The wrong material
I ordered additional armcovers and although they arrived quickly and were of as equally good quality as the originals they were a different colourway of the pattern.I contacted my local Plumbs rep and she was very helpful and said that if I returned them I would probably get a full refund but could not guarantee that Plumbs would replace them with the correct colourway. That would mean that I would have no spare arm covers, so although they are not a true match I have to hope people won't notice! I am very disappointed.

I was very happy with the quality of the curtains I ordered. They were ready quicker than expected. The only delay I experienced was in the actual fitting . I would however be happy to order from Plumbs again.

Reupholstery
At the initial visit from Lynn Foster, and the follow-up visit to measure, she was excellent in providing information and advice as to which materials would best meet our requirements. When our two sofas and chair were returned they looked splendid and are very comfortable. At first I was surprised these were delivered with no protective covering for the new Palermo Sky upholstery though all was OK.

Poor service all round
I placed my order in April and paid a large deposit. I wasn't contacted until (after much chasing) July. I then paid the full amount. The upholstery is good but I later realised the replacement seats cushions are too big and a struggle to fit onto the sofa. I ordered a matching throw (to protect the sofa from pets), it didn't arrive. I had to call constantly but I was put off every time, callbacks were promised but rarely happened. I got a throw in September but it's too short! I give up!!

I ordered loose covers for two large sofas, an armchair and a matching set of curtains for my living room. I can honestly say my experience with Plumbs has been absolutely fantastic. In particular, with Amanda, the Plumbs sales consultant who measured up for both the curtains and for the sofa covers amd fitted the sofa covers. Amanda was incredibly professional, understood what I was looking for, was tremendously knowledgeable around fabrics and designs and made suggestions that made all the difference to how my home looks now and I couldn't be happier with how my sofas and curtains look. The quality and fit of the fabric is beautiful and it has tranformed my home so a huge shout out to Amanda and the team st Plumbs for such a terrific job!!!

I wanted to share my thanks and feedback for the outstanding service I received. The shutters look absolutely amazing. From the very beginning, Anthony’s communication was excellent — he showed a genuine understanding of my situation and was so caring and considerate throughout.
He did a wonderful job with the shutters, adjusting perfectly to all circumstances. He even took care to consider the cleaning, and measured and fitted them with absolute perfection, working around my uneven walls to get the fit exactly right. From the plumbs to the final fitting, everything was done to perfection.
This has been outstanding service from start to finish, and I would absolutely recommend Anthony and the team. Thank you so much.

A very bad experience.
Like many other reviews on here the covers were I'll fitting and poor quality. The only redress offered was a return of the consultant who had messed up the measurements and fitting . But his surly attitude and demand immediate payment before I was fully able to inspect his work was intimidating for me as a 79 year old pensioner. It is not an experience I wish to repeat. My comments to Plumbs fell on deaf ears.
Some years previously, I had covers for a suite made by plumbs which were exceptional, very good fit and good material. Unfortunately after my latest experience I would not recommend them . Such a shame as they were an extremely good company --- and British. A very costly mistake. .

Badly fitting covers
Badly fitting covers that do not do the job they were planned to do. Material too thick for furniture that are recliners. Had to replace them less than a week they were so unsuitable for the job. They are now in plastic bags in the loft. Expensive mistake.

Dreadful after care service
I had a sofa covered just before Christmas. After a short time I noticed that the seats were sagging. I complained to the company and my complaint has been completely ignored. I am extremely disappointed in the after care of this company.
