A member of staff by the name of Hollie went out of her way to help me today. She dropped what she was doing and helped me out by going to get what I needed and always with a smile.

The staff are great and very helpful...bought a diamond trellis and decking and was served by Tracy who was brilliant 👏

We had a delivery today of two deluxe decking kits, from the Wigan store. Our driver Carl was helpful and did a fantastic job helping getting all of the wood into our garden. He went above and beyond. Will use again if we need anymore timber. Thank you again.

Waited for ever to get served nobody in queue women on phone for 10 mins.

Ordered 2 timber decking kits, a 2.4x2.4 and a 4.8x2.4 for a project at home, making and L shape on the corner. Aims to put a shed and have a play area.
Wasn’t in a mega rush so the lead time wasn’t an issue, but I think it was maybe about 7-10 days from order to delivery, which came on a Sunday, 7days a week!
Carl was great, put up with my singing and I reckon loved a bit of Erasure too anyway.

Helped him get the stuff off the wagon.

A couple days later I started prep and assembly. Overall very good. The 4.8m kit was a bit bendy so initially was a bit of a challenge, but it’s relatively easy to bend them as you fix with the screws.

Looks great. Only knocked a star off because one of the 4.8m boards was weak where there were quite a lot of knots and snapped when I picked it up, and for some reason there wasn’t enough screws, needed 4 boxes not 3. Luckily I did have some decking screws from an earlier project.

Excellent service, the driver had to navigate a very tight lane to get to our property, which he did very professionally. He then off loaded 36 x 4.8 meter decking planks plus all the base frame, by hand. He stacked it all in sections so I could see every plank and ticked it off on the delivery invoice. Unfortunately two of the planks were damaged and had to be replaced, which after sending Chelsea a quick email were replaced promptly. All in all a very easy company to order from and deal with, and the decking kit looks amazing now that it is assembled. Thank you Savoy Timber. I will use and recommend again and again.

Ordered fencing panels from Wigan store. They were out of stock but had some at Blackpool . Could only do delivery following Wednesday which was a little inconvenient , however I received a call on the following Monday for a Tuesday delivery so I was back on schedule for my project. Timber delivered Tuesday afternoon by Carl who neatly stacked the posts. More than happy with Savoy, thanks

Turned up earlier than expected which was good.

Wigan store: I walked in the store Saturday with a sketch and vauge measurements. Ady, not only understood the sketch but within 30 minutes I was leaving with wood cut to size with pencil note on the pieces to ensure correct construction. You just couldn't ask for a better service.

Ordered and paid for decking over 2 weeks ago, over £700.00.
Given a delivery date of 12th June ‘25, waited all day, even rang to check. Didn’t arrive ! Rang this morning and was told it’s out for delivery before lunch time. Never arrived ! Made several phone calls and have just been told it’s not even in stock !!! They have had 2weeks to get stock or let us know.
2 days sat in waiting and they don’t even have it ! Awful service. Asked for refund to go elsewhere

They don’t deserve 1 star based on my recent experience, but it is the lowest rating I could give.
I ordered a couple of fence panels and some timber from ST in mid-April. The longest lead time quoted was 4 weeks. After this time, no delivery and no update from them as to when my order would be delivered. Since then I have contacted ST several times to get an updates as to when I would receive my order. Each time I got the same feeble answer : “It’s the suppliers’ fault. The order may be delivered on.... “. Only for this date to pass without a delivery. After three weeks of this I gave them an ultimatum: Deliver by 5pm on Saturday or the order is cancelled. No delivery so I cancelled the order. Very disappointed by the customer service: No offer to try to expedite the order with the supplier: No offer to deliver parts of my order that were available; No offer of a discount to offset the delay.
Had I known it would have been this bad I would have gone elsewhere in the first place.

Absolutely fuming with this company. 3 times promised delivery, never turned up. 2 days off work for nothing. Nobody answers the phone, I've called around 40 times without success. Avoid like the plague unless your collecting. Won't be using again once I get my stuff. Fuming fuming fuming
