We purchased the Hydro+ Hydrogen Water Ioniser Reverse Osmosis Filtration System for €1,480 in April 2025.

This has been, without question, the worst experience we have ever had with a so-called premium product.

Only a couple of months after installation, the system began malfunctioning, and we had to contact Renewell Water to try to resolve the issue. What followed was weeks of back-and-forth communication, video calls, videos showing the machine failure, and extended periods with no running water in our kitchen.

Eventually, a technician was sent to our home. We were told we would be compensated for all the bottled water we had to purchase for drinking, cooking, and basic household use. During this time, all of our dishes had to be carried upstairs and washed in the bath.

The technician did his best to repair the system, and initially it appeared fixed — but within an hour, the same fault returned. Once again, we were left without usable water and had to repeat the entire process of relying on bottled water for everything while waiting for further action.

After considerable insistence on our part — including making it clear that we did not want to keep the faulty unit — we were finally told that a replacement machine would be ordered. We were also assured that we would be compensated not only for the water we had to purchase, but also for the inconvenience, disappointment, and overall poor experience.

According to our WhatsApp records, the problems began on 11 July. By 22 July we had no water at all, and we did not receive a replacement machine until early September.

For a product marketed as premium, both the equipment and the after-sales service were completely unacceptable. Based on our experience, I would definitely not recommend Renewell for any high-value purchase.

Very happy with the product and service. Ordered on Tuesday, and it was fully installed on the Thursday - Dean did a fantastic job getting everything set up. Highly recommend.

As a long term customer, we were due a service and instead got an upgraded system for a very good price. The installation was flawless and looking forward to using it. Our previous model has been a gem, clear and good water enjoyed by ourselves, child and pet.

Love it. Had this installed recently in my kitchen. The unit is very quiet, flushes all the harmful stuff out of the water before I drink it. The installation was done by Dean, who was great. He explained in detail how to change the filters when they need it (one once a year the second every 2 years). The company will send me reminders when they are due. It's not often you find companies this efficient. The unit is under the sink and Dean put the filter tap in a great place which is really out of the way from anything going on in the sink. I feel really confident that I am drinking clean water, so bought some lemons and limes as well (these aren't included !!). Love this unit.

I recently had the ARkkZ water filter fitted. It was obvious that the fitter took pride in his work as the finished job was very neat and professionally done. the company are very customer focused . The water tastes great (whether that's the case 6 months down the line I don't know) but for now I am enjoying every glass!

Had the Arkzz Reverse Osmosis filter system by Renewell Water installed today by super technician Dovydas who was very informative re same. This is a very compact unit, fits under sink. Water tastes very good.

My experience with Renewell Water started off positively. The sales process was smooth, I was offered a good deal, and I was asked to send in videos of my sink area so they could confirm installation suitability. I was told everything was fine.
The first installation went well. The installer was tidy and professional. However, it was only at that point that I was told my sink setup would not allow for the separate filter tap I had expected. Instead, I would need to buy a triflow tap, something that had never been mentioned in advance despite me providing videos for assessment. It felt like an upsell, but I was given no real alternative if I wanted the system installed. Out of the two limited options offered, I chose the one most similar to my existing tap.
When the triflow was fitted at the second installation, my partner immediately raised concerns about it being extremely wobbly, but the installer dismissed this as “normal.” The next day I called to report the same issue, along with the fact that once I could actually use the tap, it was clear the design was impractical for my sink setup. Instead of a genuine discussion, I was repeatedly told “as per our terms and conditions, we can’t take the tap back.”
A third technician later admitted that the previous installer had done the job incorrectly and had not used the extra parts available to stabilise the tap. He fixed the workmanship, but by then my confidence was gone. I suggested paying for everything except the tap until a fair resolution was found, even suggested that likely I would be ok with it after a few days of use, but I was told I either had to pay in full or have all equipment removed, leaving me with a dismantled sink. Unfortunately, I had to leave urgently for a vet appointment, and under pressure, I paid in full.
Now I am left with a product I didn’t really want, which I was not properly informed about in advance, and which doesn’t suit my needs, a con essentially. I had been happy to recommend Renewell after the first installation, but after this experience I cannot. I have since escalated my complaint to the CCPC (Competition and Consumer Protection Commission) and will be pursuing it further. I hope Renewell changes how they handle customer concerns in future, because my experience went from excellent at the start to deeply disappointing in the end.

We have had the appliance for a few weeks now, and the difference it has made is indescribable. The water is amazing, the product works very well and props to the installer Dan who was world class.

Excellent from start to finish, efficient and helpful sales person, not a pit pushy. Unit installed within a week of ordering, at the specified time, by a very competent, friendly and experienced technician. Delighted with it ever since, would 100% recommend.
