Very disappointing! ordered a 3m x 3m decking base on line. Paid a premium of circa £60 for delivery, only for the base to turn up an item at a time and past the agreed timeline for delivery. The last item was delivered after i had completed the project. I ended up buying the timber from a local timber merchants to finish the frame.
I complained and despite all the inconvenience and premiums paid i was refunded only for the items that didn't turn up and was charged for the delivery of the parts that were dispatched. Its like eating at a restaurant where you send the food back but are charged for the 2 green beans and half a potato that you managed to eat. I won't be using Savoy timber again any time soon.

Awful service.
Absolutely zero customer service. Lost a days money waiting for a delivery. I called at lunchtime to confirm delivery. 8.15pm still no delivery. No phone call, emailed twice but they do not reply. Lorry arrived the next day at 6.30 am which I then had to unload myself.
If you are running a business please avoid this company.

Ordered 12 closed slatted fence panels paid upfront (2 weeks prior) and the day before they were due to be delivered they phoned and said , sorry we haven’t got those fence panels in .. they had two weeks to sort this out instead I’ve lost valuable time of work and a whole day wasted , maybe next time let your customers know way beforehand and not one day before to let them know you don’t have the stock in store .. now I’m waiting on near a £500 refund which can take anywhere up to 3-5 days .. shocking service

Lost 2 weeks waiting for a couple of doors, had to cancel and order elsewhere, fine we’ll cancel, not an explanation or apology, from a non named person just Savoy Timber,

Needed to change a delivery date after an order was placed, but could not get hold of the Wigan branch for love nor money. Called multiple times over multiple days, nor did we receive any response to the email sent.

We are so pleased with our new worktops. They fit perfectly and they look perfect. Great quality and a good finish. The delivery was hassle free and prompt. Will recomend. Thankyou

I have today looked on the savoy timber website and subsequently ordered some doors. I required expedited delivery for the doors as they require fitting this week. I read through the delivery and home delivery options finding an option for deliveries on orders made before 10.30, this option should be selected at checkout. If the delivery option isn't offered at checkout telephone for an express delivery quote. I completed the order and made a call to customer services. The call handler stated the company do not offer an express delivery, he didn't know why I thought they did. I explained it was on the web site reply "no it isn't " a little argument followed regarding lead times. I then took him through the website page by page to where it does state it reply " oh, we don't do that on doors"
I pointed out that it was misleading he replied " no its not" . I informed him that his attitude as a customer service agent was not very good he replied " yes it is" I asked for his name which he gave as Dave, the conversation went downhill from then and was terminated by him.
Please be aware all of the 6000 products are not avaliable as an express delivery option.
I have received a telephone call from Anthony who expressed his concerns over what had occurred. He has made an apology on behalf of the company and assured me the website will be looked at and corrected where necessary,which I was happy to accept.
I have had good previous experiences with this company and hope that this is a one off.

Bought new staircase items...very easy from order to purchase. Shout out to Simon who cut all the wood to size...very helpful.

I tried to order a sample but could not order it online so I contacted customer services via email and they said send the link of what you would like a sample of and we will get the supplier to send this, we sent the link on the 2nd Feb and never heard anything back so sent a further email on the 10th to ask for an update and again have not had a response.

Great experience from order to delivery.

I very much doubt I'll go anywhere else for my timber orders from now on, emails were answered promptly, a follow up phone call was friendly and efficient, and the cutting service was extremely high quality. To top it off, the delivery was first class. Not a single gripe from me. I ordered from the Wigan Branch.

Was looking for beading in the Talbot Road Branch Blackpool, and was served by Alisha and she went above and beyond to track down what I needed from other stores, an asset to the company.

We wanted a new slat for our garden bench. We found the staff were friendly and professional. They cut the piece of wood to the exact size we needed and it was an excellent price.

Delivered early, amazing service. Simon, The delivery driver went above and beyond i couldn't be happier

3 visits 3 bad experiences
1 ordered and paid for delivery. Got a call to say the old lady who served me had made a mistake and my order was now more expensive which l had to pay. What happened to mistakes cannot be rectified when you have left the shop
2 on another visit went to counter but you have to go to back of shop to try and catch someones eye floating around to see if they have it in? Then you go back to counter to pay. How about a conputer system that updates stock? You can be stood at back near cutting part for 10 minutes before being acknowledged
3 endured the ignorant gossiping women on till until one condesended to serve me. Paid for delivery which is any time between 8am and 5pm and £15.00 although l am a minute away
It did come but minus main part of delivery!!
Got carpenter coming tomorrow. Hes been booked for 12 weeks and wont be able to complete job

Always shop at the wigan branch, nothing is too much trouble, I went in with quite a big list of measurements for them to cut for me the guy who cuts the wood was happy to help with a smile on his face, 100% customer service. Thank you

We had one of our interior doors replaced with a made-to-measure bifolding door. The online ordering process was very easy and we were kept informed of the delivery date and timeframe. The delivery driver was polite and very helpful.

Ordered a bifold internal door for my bathroom from Savoy Timber as they were the only ones I found that would do custom size at a decent price. Paid around £200 for a product that was dented and flimsy, the mechanism provided is the cheapest and the doors have a huge gap in the middle offering no privacy. They don't stay in place as there is only 1 pivot at the top that has no proper spring stoppers nor bottom pivot. The doors have literal cardboard inside. Such a disappointment and waste of money!
