Takes money from carers
I haven't even completed my application and they took £9.99 from my account without my authorisation. Looked at their T+Cs and saw nothing about this amount being deducted. But I read once you start working they charge a £250 fee!! An unjustified and unreasonable amount when people are usually signing up for some extra work on the side of life. I had to delete my account as I couldn't remove my back card. Have emailed them but yet to hear back.

They don’t pay their sitters.
Worked with them for 3 years, issues with communication but manageable until the last year: 2024. They just stopped paying me after jobs had been completed, meaning they owed me £1100 as it was several months worth of pay. They don’t answer the phone and stopped replying to emails. I can’t take them to court because they’ve dissolved as a company (and been bought by the owner’s cousin!!). Thieves and scammers. Go with Rover instead for your animals, they actually answer their emails.

This a response to tailster reply to my previous review.
I understand that the issue has been passed on to another department however I’ve received no response from this other department as of yet only an email stating it’s been passed onto them.
Communication regarding this process would be nice so I would have at least known what was going on it took leaving a review to actually get a response from you as to why this had even happened in the first place.
All I’m asking for is communication regarding this process so I know where I stand the longer it goes on for the more potential clients I’m missing out on.

Tailster has allowed me to connect with a few people that are welcoming, polite and respectful. As a result, I’ve found a regular gig that isn’t too far away from my house. Although it may take sometime for your booking pay to be released (5 business days), Indy has been helpful and reassured me that the funds would reach my account safely, which they did.
I would recommend if you’re looking for a quick, part-time job.

Although I am still in the early days of using Tailster, I am pleased to see it REALLY IS a platform that allows pet-lovers to help one another without the faff! Indy has been exceptionally helpful in aiding me through any queries or confusion that did arise whilst doing identity checks, or messaging pet-owners and so on… Am impressed and look forward to more!

I give only 2 stars because of the onboarding process I was unhappy and concerned about it. So this review is about this . I have seen on linkin some adverts which I have found interesting about pet caring. I thought I give it a go and started to sign up. I did not check before hand any reviews. Whilst filling out all the data and clicking on accepting their T &L I went into my emails and saw to my shock an email with an attached invoice of GBP 9.00 for vetting . It was at no point mentionend that they will send an invoice for vetting . As I haven't finished my profile I have stopped and have sent two emails to their email address. The first one hasn't been responded but the 2nd email has and they have deactivated my account and voided the invoice as I have requested. The email was proffesional therefore I give them 2 stars. For Tailster :I would recommend to mention to clients the 9.00 GBP bill on the page to fill in all details.
Tailster is the best dog care online organisation yet!
I enjoy being a part of Tailster. It is very welcoming and the platform is good and customer service friendly. I wish they had an app though. Indy is particularly good at answering any queries and resolving them, would recommend this organisation for dog owners and lovers!!

They are very supportive and helpful as when I was completing my profile and application which reassured me when I didn't know what to do as they supported me the whole way around. I also want to say a big thank you to Indy who helped me so much with what to do with my account too. She was very kind and friendly and clear which helped me understand what I needed to do for the insurance and reassured me with the pricing to make it easier and more manageable for me. She is amazing at what she does and I would fully recommend her!
