Cashed one of my pensions when i turned 55. From start to finish the whole process was simple, clear and deal with swiftly from receiving the forms, completing and returning those and receiving the funds. Phoenix always made sure that I had received the appropriate independant financial advice before proceeding to next stage. Staff courteous and efficient. 5 star service.

Knowledgeable gentleman who took my call was exactly what l was needing.

I explained I had received a letter advising a change of address, however the change of address was back to my old address. It appeared that someone had the old and new addresses mixed up. The gentleman on the call very nice asked some questions, understood the issue and corrected it whilst I was on the call. He took ownership of the issue, understood what could have happened, checked his system, asked me a couple of questions and implemented the solution and all whilst being very nice and passing the time of day. Great service

After one month and many calls the problem has not been resolved. Retuned calls and delayed postal information adds to the problem and frustration.

You haven't even replied to my email or given me any information on whats happening

They are a nightmare to deal with from overseas. You have to call them to get anything done and then when you eventually get through, it’s clear that English is not their primary language. I’ve been trying to get MY money out of a policy that has martyred and they won’t let me. The Ombudsman is now involved. Hopefully that will make them pull their fingers out

I ain't 2 lots of qualifying paperwork, it was by registered post the reason you got two lots is you requested it again, I have put in several actions, finally asked pheonix to lodge a complaint with the ombudsman, I heard othing I then contacted Pheonix saying I had not heard from them and asked for an update, then Pheonix contacted me saying you couldn't open the attached files, I resent all the I formation again in a different format, so it's been over a year since I started this process of getting my pension released, just to compare I'm inheriting my deceased mothers pension, it took three months to get the cash from my mothers estate including dealing with lawyers, go look up a review on Google, it states while most people think your scam artists the consensus is your just incompetent, that's the world wide Web giving their opinion, you now have mine, where is my money

Each Phoenix Life agent was very professional, helpful, patient and clear every step along the way. I never felt rushed or pressured and I was able to raise questions at any time throughout the process.

The staff member did not appear to have sufficient knowledge. Very dishapointing.

Nightmare to deal with. Taking ages to try and cash in my pension and have had other problems . Haven’t emailed me back when they said they would. Never replied to two separate letters we had sent them and they say totally different things over the phone than what they put in writing!!!

After many misleading phone calls from other people I finally got in touch with Phoenix Life and the young Lady knew exactly what I wanted to know and sorted me out no problem. Thank you.Pen

Efficient service

The transfer of funds from a phoenix life pension policies to a central pension pot provider does not guarantee the final bonuses .this contravenes my understanding when AMP sold me the policies.
All other providers do not peanalise their customers to have freedom in this option , typically my other providers are royal london and aviva
