Great shorts that disappeared!
I have always used Polaris bike shorts - they are great shorts. Sadly the bike shorts I ordered at the new year couldn’t be found when staff returned after the break. I got an email informing me they couldn’t be found but no alternative was either offered or suggested. Pretty disappointing!

Hey Hugo, sorry you found yourself disappointed this time aorund with the error we made. There's been a few teething issues to work out on our website so unfortunately this happened without us realising until coming to pack your order. Unfortunately right now we don't have many alternative options to certain specialist kit and wouldn't want to reccomend another item that wouldn't do the job the same as your ordered item. We apologise for the inconvenience and hope when we have some fresh releases of shorts in the future you'll choose Polaris again!

Poor communications
Before it arrived I received a partial refund for my order. I assumed that some of the items I ordered were out of stock. However, there was no communication from your company to update me on my order. It would have been good to know what was going on. The rest of my order arrived ok, albeit a bit late

Hey Ken, we apologise for any confusion caused due to our stock error. When it came to packaging your order the warehouse let us know that there was a miscalculation with remaining stock and your order was partially refunded without our customer service team being informed. This doesn't happen ofen but it's no excuse for our error and we hope this doesn't stop you shopping with Polaris again in the future!

Tall slim lady fits well into men’s small sizes
Love the men’s mountain bike shorts. Perfect for a tall slim lady. Size small is a good match for a ladies size 12.
I also purchased a men’s small jacket. Fits great as I also have a long body and arms.

I believe your order is being processed through customs as we speak and unfortunately due to Brexit and the Holiday back log this may have taken a while longer. Sizing is a bit of a joke! Everything seems to be getting smaller but calling some XXL when its clearly a M at best is a waste of time and postage,
And I did follow your sizing guide which is another pack of lies!

Hey Mick, I'm sorry to hear about your experience with our Cadance Tight sizing. I've checked this up for you with our current stock against our standard web size-chart and can see that the XXL does match our suggested waist size when worn. Although we've not experienced any customer complaints regarding this, you may have received a error / misslabeled pair? If this was the case we could have arranged an exchange postage label due to product error.

Returns could be easier
Bought various items of clothing from HBR Outdoors Ltd trading as Polaris. Prompt delivery. All great quality. One item fitted and I kept it. Returns a little bit of a faff (contact email support, print paper form off and fill it in by hand) but completed fairly quickly. Refund prompt but has languished as "on way" in my PayPal for four days so far, apparently because it was sent as an echeque? NB. PayPal return postage refund is excellent!

Thank you for leaving an honest review Roger! Our paper form method is to reduce cost on our side and pass savings onto customers but we understand it can be a bit fiddly sometimes. The PayPal refund should be with you today (this week at latest), their echeque methods take a little while but rest assured it's already left our account and is on the way to you. :)

Ordered a cycling rear light. Ordering was very easy and light was perfect. Small but bright. Easy to turn on and off. Very happy with my purchase. Contacted Polaris while ordering and they were fast and friendly to reply and solved my issue. Would order from them again.
