This is clearly a scam.
I signed up for this VOIP service and was scammed. They signed me up automatically for a voice recording service I never signed up for. It does not seem possible to port my number. Does not seem possible to cancel the service on their website too and you need to send them an email. So annoying... I have sent an email, and will see if they respond. Will probably have to contact my credit card company to cancel the debit. vetter to avoid.
Edit: they came back to me and refunded me. They claim they don’t need to abide by consumer law as they are BtoB. The service they “sold” me (without me realising it) are an option that is free for the first month. Better to be careful what you are signing for!

Regarding the free trial of our call recording feature, we offer a one-month free trial at sign-up, with clear instructions and an email reminder before the trial ends. Customers can easily opt out of this trial during sign-up by deselecting the toggle option. However, we understand your concerns and would of course be more than happy to remove and refund this feature for you.
To ensure the security of our customers, we ask for a written email with a security question to cancel the service. This step is crucial in preventing any unauthorised cancellations, particularly from customer competitors. While we understand that this process might seem cumbersome, it’s a measure put in place to protect our customers’ interests.
We strive to be transparent and fair in all our practices, and we’re committed to ensuring that our customers feel secure and satisfied with our services. If there are any specific issues you'd like to discuss further or if you need additional assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us directly. Rookie Error
I'm a new subscriber and made a mistake in the setting up of the calls etc. Got hold of Oliver in support and he fixed it in no time. Didn't even rag me for my schoolboy error.

Amazing phone systems, apps and customer service
We have not only saved well over £1000 a year moving our phone lines from BT to Switchboard Free, we have ended up with a far superior system for managing all our calls into and out of each of our numbers. From first contact they were so helpful and friendly and actually made the whole process easy and I highly recommend them.

Spoke to Laura today on support and what stood out for me was her intent natural nature to want to do the best in the framework of what I was trying to achieve if that makes sense.. It wasn't a case of how quickly can we get this done and onto the next, instead it was how about we try this or how about we call it that.. She was also very patient and listened to all the ins and outs of my enquiries..
It could have gone the other way, how about have you read the pdf guide, faq or used the online spasimodo ai bot yet? know what I mean..
SBF have got it right, good old fashioned service where everything is known 1st time when asked
I actively asked if I could write a glowing email to perhaps her boss which she said she would prefer a trustpilot review..
so here we are..
Been using these guys for my phoneline for over a year, I personally recommend them based on my actual real life dealings with them..
Not being funny or anything but let's have it right, UK customer support is key, if I had to deal with people with accents from a 3rd world country 5000 miles away there is definitely that barrier there sometimes so it is refreshing to talk to UK support
As my business grows and needs increase there is a bolt on to cover that..

Take today Abbey who we dealt with us was absolutely amazing.
