Been on the site for a couple of months and still searching. I believe that good things come to those who wait, so patiently waiting and being open minded. Have came across few time wasters, so called 'looking around' users, but I guess all sites has them now and then. Surprised about the negative comments from others though, I've actually enjoyed using the site and app on my phone and haven't experienced such issues. People need to be more positive and understand that it takes time and efforts to search for a partner online.

I recently joined the website and also found the app really easy to use.

Easy functionality to message made my experience great.

Really looking forward to meeting my future wife on here.

Not so long ago, a friend introduce me to Single Muslim. Although I’m not a fan off online dating as I like to do things the conventional way. I quite enjoyed using the app. I am already talking to a potential, IA let’s see what happens. Customer service is good and you can actually call in which is a added benefit.

Honestly i am still new n still confused how to go about this app but not to worries ,the admin is so helpful n gorgeous person ,but i don't know if this work ,my heart still not wanting to know anyone as i have been cheated badly n bad experience ,i am more careful than being sorry for another time.

I subscribed to the site to look for my sister in law. It is not a halal or Muslim friendly site. Lots of men want to date and get to know the woman, demanding photos, not reading profiles, regardless of the profile heading and content they just was a quick flick and photos. Lots of shameful catfishes. Even though singlemuslim has been out 19 years it’s a dodgy 19 years with I guess lots of divorces and lots of sexual relationships outside of marriage. It’s not a halal shariah based site. But a dating site for Muslim who are very liberal. There are some genuine people looking, but so many profiles have no info and then the men come out they’ve been married 2/3 times?? The ages are wrong, unverified accounts, lots of fake info. The site is flooded with fake profiles, which could not be endorsed by single Muslim but they don’t actually verify anyone.

So in my opinion don’t use them or muzmatch unless you can take lots of bs, and shift through tons of fraudulent men and be patient for the old genuine one to spring up.

A few other points, I rejected a brothers request for photos as was so direct. So I said no and goodbye. I get an email from SM team with an account warning of being abusive. Pure utter nonsense and this happened twice.

Really a site for weirdos. Stay well clear.

I wanted to subscribe and could afford it, but decided not to out of principle because the cost of membership is much higher than other sites.
I monitored the prices for a number of months, but unfortunately they do not run any promotions or offers either.
It feels like Single Muslim is turning into a dinosaur and will be left behind as other sites are far more competitive and in tune with the market. If they dropped their prices to the £60-£70 per year levels like what other sites charge, I would happily join up and support the site. I’ve also noticed the same members are on other sites where I can access them for free. Furthermore, the out dated policy of females getting free membership is unfair, not only on the males, but also on the females themselves because they are messaging males that have not paid so won’t get replies. Everyone loses.
The argument of it being a small cost for finding a life partner is valid, but there’s no guarantee so it’s effectively emotional blackmail; And for such a noble cause, they should be more noble towards the males instead of fleecing them.
So sadly it’s a one star rating on this occasion. Happy to change my review to a positive one if the site changes that way too.

Sorry to write my review late I was using single muslim in year 2012 and really i like the site it is very good to connect true people with each other thanks to Allah I found my soul mate through single muslim in the second month I found her and we married so my recommendations for this site is 100%

Great site for Muslims. It works like all the other dating sites in that you pay for a month but you have to cancel your subscription or it will auto renew. I've made that mistake in the past with other sites. I guess this normal practice.
Anyway I would recommend this site if you are truly looking for the one.

I recieved 5 messages from different girls on the site. So I took out membership for a month in order to read and if need be reply back to the messages.

Just like magic all 5 girls disappeared and never replied back to my message.

Now why would you contact me and show interest to only disappear. Okay it can happen once or twice but 5 times is more than a coincidence and without no doubt leads me to believe they are fake profiles and it's a scam.

So all the other similar reviews I have read on here I will back up their accounts and reiterate all our voices that this is a scam site.

Completely useless, Waste of time and money. Paid for 1 month subscription on the app, I thought it would be just for 1 month and my account will go back to standard after the month expires like every other similar service providers. But nope, they charged me for another month even though it did not mention anywhere that it was auto renewed at the end of the month so now here I am wasted money for 2 months a useless service.
