Single Muslim send you so many messages from average girls yet when you pay and join they don’t respond. It’s a effin scam

Terrible Muslim matrimonial site where men are charged £30 per month and females use it for free. This results in lot of the same females on that site majority don’t seem serious and if they don’t like the look of you they won’t respond or just simply block you after saying hello. For any Muslim guys out there don’t join . Will never join that site again .

I downloaded this sight over a week ago and started to talk to a guy. We swapped numbers but I started to notice little things as in discrepancies between what he said on the phone and what was on the profile (his age, country of origin).
We talked on the phone and I noticed his English was not good (nor was it good on text). I then noticed that his account was not available on single muslim to review.
He said he did not have any social media but a quick photo search revealed a social media account of someone in France.
I promptly ended the conversation but I wished that Single Muslim would have contacted me to inform me of his blocked account. In a quick message to say: 'This account is being investigated please be aware'.

I wish i had read these reviews prior to paying them money.
If this website is concerned about identity of MEN, about them being fake, then why not ask for identity documents/photo ID at the time of signing up?
This so called islamic website, want money/card details of Men first and then would "randomly" pick you to send your ID documents.
In this day and age of identity theft, how many professionals would risk that?
They suddenly remove your profile and would not refund your money.You would never see your money again after that.
At signing up, they want card/bank details of Men on their records, so they can squeeze money out of you,every month.
Their customer service number is 0844,which means you pay them,everytime you ring to complain or need help of their customer service. ridiculous.

If i have abused anyone , then why not provide proof of that abuse?
No matter how many times you ask for proof, they are unable to provide proof of any abuse.
This scamming website to keep on open account and pay them monthly,even after they have removed your account. fraudsters.

I met my husband on singleMuslim.com and we have been happily married for nearly a year with a new addition on the way very soon Alhamdulilah :) out of all the apps I have used, this was the only one that actually found me someone serious! Good luck in your search and my advice is to be patient as you will always encounter time wasters

I wish I could give a 0 or negative star here.This site is run by bunch of con artists, to extract money from men.If they get hold of your money, then forget about it.

MEN BEWARE,this is con site,to extort money from men.Only men pay on this site,not women.they will block you anytime,without giving reason, and they will not refund your money.

Please stay away from this app waste of time and money. So many bots on there I also have screenshots of somehow having received messages from the future. I had many prospects on muzmatch and literally 1 on single Muslim in 3 months

I *have* been looking in to taking legal action against singlemuslim. I've seen reviews on here similar to mine for example the 'whole blocking users and then these same users that are blocked -WERE still being able to visit a blocked profile'. When i would complain about that to custimer service that vile response was"theres nothing we can do".
They like, someonelse said have no call options like muzmatch (Thank God which seems to have better customer service God willingly and a safer app).

I've had to share my mobile phone number online- but thank GOD got a pay as you go one. I've reported 2 people to the police/crimestoppers . I was sent horrible messages by someone from their app on whatsapp- singlemuslim customerservice then told me I shouldnt of "taken communication off their app" lol like seriously how was I supposed to know men on their app were vile/horrible or God forbid psycho and worse! Like I mentioned no call feature like muzmatch or safer options.

Stay away from this app they do not care or do much about women's safety. I have reported so many users users- yet had nothing but unhelpful emails from customer service then when I suggested I can help better their app **they suspended my account- they know theres a serious issue with safety issue-they do not care. I chose to not get it activated again- why on earth would I? Vile app.

It's all about the money to them. That's all.
I have tons of email as proof, I'm hoping something can come out of me brining this to further investigation wetber its police or legal.
******I forgot to mention in my original review*** how customer service would REPEATEDLY ask me to send them the crime refernece number!
As if I hadn't actually reported one of their members to the police! They're so disgusting they used the words "We have not been contacted by the police". Such a haughty tone, I didn't realise then that what was sreally going on I do now.

Absolutely abhorrent behaviour, to trwat or allow anyone be treated as they've have done. I've reached out for help to them -way *too many* times. For them to not act -> showed me they do not care how the men on their app treat women nor our safety- God willingly it will stop.

It's been a while since I've used an app since this all happened 22 November- I do feel really horrible about all this- but had I not seen whats going on God knows what would of happened. It was the constant barrage of horrible men on the app then the whole customer support never helping ever.
It's taken a toll on me.

Anyone who wanted to cancel their account but couldnt you need to contact action fraud- Google their number. Get your money back.
Keep reporting this app on Google play store or apple store, don't let them get away with what they've doing.

They’ve blatantly got non-Muslims registering on their site & this is somehow acceptable ! Like seriously ? Hindus with red/yellow dots on their heads casually checking out all the Muslim women on the site 🤦🏻‍♀️ Can’t say it’s a very Islamic site in the first place or that there’s many practising Muslims on there but this is just beyond acceptable! Hindus ?? Names like Vishal Sangha ??? These Yorkshire Pakistani site directors would obvs do anything for money ! I’m out - leaving this disgusting unIslamic site !!!

Ok firstly it's great that it's free for women. However there is no option to voice or video call, you cannot get to know someone via messaging, so then you have no choice but to exchange phone numbers or social media. My biggest problem with this app is that even though you block someone, they can still view your profile which I find is disgusting and like stalking and God knows why they keep watching your photos. I have chosen to keep my photos public for obvious reasons like you have better chance to finding someone. When I complained to them they told me to hide my photos which is nonsense why should I lessen my chance because these creeps keep stalking me. They really need to do something regarding this!

Do not waste your time, the sites has fake profiles and when your subscription is about to expire, they send u a message posing to be someone looking to get to know you, when you renew your subscription, the messages stop, all fake. Don't waste your money.

they are claiming to have removed old profiles total rubbish not true there is no way as to know how long the profile has been active or in active they are calling them selfs halal should be call harram how can there income be halal when they lie to you and have fake and old profiles . misleading muslims

Everything requires approval. Any change I make puts my profile into 'Pending Approval' and no one can see anything - I've still not been approved yet. I'd like a refund to my 3 month subscription please. Gonna have to try alternative apps.

UPDATE: Seems to be working now. Quite a lot of strange profiles, duplicate profiles, etc. but there's also been a couple of genuine ones so I am hopeful maybe this will lead somewhere - thank you!

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star, horrific experience. I am a mixed race 30 year old female. I’m often told I’m good looking, I’m a mix of Pakistani, Italian and British genes (they worked very well together lol). This resulted in a barrage of messages from all sorts of males. The sad thing is they don’t read your profile, they just see the pic and start being inappropriate. This site is definitely not for anyone looking for marriage. I would say it’s a place for people to act sleazy under the disguise of wanting marriage. You will be faced with people demanding marriage there and then, invites to hotels, offered money, and just inappropriate conversation. I would have screenshot these messages but at 24 hours (150+ direct messages later) my account was suspended. The website claimed they didn’t believe my identity and wanted proof. I explained to them I am happy to do so if they can provide a reasonable explanation as to why they think it’s not genuine. I also highlighted I found it strange considering the experiences I had (basically explained all the above points). They responded with a generic non-relevant response and glossed over all the negatives I highlighted. I personally believe it is due to the fact that I have a western name, I told them my name is real and it’s because I’m mixed race. They don’t care.

I even told them about a male I had to report, due to how aggressive and rude he was to me. They completely ignored that. I had sent them a copy and paste of the messages and they don’t care. The man was demanding I marry him, and demanding I be nice to him because he is the man in the marriage, the man was over 10 years older than me and told me I was old so I should be thankful for his proposal. I know in the Muslim communities many see women over 25 as ancient, but times are changing. Women are independent and strong and can choose what age they get married at. So I don’t agree 30 is too old, but unfortunately some men on this site will use that against you and try to guilt trip you into marriage. They also justify their actions by claiming it’s an Islamic site and Islam permits their thoughts and behaviours. The Islam I know teaches us the value and importance of women, and promotes equal rights for women. Culture on the other hand is a different story.

So basically if you’re a female and serious about looking to court and get married STAY AWAY from this site. I’ve only given a brief overview of my 24 hour experience, there was a lot more. Save yourself the headache.

This was my first online marriage service experience, and if I’m being honest I think I would have had to deal with less sleaziness on Tinder. Maybe that’s where I need to be.

Do not recommend, it’s not for people that are serious about marriage. Sleazy behaviour is accepted and a norm on this website. If you report someone (as in a male) the website will suspend your account (the female) because men seem to be superior on that website.

Hope this helps you ladies that are serious about marriage.

Great service. Met my other half through the recommendations and now alhumdulilah I'm getting married. The team has helped and supported my through my journey and couldn't thank them enough highly recommended. Hope this it all goes well for those using this service as it has been for myself.
