Hubby is a fall risk
Hubby is a fall risk. He fell during the night. Had it not been for the medical alert button around his neck, he would have laid on the floor for a long time. He pushed the alert button and immediately the alarm sounded. I was able to communicate effectively with the dispatcher who offered to make the call to my son for help for me. Very professional and quick to come to our rescue.

The first system I got for the landline did not work. I was forced to get a more expensive one. The phone line works perfectly. I use it every day. People call me and I call them.

Thank you for taking a moment to share your experience. After looking over your account, the reason why the first system did not work is because your landline phone service appears to be out of order. When trying to call you, a message states, "You have reached a non-working number."
As a company with no long-term contract, you have the option to cancel by returning the equipment. We appreciate you continuing with our service, but I do not want you to feel as if we "forced" the system onto you. It's simply the only option that will work if your home phone service is unreliable.
I hope this message finds you well and helps others who read it get a better understanding as to why we recommend systems that do not require a landline connection.

I live in an area where I DO NOT have cell service and with a phone I was able to find a system I could use with my land line. I only have coverage in my home but am thankful for that.

Do not pay extra for the fall detection because it doesn’t work
I thought that it was odd that I have the fall detection and today I fell 3 times all within 2 to 3 feet of the device and evidently they did not realize that I had fallen because nobody asked me if I was OK. And I’m paying $10 for that? That and plus it says the date of my experience was September 25, 2024 and that is not correct because I just got the vibe device three days ago and today is October 3, 2024. Something is smelling a little fishy.

Hi Majorie,
I'm sorry to hear the fall detect button did not active when you fell. When the help button detects a motion that may be a fall, it will also detect motion afterwards to reduce false alarms, for instance, if someone dropped it but then picked it right back up. We always recommend pressing the button if you're able to, even if it has an automatic fall detect feature.
Regarding the experience on September 25th - The review request email you received was asking to rate your experience with our customer service team at the time of ordering. The date was referring to the end of September when you placed the order with us.
I understand if you don't feel like you're getting the full value from our service. You should still have the (press every time) help button that came with your original order before changing to the automatic fall detect button. If you prefer to use it again, please call customer service and we can help you send back the automatic fall detect button and change your plan.

Always responded promptly when button…
Always responded promptly when button was used (several occasions), contacted EMS quickly, and followed up with family notifications. Exactly what we wanted and needed for our Mom. Working through customer service also went smoothly. Actually having a human being to talk to with good communication skills is a rarity now so it is a good exception.
