I would give a half star if it was possible.I have rented out a car for a month .The car has had all sort of issues including the battery draining within two days.it stopped in the middle of the road.when I called the costomer support they recommend to visit near by Hyundai showroom.Basically the technical team knows nothing.if you do not want to waste your money please stay away from this company
Revv car experience, be warned!!!
We had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with Revv Cars. We had booked a Swift Dzire 2023 model well in advance for an early morning departure, but shockingly, the vehicle was only delivered in the *afternoon* on the very same day, completely derailing our travel plans. This delay not only caused a major inconvenience but also forced us to reschedule our itinerary at the last minute.
When the car finally arrived, it was in a shockingly poor condition, nowhere near what one would expect from a 2023 model. It looked like it had been through years of abuse. The exterior was riddled with scratches, dings, and poorly done paint touch-ups that gave it a dull, matte finish instead of a proper glossy shine. It was evident that zero effort had been made to present a clean or well-maintained vehicle.
The moment we started the engine, we were alarmed. The engine produced a strange rattling noise, and the silencer made loud, obnoxious sounds almost like a sports car, completely out of place for a Dzire. There were frequent engine misfires that made us question whether the vehicle was even roadworthy.
To make matters worse, the car did not have an HSRP (High-Security Registration Plate), and upon being stopped by traffic authorities at the state border, we were slapped with fines for both the missing number plate and lack of proper insurance documents. When we contacted Revv about this, but no one bothers to answer the call as it was after 6PM, even some mobile numbers which we had of the people who were calling us repeatedly earlier for payments and documents refused to answer the call. And when one guy finally answered after multiple calls, he said he would provide contact details of the concerned person but then did not share the details and also stopped responding to calls, at 12 mid night he sends the contact persons details which is after 6 hours. Weee they expecting me to wait in the state border check post for 6 hours? I took this screenshot and mailed all the details to Revv after returning from the trip but they flat-out *refused* to reimburse the penalties, even though it was clearly their fault for providing a non-compliant vehicle.
Inside, the car was equally neglected. Apart from the dents and scratches all around, the interior was damaged, including a noticeable *hole* on the steering wheel where a control button should have been. It was clear the car had been mishandled and not maintained to any basic standard.
Upon returning the vehicle, things only got worse. Revv accused *us* of causing the pre-existing chips and dents, and slapped us with an *inflated bill* for damages we did not cause. Thankfully, we had made a detailed video during the delivery process, with the delivery driver present and acknowledging the car’s poor condition, a move that ultimately protected us.
Despite having solid proof, we were met with harassment, including threatening emails and long accusatory messages. When I stood my ground and provided the video evidence, they finally backed off. But even after all of this, they *never returned our security deposit*. No explanation, no justification, just silence.
This entire ordeal was a nightmare. I would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious before booking a vehicle with Revv. Their customer service is unresponsive, their vehicles are poorly maintained, and they make no effort to resolve issues even when they are clearly at fault.

worst company and i would go extra mile and say they are scammesters took away deposit , gave wrong cars than committed , incompetent staff to reslove issues. cars conditions also not worth it top of it one of the car has red ants and insects in spite of hundreds of request they have never bother to change the car. Scammers are now refusing to give our deposit as well.

I’ve been a loyal Revv customer for over 3-4 years across multiple cities, but this recent experience has completely shattered my trust. After my last trip ended 20 days ago, I’m still waiting for my security deposit refund — and the worst part? No communication, no update, not even a courtesy message or email explaining the delay.
Every time I called their customer service, I was taken on a cycle of lies and false promises. It’s always the same story:
“We apologize, we didn’t know this was pending. Our manager will call you back in 5-10 minutes… you’ll definitely get a call by EOD.”
Guess what? No call. No refund.
After repeated follow-ups, they eventually started lying outright, claiming that the refund had already been processed — but there’s no trace of it in my account.
Here are the names of the reps I spoke with:
• Aviral Singh
• Harsh Dixit
• Suvankar Boity – blatantly lied that the refund was processed
• Madhu Singh – promised to escalate the issue and asked me not to call back. Really? My money is stuck and I shouldn’t call?
This isn’t just poor service — it feels like a scam. For a company like Revv to hold onto customers’ security deposits with no resolution or accountability is unacceptable and unethical.
If you’re considering using Revv, think twice — unless you’re okay with your security deposit being held hostage with no recourse. Extremely disappointing from a brand I once trusted.

Very poor experience with Revv car.. not at all recommended in Mumbai atleast.their service provided in Mumbai will not answer your call after the payment is made and will report the customer did not answer his call.. so please take care.. they will block your number too..

not reliable at all their sales representatives will take no responsibility.. they will mention clearly booking was your decision.. so definitely a BIG NO to REV car in Mumbai. Last minute I had to book with Zoom at additional 10k and Revv car does not provide any compensation for cancellation of my booking, I was told that their system had glitched in Mumbai..all they could do is refund my booking money and apologize.. so please book at your own risk with Revv car.

the worst platform ever to rent or subscribe a car. pre follow ups for order is rigorous and post is they don't value anything. sales person commits so much during pre order and vanishes once the booking is done zero response. and customer care ms.shashi she talks to you in a way as if she haven't slept for many years in that lame tone and she speaks as if i owe her anything. would never recommend this to any of my friends or colleagues. After paying when asked about the time of delivery that too after multiple calls to custimer care and sales person didnot respond to calls or whatsapps, her answer was sir we can't commit on when we can give you the car the blame was pushed on service people

Bad experience and poor car
I booked RE V earlier, and they used to be good. My recent Visit car was in pathetic condition. Seats were ton outside exterior was damaged. The engine was not performing well. There was an issue with the clutch plate. The car even broke down and did not get good support. On top, they deducted 50% of the deposit, making some false claims to avoid them.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER – A NIGHTMARE CALLED REVV!
Booked Car: XUV300 (later replaced with a 2019 Maruti Swift)
Rental Period: May 1–7, 2025
If I could rate this company in the negative, I would. This was not just a terrible service—it was a full-blown disaster that ruined our trip, cost us a ton of money, and put our lives in danger.
Let me break it down:
1. Booking Failure & Last-Minute Scam:
We booked an XUV300 for our trip to Ooty well in advance. To travel there, we needed an e-pass which requires the car’s registration number. Despite repeated follow-ups, Revv kept refusing to provide it until the last moment. Then, on April 30th—one day before our trip—they suddenly say, “Oops, we can’t give you the car unless you pay more for a different one.” Classic bait and switch. We had no choice but to accept a 2019 Maruti Swift, available only from May 2nd. We lost our hotel booking for May 1st in Mysore—money gone.
2. Late Delivery, Broken Promises:
The car was scheduled to be delivered at 10 AM. It showed up at 2 PM. I specifically asked if it was in good condition. They reassured us—but they LIED.
3. Car Breakdown in the Mountains at NIGHT:
At 9:30 PM on May 2nd, while driving in the mountains, the engine started lagging, and then smoke began coming out. We were stranded in a dangerous, isolated area with wild animals around. No network, no help. We tried to reach “24/7 customer support,” but guess what? THEY DON'T ANSWER AFTER 7 PM. Total fraud.
We were left to depend on kind locals and managed to walk 7 km to Ooty. We finally got in touch with the delivery guy who casually asked us to “leave the car and send pictures.” Seriously?
4. Revv Did NOTHING:
The next day, we demanded a replacement. They refused. We had no vehicle for our trip and had to explore Ooty using taxis, spending ₹3000. Then we had to book a bus to get back to Bangalore for another ₹4000. The broken car just sat there until they finally towed it 2 days later, on May 4th.
5. Cost of Their Incompetence:
• Revv rental: ₹14,290
• Fuel: ₹2,838
• Lost hotel in Mysore: ₹2,000
• Taxi + bus due to breakdown: ₹7,000
Total damage to us: ₹26,128
...and now Revv has the audacity to send us a fake damage bill for ₹20,000, claiming undercarriage damage—which we had nothing to do with. Even worse, their policy clearly states the max liability is ₹10,000.
6. Fraudsters, Not a Company:
They refuse to refund anything. Their car broke down within 3-4 hours of use, yet they kept the full payment, ruined our trip, endangered our lives, and are now extorting us for damage we didn’t cause.
We are left with no option but to lodge a formal complaint and pursue legal action.
Revv is a scam, a liability, and a disaster waiting to happen. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Revv is highly unprofessional company
I booked self driven car for 4 days from 15th to 18th of may 2025 in Goa. I was supposed to pick up car at Dabolim airport. The driver called me first outside the exit gate of airport premises. Once I reached there, he called me to come further 300-400. I reached there dragging my luggage. I asked why he coundnt come cloure to the exit of airport premises where many other people were taking their cars. The driver misbehaved and responded very rudely saying I can leave the car if I wish. I was left with no option but to look for alternative transport. This was informed to REVV team but they flately refused to return the advance paid at the time of booking. They handled the situation in the most unprofessional manner. Avoid taking any services from this cheat company.
Attempted extortion after giving back the car
I booked a car on a Tuesday 2pm, the car was still not here at 5pmso I called to move the booking 2 days forward, which they agreed after 10 minutes of arguing.
On Thursday, the car was on time, the tank was empty, blinking petrol indicator, and the range indicator showed 52km, which is a flat estimation.
I brought back the car but this range indicator never went up. On the contrary it went to 0, then --- .
Of course they took back the car and tried to extort me money because the number was no mote 53. The conversation went sour and I left the people with their car.
I'm shocked how unprofessional they were firstly and how they tried to con me then
I thought it's because I'm a tourist but I read a lot of negative experiences, they're very dishonest.

Worst ever services from REVV the very first person we spoke to and get quotes and ask to get to have a car delivery next day then at first said yes can give later on started changing statements and at the end said can’t give you that car and you have to select another one and then quoted with someone else and he said the car is available and can be delivered Tuesday which is today and quoted price of more than what I was offered and ask for documents of licence in whose name car is to be allocated and residents proof of address. However was told that we will get a time by delivery team at what time delivery of car will be given though we preferred to have morning slots and later on no follow ups by team or any of revv team members we upfrontly had to call every now and then and ask for status still was informed of 8 am to 10 am. I am sure CAR DEKHO IS WATCHING ALL SUCH REVIEWS BY THE TEAM IN AHMEDABAD WHO IS GETTING PAID FOR NOTHING AND THEY HAVE A VERY RUDE ATTITUDE TOWARDS THEIR CLIENTS WHICH IS NO GOOD AT ALL. The GUY WHO CAME PRAKASH DOESN’T HAD A SENSE OF TALKING. The guy in the team I spoke to LAKSH SHARMA said can’t give you a proper time and disconnected the call over a WhatsApp and said will cancel the order and refund the deposit. I was promised of DELTA MODEL 2024 and been given sigma model jan 2025 and has taken money out of my pocket already and told the team about this and now they changed the statements stating that sir we can’t guarantee anything and whatever was available we have given to you. Also, ground team doesn’t know what customer service team is doing and customer service team doesn’t know what ground team is doing. Every other person is blaming each other and they do not know what their job role is? After taking money out of my pocket every other person is changing their statement and saying we can’t do anything now. I have taken a one month subscription and they do not have a courtesy to follow up and do not even care about its customers. I would be taking this to legal advice and will be filing a case as well. Moreover my brother took car on his name and they took my documents for no reason and wasted a lot of time almost an hour and half to get a car and took my photo with a car and took my documents for no reason and when asked why they said companies policy but there is no as such company policy of giving other person who has came along to take their documents and which is illegal I did not give my consent to them and PRAKASH THE GUY TOOK DOCUMENTS. We travelled 130 kms to get a car and wasted so much time that I was bound to give my documents thinking we do not want to waste much more time and these people were blaming on each other and taking piss on me. I did came a long way and this is such a rediculous experience from REVV I WOULD NOT I REPEAT I WOULD NOT EVER EVER IN MY LIFE REFER REVV TO ANYONE ESPECIALLY WHO IS COMING FROM ABROAD watch this review of mine before going to this people.
It's a well planned executed scam
It's a well planned executed scam. First they will ask your contact number through the app. Then a guy ( for me named Vedaant ) will contact you. Say some sweet words and gets a deposit of 5000 from you and it's gone forever even if you cancel the booking. And the positive reviews all in playstore are a real fake created by themselves by creating random Email Ids.Please don't get scammed.

I had a subscription from 20th of March 2025 for 15 days period. Firstly, the car provided was not worth the money.
Moving on, I returned the car on the 14th day before the actual end of Tenure and the car had more fuel in the tank compared to when it was handed over to me. I was promised before booking that the extra fuel prices will be reimbursed. It says so in ONE OF their FAQ pages (revv(dot)co(dot)in/faq) under the question "Do I get any reimbursement for the fuel I fill in my Revv car?" and when the invoice was sent in after returning the car, they conveniently share another FAQ page (revv(dot)co(dot)in/open/delhi-ncr/faq) where it says otherwise. They have misleading information on the webpage just to deliberately rip their customers off.
On top of that, just enquiring how the subscription works was followed by more than 30 calls from 7 different executives forcing me and my friends to make the booking but once the booking was done, customer meant absolutely nothing. I am going to make sure to go out of my way to spread news about their bullshit business model.
The webpages are cited on 16.04.2025 and they will very well change the information there soon. I however have screenshots and pdfs of the site with the date. I am currently looking at my legal options to make sure these guys do not rip others off in the future.
