The entire process of installing the solar system and backup batteries has been very easy. All of the individuals I have worked with along the process have been very helpful, informative and easy to work with. Any time I had a question it was answered quickly. Overall the experience has been great.

Sunrun staff made everything easy for me. They were great to work with. I think we developed a plan that will reduce my cost and carbon footprint.

Every step was completed exactly as stated and all my questions were answered accordingly

The solar panels were installed improperly, causing damage to the roof of my home. Water seeps in through my bedroom ceiling when it rains. The panels had technical issues multiple times a year since they were installed. At one point, we waited for months for a working part, so we missed out on cost savings for several months at a time. In addition, they are now charging service labor fees every time the faulty parts they installed go bad. Terrible service and quality.

I wish there was a way to rate less than zero. If you even think about ever adding solar to your home you better run as fast as you possibly can from Sunrun!
They will break every promise made and after that they will extort $$$ from you! Please don’t go there I’m stuck!

Followed the advice of my Sunrun Reply about contacting their resolution department they still gave me the same run around. Not one straight answer could they give to me. So not worth having them as a Solar partner Go with a private company!

I wish they would let you put no stars because this is what this "company" deserves. They are awful, I made the mistake of having them put in solar panels and every thing has been one disaster after another. My garden was tramped, trash EVERYWHERE, tons of roof tiles and caps broken. Plastic left on my roof with no explanation they had broken tiles. Used my personal ladder without asking. Spray painted my new concreted driveway. Have been promised recompense but nothing. I have the solar panels installed but NO ONE will tell me what the next steps are. I've been trying to get a hold of my service person Lindsey and now her supervisor Shelly Hatfield but they will no give me Shelly's phone number. No one in this company knows what they are doing. I was lied to from the beginning from my salesman all the way until now. I will be seeking a litigation attorney unless someone gets back to me today!! This has been going on since March 7, 2025.

Sunrun has been amazing to work with. Eli was my main contact salesperson and he was like having a right hand man the entire process. He was there to guide the entire process, make all necessary calls and handle any changes along the way. Kacee finished the power on process and was great with every conversation to ensure the finishing touches. Honestly the people convinced me to switch; I could feel the trust. It was like being surrounded with best friends. Thank you Sunrun Team!

Got a nice deal on a new roof, solar panels installed and all electrical panels.
The SunRun rep has very helpful though the whole process. Very satisfied.

Great install, they showed up and knew what they were doing and were very professional. Great experience overall and left my property as they found it, am looking forward to seeing the benefits of solar with the whole house battery backup.

The experience with Sunrun has been horrible thus far. There are layers of people that are responsible to deliver the project, and it has been a complete failure. They don’t communicate, and if there is any contact, it is with the sales rep, and he will only send random text messages saying he doesn’t know anything. As the customer, if I would have known what I know now, I would never have signed the contract.

They are refusing to pay me for having to have a repair company to look at my central air but it turns out they didn't hook my air up. So haf to get a electrion to come hook it up a d cost me 400.00 and they even said it was sunruns technicians fault not mine.
Sent them the receipt and they still want more proof.
If I don't get my money they can come get their panels.

Would give a 0 if I could! I am so unhappy with the service I am getting as a new customer. No one will return my calls. Don’t buy solar with Sunrun. 😩 * I will follow up if someone contacts me.

Everyone was outstanding! They were polite, considerate and knowledgeable. They answered all of our questions and cleaned up after themselves! We can't say enough about Zack Hathaway! Our sales representative. He's a great guy! As nice as he is knowledgeable! And not pushy! A very nice, well mannered young man! I would definitely recommend this company to my family and friends! I already have.

Our sales rep, Erika, was friendly, very responsive and answered all our questions. The installation team and other employees were friendly and courteous. They kept us informed of the progress, including any delays due to the City's involvement.

I’m giving four stars because no company is perfect. Overall, I’m happy with SunRun, I did have a few hiccups in the beginning but all my concerns were addressed in a timely manner. I like the power purchase agreement because there is no out of pocket cost. My only recommendation is, if you decide to switch to solar, get the Tesla app so you can monitor your energy production and consumption. Also, batteries are a must. I highly recommend SunRun if you’re thinking about going solar.

This is my second time having Solar panels with Sunrun. Everyone was helpful knowledgeable and understood my needs and never oversold me. They were able to navigate the process and assisted with my HOA. Very accommodating and timely. I recommend them to anyone wanting solar!!
