Excellent service and delivery of composite worktops. We live down a narrow track in the middle of nowhere in Wales but our driver wasn’t fazed! Very helpful with unloading. Would highly recommend. Good customer service.

Chelsea is a star!! She has answered many of my questions quickly and very helpfully. Upon order of my decking planks the delivery was perfect with their driver very helpful and polite. Needed a change of decking clips which was sent FOC! and promptly. The finished deck is exactly what I was hoping for! Easy to lay down and fix, fully recommend Savoy - the have been brilliant!

Placed an order with this company recently for some value decking. I couldn't fault the price or the service I received,from ordering to the actual delivery. I got a phone call and an email stating my delivery date and the night before my delivery I got a phone call from the delivery driver (CARL) giving me a rough eta. Then on the delivery day I got another call to say he was 5 mins away, couldn't fault him at all. Great service throught

The decking was just right, set the garden off lovely. The company (Chelsea) has been brilliant from the first correspondance. The delivery driver was friendly and helpful. Only criticism would be he was a lone driver with a fairly large consignment, if I wasn't there to assist it would have been heavy work for one man.

Carl from wigan store was amazing. Helped with the decking and was very friendly. The man deserves a raise for his customer service.

Disappointed with Savoy on this occasion, normally they get it right. I ordered the deluxe timber decking for home delivery in 3m lengths. Some were 3m some were 2.9m, believe it or not some were 2.7m.

60% of the planks were split down the middle with obvious cosmetic damage. All of the planks had been rough sawn cutt (not even straight) almost as if it was done by a hand saw and were off Cutts to be sold as damaged wood. The wood was so wet it took 2 month's to dry to a reasonable standard in my hallway. I can only suggest the decking was sat in the yard for a couple of months open to the elements. There is no way that the wood is treated or slow kiln dried.

Online specified 3-5 days delivery, called Wigan to check and then told 16 days. I repeated what the web had said (3-5 days), response from Wigan was, but your ringing to check, aren't you? I was ringing because I had seen reviews about not keeping to delivery times and I needed to book a joiner. Also, the Wigan team member I spoke to, could do with some customer service training. I called Preston branch to see if they could supply, but they said it would have to be Wigan who delivered the order. I went to a competitor as a result of this. Not a great experience and I wouldn't consider Savoy Timber for future orders or recommendations.

Ordered composite worktops and splashbacks from this company. Great price compared to local suppliers (Scotland). Arranged delicious to suit us. Had a few interactions with Chelsea and she went above and beyond to fulfill our requirements. Excellent customer service.

Love going to Savoy timber Blackpool. Always very well stocked. Staff extremely helpful. I was served by Alisha who seems to be very knowledgeable and gave me good advice on which products to use for my project

i made an online order for materials, The website stated 3 to 5 days delivery, i was sent an email with delivery of 10 days. I rang to change date and they said they arent working to website, i obviously kicked out and said i want to complain and cancel, they put me on hold for ages so i hung up. Then they went and cancelled my order without confirming with me. Absolutely rude customer services. I wont be going there in a hurry.

Absolute disgrace no customer service still waiting for fence panels ordered 6 weeks ago promised 3 week delivery. No response to emails no answering of phone been in personally once to check assured I would have update next day when manager was in still nothing. I would not buy from this company

Won’t be ordering from this company again, messed us about big time. They cannot answer the phone but will spend time sending emails. Ordered 11 treated timbers on 28th April, said delivery 3-5 days, then another email saying will be delivered on Bank holiday Monday between 8am and 6 pm. Bank holiday Monday came and went, no delivery, no contact from Wigan store as to why no delivery. Rang store several times during the day to get an approx time, phone never answered. Sent 8 emails between 6th and 8 th May, still not answering the phone. Rang sales office at 11.23 on 6th to be told wood is out of stock and it will be delivered Friday which was 4 days later. Not a good service. Very disappointed when a quick phone call could have saved all the frustration of having to keep chasing for answers. Won’t be ordering our decking from them after this poor service.

I dealt with Chelsea originally who was very professional and communicated everything clearly. Once my order was placed and accepted there was a short delay for delivery but nothing inconvenient or to set alarm bells ringing.
I received a call from the delivery driver himself the night before delivery was to be made and Carl was extremely professional and polite and nothing was too much trouble. What impressed me most was finding out that it was Carl's first day with the company. well done SAVOY TImber

Composite deck and all fixings came on time and went together well with a little care over measurement and cutting. Looked at 3 or 4 suppliers but what stood out with ST was the helpful office staff who were proactive helping me to buy the right parts in correct quantities. When I encountered an issue they sent extra parts with no quibble. First class. I will purchase again for another project.

I contacted Savoy requesting information on a non standard kit sized composite deck. From the first contact using their contacts page, I have had fantastic service with very prompt responses to questions. Quick delivery of the decking with everything I needed. Even once delivered and I had a question on installation, the help was there.

The worktops ordered were covered in black, thick dust and permanent black lines. Terrible condition and should not have left the warehouse in that unacceptable condition as it delayed our kitchen fitting. I have 2 stars instead of one as the company collected and refunded the following week. Disappointed as wanted to support an independent business.

Answer the dam phone, over three weeks I have waited for my order, I now have a delivery date that will make it 4 weeks of waiting and I need to change the date of delivery.
The order states 3 to 5 working days for delivery.
"Thank you for calling Savoy timber, our team are serving customers in the store right now but will be with you as soon as possible", call this number enough and you will go to sleep saying it over and over.
Also don't tell me you are busy with customers I have called around 20 times on Friday all through the day, 3 times this morning and I have even called the NATIONAL SALES TEAM 3 times and guess what? no one bothers answering there either.
Update.
Just got my order delivered 4 weeks after ordering it, 144 of Round Top 900mm Picket Fence Paling still not in stock.
Why are you selling timber you do not have?
Now this is a warning to anyone, you can go on their website and order as many of these as you want, I just did a dummy order for 200 and went to check out and I could have bought them.
What use are posts and cross members to make a fence when there are no pickets to fasten to it.
Like an idiot I ordered a oak architrave 5 days ago to collect, still not in stock even though you can buy it.
The lad delivering the part order said he gets this every single day and people try taking it out on him as they aren't as understanding as me.
This used to be a good company, it's a shadow of what it once was.
This is the Wigan branch by the way.
Also I have had to open a case with Paypal to get a partial refund of £253.44 for 144 Round Top 900mm Picket Fence Palings.
What use is the timber to make a fence without the Pailings? now I will have to source some pailings from elsewhere, what a waste of 4 weeks, still can't believe how they treat customers, will go to Ashton from now on.
