Ongoing problems with Reassure
My trust fund was transferred from L&G to Reassure 6 years ago and every year Reassure gets worse. A few months ago I noticed on the Portal that both my Trustees were down under Reassure company address. I was told this was because they didn't have their addresses which is incorrect. My address was ok. One of my Trustees then received a letter (to their correct address!) saying Reassure didn't have their signature? There was no mention to me of missing signatures.
Now, I can't access my Portal as, apparently it doesn't support my type of investment. Sometimes I can access my Portal, but mostly, I can't, currently, I can't, because apparently it doesn't support my investment.
Now, I can only contact Reassure by phone. They don't send yearly updates so Portal is the only way I can keep track of growth.
I lodged a complaint about 3 years ago and received compensation, I would rather have a professional company that can answer my queries than monetary recompense.

Fast, efficient and very friendly service. When I telephoned, I got through straight away. The member of the team was very helpful and explained everything in 'layman's terms'. This made it easy to understand when pension jargon is a bit of a minefield. He was probably one of the nicest person that I have ever spoke to when dealing with companies customer services.

I wanted to sell a bond which is held in trust . This started in early February and is still ongoing . I have supplied the right documentation according to both my solicitor and my accountant . The trust was set up in my mother’s will. This company have been absolutely useless , they have paid me compensation for the poor service but that was in March 2026 , since then they have gone from bad to diplorable , we had a similar bond with another well known company and they took four weeks . Even when you supply documents to them they can only take one at a time bearing in mind they take weeks to acknowledge in writing to say they have recieved it and their latest response to the documents supplied . The managing director must be so proud to be head man of such a pi?. Poor outfit .
I raised a complaint and that still has not be investigated after 5 weeks .
The bond was to pay for my father’s care home fees but sadly he passed last Friday . I’m dreading telling this crappy company as I will be lucky to see the money before my own death. My advice is steer well clear if you want a Stress free life . I’m so angry I feel like getting someone from the press to follow me to their main headquarters and they can film me stripping off and chaining my self to any object in the main foyer .
Mark Townsend , Laura Benton , Matthew Donaldson what the hell is going on in your company . If I was you I’d move to a decent financial institution, here is a list of companies I’ve used regarding the trust who have been superb. Barclays , Santander , Aviva and Equiniti
Your company has increased my stress levels , you have no bereavement department , you can’t to talk directly to the person dealing with my bond sale .

Disgraceful Service
My husband is trying to get a Standalone lump sum from his pension. The process started on 19th May, and to date we are no further along, even though we had been told it would go in by today. We waited another ten days and now apparently we need to fill in another form, which has not even been sent. It is absolutely disgraceful and feel like they are stalling to pay us. I have already said if this is not sorted out by the end of this week commencing 22nd June, I will be reporting them to the Ombudsman. I put the date of experience as May, as this was the first time of dealing with them. When you ring you go through a customer service department, but cannot actually get to speak to those who are supposed to be dealing with it. If I could have given zero stars I would have.

Ellenor confirmed that you ( Reassure ) had received the submisssion which I sent by post.
Note - your original letter sending me the form to fill in, did not state an address of where to send the submission - Not helpful .
Generally Reassure comes across as difficult to contact and unhelpful unproactive in keeping a customer aware of progress on a matter. Please rethink how you relate to customers , to our benefit and to yours. Be more visible , accessible, less ivory tower.
