Disappointed service
So i took out car insurance with the Rac
Added my wife to the policy declared that she had an accident in 2025 which i thought was no fault turned out it was at fault the insurance rose to £151 when I phoned customer service to inquire if I could take my wife off the insurance it rose even higher to £197 which made over £480 for the year.
I have over 9 years no claims also passed my advanced driving test and have Rac breakdown very disappointed so cancelled.

I am 85 years of age and experience…
I am 85 years of age and experience driver holding the license for 55 years. The cover with RAC includes the breakdown services which made me to terminate 48 years of loyalty with AA.
Judging from the information I submitted I hope it would help to determine the future premiums on renewal.

Automatic renewal whilst in hospital
I was pleased (this time) that my car insurance was renewed automatically. I have been hospitalised for two months after surviving a tragedy which took the life of my partner Theresa Wheelhouse, we made national news. I have yet to gain access to all my accounts and hope this one has not gone up too much. I have lost one of our cars - including a personal number plate - because of my partners death, but thankfully this car is safe.
