service we received, having ordered the cake on Sunday night, we received courier delivery of it on Tuesday morning, beautifully packaged with step by step instructions on how to put it together. The cake itself was delicious, firm but moist with a fine crumb. The icing was the exact right level of sweetness, thin without being dry and the filling was perfect! This will definitely be our go-to company for future cakes orders.
