SANDS - LUXURY PERSONAL SHOPPING 

I ordered a pair of Hermes Sandles for my brother’s birthday and was told it will arrive between 4-7 working days and thats why I ordered it to arrive on his special birthday

till today way past the 4-7 working days i havent received any update that the package has even been shipped and when I ask for updates they say I will receive notification via email if there are any.

Its several days past his birthday and I was unable to gift him at his party which was humiliating.

do not give unrealistic timelines to ur customers ! And let them know if there are any difficulties or delays! we should be notified of the delays and why to decide what we want to do!

Unbelievable

It has been weeks and i still have not received my item. I placed my orders within the current economic circumstances and dynamic, knowingly they still proceeded with taking my order and promised me timelines that they did not meet. I was a regular client up until this point. It is an honest shame what their customer service has also become. They have asked for a final extension of a week and i will give that to them, then i will look into ways of refund. I hope this post gets noticed by senior management and they can react before losing valuable clients.

I recently made a purchase from their website based on their advise on the size guide. I double checked and triple checked via WhatsApp as it didn't seem quite right to me and I was ressured that it was the correct size. When the item was shipped I received no tracking number or anything and it just shows up and lo and behold, ITS THE WRONG SIZE. I reached out fuming because I've spent a lot of money on an item that's way too big for me to wear and they told me no refunds or exchanges, EVEN THOUGH ITS THEIR FAULT. I did the back and forth and they are not trying to take responsibility, even went as far as offering me AED 150 credit on something that cost 1K GBP but wouldn't refund or even exchange to the correct size. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Go to the store. It's not worth trying to save a bit of money.

I don't plan on letting this go. Extremely unprofessional and joke of a company. You say you value your customers but no evidence whatsoever, throughout the entire process.

I was promised a 10 days delivery. A month has passed and I still don’t have a clear expected delivery date.
I have a really concerning communication with my SA. I was so grateful she sourced the item for me however, after the confirmation she doesn’t respond promptly unless I write her multiple times! She leaves me on read, and currently my messages are not received from her side.

Scammers!!! Do not buy from this company!
My experience with Sands has been extremely frustrating from start to finish.
I placed an order trusting the information provided on the website that the product was available. After completing the purchase, I was informed that the item still needed to be sourced. After several days, I received another update stating that they were unable to find the product.
At that point, they confirmed that a refund would be issued, and informed me that it would take up to 20 days for the amount to reflect in my account.
However, that timeframe has already passed — and to this day, no refund has been received.
So not only was the product never delivered, but the company also failed to honor the refund timeline they themselves provided.
This situation clearly reflects:
• Poor stock management
• Inconsistent and misleading communication
• And most importantly, a lack of respect for the customer, who is left without both the product and the money
It is unacceptable for customers to bear the consequences of a company’s internal failures.
Unfortunately, I do not recommend Sands. I expected a much higher level of professionalism.

My item is delayed and now body getting in touch with me

I purchased a goyard bag , which was delivered to me exactly 7 days , the purchase with the personal shopper was very smooth and kind, they answer your emails all the time and also they call to confirm with you if you want to ask about your product, they answer fast and the process overall is very smooth , i am very happy with SANDS!

Update #6 – Still No Refund (SANDS UAE)

I am continuing to document my experience so that potential customers can review the full situation and make an informed decision.

Had I seen similar documented experiences beforehand, I would not have placed this order and would not now be spending ongoing time attempting to recover 11,360 AED paid for a Chanel hat that ultimately proved to be unavailable.

The item was confirmed as available before purchase, payment was taken, and the order was later cancelled by SANDS UAE when it became clear the item was not in stock.

Despite this, I am still chasing the return of my funds.

Even if one assumes situations like this may occasionally occur in retail, a reasonable expectation would be that payment is returned promptly once an order cannot be fulfilled. In my case, that has not happened.

So the question for potential customers is simple:
even if there were only a small chance of experiencing a situation like this, would you feel comfortable paying in advance to a company where you may need to spend weeks pursuing a refund?
