Disgusting company who scammed my father of £160. Paid through paypal but case ongoing.

Customer service as expected is awful. Websites like this shouldn’t exist

I ordered 2 pairs of these Primafocus glasses because I'm disabled. I can't lift my neck and can't put my head into the contraptions that let the doctor check my eyes.
The Primafocus glasses look positively awful. The lens are cheap looking and made of flimsy plastic that makes a horrible sound while turning the knobs.
Everything was still blurry. The only way I could see better through them is when I put my now weak glasses over them.
I'm sending them back but I won't get my $9.94 shipping charge back and I have to pay to send them back.
They offered to let me keep both pairs of glasses and refund back 50%. Why would I pay any amount of money for a product that I can use and doesn't work?
Still, I'll be getting back almost $100.
I'm just going to go to my eye doctor and see if there's a way I can get my eyes checked anyway.
Don't buy the Primafocus glasses.

ETA(9/15/25: they're giving me the run around about refunding my money.
I gave them all the information they asked for. Now, they want the shipping tracking number and receipt where I sent them back.
I guess I'm not getting my $100 back. Plus, I'm out $13 for the shipping.
They need to be shut down.

I wanted 1 pair of glasses to try them at £38.95. I assumed I would be asked to review my order or confirm the amount to pay but it went straight through to confirmation of payment for £199.84 for an additional 3 pairs with warranty!!
Luckily I paid via Paypal and raised a dispute straight away. This company should be shut down as it is surely illegal to take money without permission.

Order 1 pair 3 went through, didn't need them (I have prescription glasses) thought I would try them. I am pppiiiiiiisssseeeddd off.

A total scam. You order 1 pair of glasses and they take your credit card details and then charge you for 3 pairs plus other charges. I phoned my bank immediately on ordering and am disputing charge and have not received glasses.

Good news for me - my bank did their investigation and I have now received a full refund. Bank agreed it was a scam. Also cancelled my credit card just to be safe.

This company deserves NO stars! I am 81 years old frail in body but sharp in mind. I ordered 2 pairs of the adjustable spectacles and paid with Paypal. When the confirmation was emailed to me. I found that the order had been changed to 5 extra pairs of the specs and an extended warranty had been added to the order! Total 5 pairs of glasses, extended warranty at a cost of £216.87! I tried to cancel the order but some AI machine nicknamed 'Victor' emailed to say that my order had been 'dispatched'. It was a Sunday and the order had been 'dispatched' within 10 minutes! I am trying to get my money back from PayPal or my credit card company. I am NOT so sharp in mind!
An update on my order. PayPal have refunded me £160.89 as a result of Primafocus scamming me. All that remains, when my original order of 2 pairs of specs. arrive, I shall send them back within the 30 days. Then, finish totally with the despicable, scamming Primafocus!

Paypal have refunded all my money. After this nerve wracking experience I shall attempt to get these scammers closed down!

The product is virtually worthless, just a flimsy frame with two cheap plastic lenses. I could see better without them. The only good point is that I received a 50% refund within 24 hours without having to return the glasses, so I can't fault the customer service.

I am thankful to Jesus that I investigated. I watched the advert and thought this sounds too good to be true. Then I read the reviews which are really bad. All one star. They offer multiple pairs lowering the cost. If these glasses are "Taking the world by storm," why would I need so many pairs ?
Also this company looks and sounds like the same company that do the 'Rewave TV Antenna' and also a company called ' Chic Shoes' which I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with. I orderd a number of shoes and when they arrived it was awful; cheap,nasty, poorly made etc. I had to go through hoops to get my money back and I also took them to 'Trading Standards.' The entire episode went on for a couple of months.
I dont understand how 'Youtube' is allowing these adverts to be shown. Its a scam.
Please, please do not go anywhere near this evil company which I am sure is operating under different names selling crap products.
Those of you that have had your money already taken please contact Citizens Advice which will take you to Trading Standards. Or go to GOV.UK to find your local Trading Standards office.

These are eastern Europeans running a scam. I tried to order one pair of glasses. What I got was 1-put on auto pay for $55.96 TWICE each month. 2-put on auto pay for $68.93. 3-sold an extended warranty plan. 4-they sent 5 pair of glasses that will not fit and adult male. Their website said they have three ways to contact them. 1-chat on message, they do not have chat. 2-phone number, only goes to voice mail. 3- email, they do respond to email. They respond to my request for email by requesting, Photo of the entire order, including the packaging.
Your full name. Order ID or the email address that was used when making the purchase. So if you want a part time job trying to get your money back, this is the place to go.

Do not have anything to do with this company their product is rubbish. The supposed spectacles consist of a cheap and nasty frame plus cheap and useless lens. Altogether, it is a complete scam and a waste of money

DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THEIR WEBSITE. I wish I had found these reviews before I, too, made the mistake of browsing the PrimaFocus website and unwittingly got scammed out of £160.89 for three pairs of glasses, three warranties and postage. I definitely DID NOT place an order. My mistake was to log in to my PayPal account before leaving the PF website. Shocked, I immediately contacted them via the only option on the 'order'. No response. Another email, no response. Then, I received an 'upsell' email offering another pair of glasses at reduced cost - along with my original complaint attached, request for cancellation and refund. This is so distressing as I cannot afford, neither do I want these items. They look awful in the pictures. Cheap and nasty. Why would anyone want to buy them? Has anyone managed to obtain a refund?

Tried to cancel order 15 minutes after ordering because they added extras on AFTER checkout. Was told that they can't cancel because the order is shipping within an hour. This a major contradiction to their 12 hour cancellation policy and illegal with regards to distance selling.

The whole thing screams scam to me. I was offered a free extended warranty, but that's one of the items they sneak in as a default, same with shipping. Supposed to be free, but they snuck that in, too.

They still won't cancel, and I now have to wait to receive and return the glasses. I don't even know if I'll have to pay import fees. If I do, I'll be expecting a refund for those too.

Avoid at all costs.

Prima focus scam me, an elderly woman of £50. plus £8 shipping, I discovered it is almost identical to the one I bought on Amazon for £4.46, I told them I wish to return the glasses, they play tricks that made it impossible for me to return, no return address, email sent to them was not delivered because the email address was not found, I have left them to God to judge. I thought they are reputable with their lovely adverts.

After seeing their video ad on GBNews, I was almost convinced to dig deeper and maybe even be conned into buying!…..No way Hosé!
This sort of product advertising is only going to make GB News's reputation even worse - it reflects very badly on them and will only help to increase the financial mess they're in at the moment.

DO NOT order from this company. 3 pairs bought (£169.80), they resemble something out of a Christmas cracker. I've emailed for a returns note but I'm not holding my breath.

This is a scam company. They try to trick you into adding on other junk to your order. But, the glasses are pure junk. You can’t even turn the adjuster knobs. I was able to get a refund but I had to jump through lots of hoops plus I had to pay to ship the junk back to them. Run from this company!!!

I ordered two pairs of glasses thinking they might help my partially sighted husband. After I paid, I noticed that another pair of glasses had been added with an extended warranty. Within minutes of placing the order I contacted PrimaFocus and told them of the problem but they said my order had already been processed and there was nothing I could do about it other than return them within 30 days once they turned up. Having been told that I could not cancel my order, I received an email asking if I wanted to add yet another pair of glasses to the order. This is a fake firm DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM. I have now contacted Paypal who should not allow them to trade under the banner of a purported responsible company. Having now read the Reviews below, I am as an elderly person scared and very frightened that I have been conned. Waiting to hear what happens next.

This is a Chinese scam!

This is a cheap filmsy piece of plastic which is at best a very bad magnifier for which they charged £69 without my authorisation!

The price was originally £39 but when we click on the payment link the payment becomes £69!

I contacted them within seconds of the order to ask they cancel but they would not reply.

The PayPal address email they use does not work.

Apparently this company trades under different names, careful with this product.

If you run a quick search on Amazon you will get this gadget for £3!

I am contacting YouTube to get this add removed!!!

Given the barrage of negative reviews, this company is not reputable. Furthermore, it is a non-US verified company.
I should have looked at the reviews before ordering for their product. I have requested a refund of the payment I made.
