Won't fulfil their duty of care even to vulnerable tenants
They deserve less than 1 star. They couldn't care less about their vulnerable tenants or peoples living conditions. Our home has been left in disrepair for many years. They finally came to do some repairs and left it half done with tiles ripped off and plaster crumbling from the walls. We're expected to continue living like this as we can't get hold of anyone to resolve it. even with the state of the house meaning my sick mum cant care for herself. I've done everything I can to reach out to different people in the council and it's impossible to even get a call back or appointment. Absolutely appalling, and the lack of care for people and property conditions is inexcusable. Doesn't seem to matter how many complaints you raise either, they'll happily leave vulnerable people to rot in subpar living conditions.
Bodga Job Repairs
Live Room window. Jobs are not completed and they rush off to their next job making promises they cant keep. And it looks an eyesore. Not even been measured up right. The sides were left and told they would be done. And when phone repairs, can be waiting an hour before any answer, emails takes a week for replies or longer. Housing officer never returns messages you leave and seems none existent.

Repairs lines are under staffed - hold times of up to 50+ minutes. Repairs reports are not action, homes left in state of disrepair. Housing list staff are invisible, there is no one to speak to in housing list except call centre staff who are not in a position to help tenants - 30 days wait for staff to respond to emails. I swear these department only has 2 staff working between them.

Awful is not even the worst they are just making are live harder by making us run and round in circles trying to get basic services! Almost a year try for assistance for chronic illness person adapting to been done! All been delayed by a check box! She could die by time someone just picks up the phone and try’s pushing it harder to fix the mistake

No duty of care dismal service No heating or hot water since 10/12023. They don’t answer the complaints line never they don’t answer emails only an automated reply totally inadequate service. Dismal performance as a social housing tenant I can say Southwark council along with smith and byford have failed miserably they have left me and my child without hot water or heating since above date every one seems to pass the Buck and blame the other but as Southwark is my landlord I believe they have a duty of care towards the tenants in this case none has been provided missed appointments poor excuses deflecting tactics all I would like is to have a working boiler so I can have some heating and hot water

if i could give them 0 star review i would. they never answer there phones and when they do they either direct you to a department that never picks up or will hung up on you, send them an email and theyll tell you they cant help you and will direct you to a number that doesnt help in that issue you need help with just going round in circles. if these people dont like their jobs go find another job. southwark council is absoluty disgusting. ive been going round and round in circles for the past week.

Been out of heating and hot water for 3 days in middle of winter. I have been waiting for engineer for 2 days meaning I can't go out to buy anything. My kids nose bleeding and my walls are wet. Very useless council

I keep getting threatening messages from Southwark Council (parking services) about two penalty charges, even though I have made the payments and have sent them proof! Seriously need to think about who they give contracts out to! Totally incompetent!

These people at Southwark repairs are a joke moved into a property July 2021 didn’t know there was so many repairs here’s a few wet room floods dirty fans and cupboards sloping floors half a room done due to dry rot unsafe window can’t wash walls paint just comes off had a gas leak sept 2021 have no cupboards with drawers guess what some idiot at the voids team cancelled all the jobs so went imbued and now saying I refused repairs when I challenge them they are saying they couldn’t contact me bet they could if I owed rent total disgrace and still waiting for repairs to be done
