This company takes the pet sitters earned money for themselves. It puts it into their wallet and even goes to the bother of palming you off in emails saying they are having financial difficulties and after a few emails back and forth they ignore you. They have been stealing money from people for quite a while and are trying to maximise as much as they can it’s clear to see as they are still up & operating as normal. I bet the company will soon disappear. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Walkers stay away - this company is run by parasitic bigoted scum who have harassed and abused my autistic partner for switching away from using their services, stalking their social media, using sharks to coerce them to give back money they don't even owe.

Do not give these thieving bastards a cent.

This company is keeping me informed of my next steps and explaining the whole process extremely well.

I have used the tailster app a few times and find it useful

DO NOT book pet services with this company.
DO NOT take bookings from this company.
They WILL NOT PAY you for your work.

Do a web search for the UK government website Companies House. Then look for Dog Stay. You will find all sorts of documents that say the company was put into administration and will officially CEASE TO EXIST as of December 2024.
The administrator notes say they WILL NOT PAY creditors/suppliers. This means dog walkers/pet sitters will not be paid.
DO NOT RESPOND TO QUOTES from clients as Tailster will confirm bookings on your behalf **without your authorisation** so they can take the pet owner's money. If you do the work you won't be paid. If you don't do the job the pet owner loses their money (unless Tailster can find someone else to dupe into doing the job).
Surely it is illegal to impersonate someone else and confirm a contract on someone else's behalf without their authorisation?

Worked for Tailster for years without issues however recently they have been getting terrible.

Done a £160 job for Tailster not to pay me! They told me they had a new head of finance so were a bit behind, then they told me payments were being forwarded to the new guy, then stopped answering my emails all together!!

I'm not the only one that's had problems either.

It's been over 3 months since I worked that job and I imagine I will never be paid for it now.

Will not do another job for them - don't recommend at all!!

Do not I repeat DO NOT sell services through these people. This is a trading name of Dog Stay Limited which has been insolvent for over a year and applied to be struck off, bankrupt, last month. It’s beggars belief they still trade, as they accepted payment from me today, but they won’t be able to pay you going forward, hence everyone else complaining. They won’t even exist yet take your money! Use another service provider.

I have not been paid by Tailster since 15 August 2024 despite emailing them twice ( telephone number doesn’t work anymore) and got the standard reply from Siobhan that it will be passed on to Finance
They have no problem taking money from my clients & myself for the premium membership which incidentally says you will be paid within 7 days
I no longer trust Tailster(JPLC) Limited or wish to work with this company
If payment not received in 7 days I will be taking to small claums

UPDATE 8.11.2024:
After sending three recorded letters with a claim threat, one was delivered to JPLC Ltd, Marlborough House Ground Floor, 298 Regents Park Road, N3 2SZ, and I was paid 2 days later. I also sent a copy of the letter via email and Siobhain responded to me today saying payment has been made. I wish it didn't require so much effort to get what I have earned already. Not good enough, Tailster, it is very disappointing.

I have been a pet sitter with Tailster since October 2023 and I did not withdraw any money until 17 September 2024. Still to date I have not received any funds. When I contacted info@ I had a response on the 2 October from Siobhan who checked if my bank account details are correct (which they are). She said that she will follow up with the finance team and still to date I have no money. The problem I have is that it is nearly £500 which I worked towards the whole year using it as my savings pot and I now need money.
I tried all phone numbers online and none of them work. If I don't receive the money I am owed within next 7 days, I will be taking this to small claims court.

Stay away- this company is a SCAM. DO NOT JOIN THEM! I registered with them a couple of months ago, paid extra to be a premium member.

I was booked for boarding services which finished on the 03 Sep 2024. I did a cash withdrawal of the funds owed to me on the 06 Sep 2024 and since then have still not been paid. I have sent numerous emails querying payment. Some of the emails have been responsed to, others haven't. Responses have been received from Siobham confirming that my banking details were correct- they were correct. Then more recently, I was told by Siobham that the head of finance had left the company and the new finance team was looking into resolving these payments.

It doesn't look very optimistic that I will be paid. Don't fall for this scam like I did.

Absolute disgrace of a ‘service’. I completed a dog sitting service for 8 days back on the 7th august and withdraw my money from the wallet on the 10th september when I was due to be paid assuming this would go straight into my bank account.

I was wrong!! I have sent numerous emails to the email address asking for the money i am owed and have had the same sham response from Siobhan that my bank details are wrong when they clearly aren’t! I have told her what the Zempler account details are to send the money into and nothing.

I received a response from her on the 3rd october saying that she has sent a message to the finance team to urgently send the payment I AM STILL WAITING! they are so quick to take the money yet not pay the carers it’s a disgrace to say the least.

I will be taking matters further to a small court or citizens advice. do not use the company !!

Tailster is a great app if you are looking for new clients and to get started with dog pet care.

Had a great sitter for when we went to Spain for a week.

Horrendous service from Tailster compared to previous.
Every 1-2 months they withhold monies owed to sitters and you have to chase for them to actually send this.
However on more than one occasion in the past 12 months now they have stated their head of finance has left the business and there is a delay in sending payments (2 months delay due to this 🤷‍♂️).
They used to be clockwork and everything was great, but I would NOT recommend them to anyone who wants to try and earn a living and be paid for the work that is carried out. Over the past 18 months they have gradually taken longer and longer to pay, and 2/3 month waits is a disgrace when the owners pay immediately at the end of week or one off care date so they have the monies in their accounts to send on…..what are they doing with it is the biggest question as it’s not being paid to the carers?
