The CS wasnt bad
The CS wasnt bad, pretty quick to get back to me, but i explained the problem even present a video and images and they still keep asking me to try diffrent things. Even after I bought a new feeder they offered to refund me.

Multicolor prints for the win
Set was simple , intructions are spot on and very well done for install, this is my first machine and it works amazing , I have been getting youtube certified on what all of the different settings do and how to adapt based on what print I am using. This machine is amazing.

First time using Snapmaker and have been blown away by their fantastic customer support.
Bought the U1 in Feb and had great communications through out the transaction.
When I had an issue, speaking to their support team was nothing short of brilliant.
Well worth it!
I purchased this Snapmaker U1 to upgrade from an old Ender 3 Pro and I will see even with all the Ender upgrades this is a night and day difference. The setup was easy and did not take long. I was up and printing in no time and the printing and quality was beyond my expectations. Ive only had it couple of days but it has been a workhorse for me already. I'm very pleased with the build quality and design and the Multi Tool head system really makes printing multi color so much faster and its great not wasting a ton of filament. I would recommend this printer to anyone.
The Snapmaker U1.
The U1 packaging that the machine comes in, is comprehensive, high quality, robust and very well thought out. As you do the minimal assembly, and start using the U1, you realise that your original excellent impression has been maintained and even surpassed at every stage, culminating in a first print that will not fail to impress beyond the highest expectation. Subsequent prints, and getting to 'know' the machine equally as impressive and satisfying with plenty of excellent backup and forums to boot to stretch possibilities. My only disappointment has been that the official Top Cover, which further stretches the machines' capabilities, will not be shipped till later in 2026. But there are plenty of well documented solutions for that, even so.
A simply groundbreaking machine, from a company that does what it says it will do. Worth every penny.
Excellent customer service
Had some issues with delayed shipment over what seemed a rather silly reason to me. That said, once I contacted support they replied promptly. I found them friendly and they got my printer moving in a shockingly short time. Over the last decade my expectations from customer support have declined significantly. These guys were the exception, and were helpful and pleasant to deal with.
The printer (U1) itself has been an excellent experience so far. My expectations were actually pretty high, to this point it's still exceeding them.
Nearly A Perfect Printer/Experience
I placed an order for a U1 printer, which was an easy process. The printer arrived without any visual damage. Unpacked the printer per the video tutorial and set it up. This printer is a fast, multicolor, beast!! So far (1 print), I absolutely love the printer. The whole experience has been great!! I only have a couple suggestions for improvemnt. This printer is missing the top. It almost feels incomplete without the top. It should be included in the package. The door needs to open at least 180°. The door opening is a little too low keeping the first, and most important, layers nonviewable. The last complaint is the camera. It is nearly worthless for live viewing prints. I hope you fix it with the next firmware update. Thank-you creating an overall great product and I hope it provides years of fun and creativity.
Amazing machine with great print…
Amazing machine with great print quality. Very good online and discord support. Hope the develop a way to get more than 4 colors printing at once.
Only had it for a few days
Only had it for a few days, but it has been great. I was worried that all the reviews were fake, but took a leap of faith and ordered it anyway. The setup was a little more cumbersome than I would have liked though!

I absolutely love the new Snapmaker U1, I received on 4/7 and set it up
On 4/8 got my first dragon as a benchmakrk and then found the Azure Dragin and printed that , whoa!!! Simply outstanding!!! And no wasted filament ..
I'm loving the time and waste savings
I'm loving the time and waste savings with the U1, but there are a few suggestions I have for improvement.
A push notification for error pauses would be extremely useful, combined with some kind of auditory alert so people know when something isn't right.
The purpose of this machine is to cut waste, and in that effort, many- myself included, have skipped a prime tower. This can lead to those little boogers getting attached to the print from the oozing in the parked nozzle. In this case, I would suggest an option to begin each turn at printing to begin with a nozzle wipe instead of a prime tower.
The tower has it's uses, but this option would allow people to reduce that waste even more without dealing with the stray dots and strings.
If it led to possibly subpar prints based on the lack of priming, that is something we can ask take into account for ourselves, but I think that option/feature should exist.
Another feature would be to remove the necessity of having to label and load each filament from the display.
If we can insert into the feeder, and then label and load from the slicer, it would be very useful.
Incredible productivity within multicolor printing.
Overall very happy with the printer. I own the P2S and U1. It is very hard for me to tell the difference between each print. Snapmaker Orca is useful and doesn’t slow my workflow. Although my 10 yr son prefers Makerworld App directly to P2S, he wished he could print on the U1. We use a desktop version of Orca for the U1, which he is yet to learn. The noise is noticeable higher than P2S, but a POD upgrade from CC3D Projects will drop down the noise. My work flow now is incredible productive with Mutlicolor prints on the U1, and ingle color prints on P2S.

There was so many projects that I’ve been putting off because the amount of time and waste it would take to print them in color but with the Snapmaker, my options are limitless. I’m really starting to flex my creativity now I’m super satisfied with this printer.

We were so happy with the U1 we received few weeks ago, that we ordered a second one
Tool changer
Mostly good but problems exit
I am having problems with the 4th toolhead. It will print fine for two or three hours but then gives an error message about not being able to read the toolhead and needing to clean the pogo pins. I will do this but a few hours later it happens again. The pattern repeats itself. This only happens on toolhead 4. At this point since i have had it less than 48 hours wondering if i should return it
While the instruction manual is good, perhaps more than one line would be helpful at times to explain why it is requested. For example, why do you move the print head around the edge two or three times. For the most part it was self explanatory but there were times you wondered why
You have very limited files to print on your site to choose. There is an online site that you if you can use files from bambu labs files, strip the bambu lab headers so they don't give errors inside orca slicer but it would be easier if this was done inside the program. If you were totally new you may not be aware of other sites where you can get files to print.
When bringing up files from your site, it keeps the color information from the file. It would be nice if it could automatically sync or at least gave the option to sync with the color selection on the machine.
Also the plastic on the machine flexes too much giving it a cheap feel.
The camera for video is almost worthless in the mobile app. It is very jerky. It would almost be better to just take still shots.
The machine has potential but it is noisy. I have had 4 3d printers. I would rate Bambu Labs H2C best, snapmaker u1 as second but very close is the Prusa mini (it never gave me any issues but it is much smaller limiting my use), and finally the Ender 3. There is nothing good i can say about Ender unless you want to convince people not to get into 3d printing, then you give them an Ender
