This game is so much more than a quiz game! We had so much fun playing it with my kids and grandparents, the questions are super recent and it brought the whole family playing together, which is rare! Would recommend!

We have had this game for a few years…
We have had this game for a few years and absolutely loved it! Now they have changed the game and a new update has appeared and it’s ruined the game. Way too hard, questions that require 5 answers . Now not enjoyable and we have stopped playing :( so sad.

Could you please provide a little more information, such as which device you’re using and any specific questions or packs that were causing issues? This will help our content team investigate.
In case you were not aware when playing the final round, the 10 questions in 60 seconds, the system actually adjusts - 10 questions on the first try, then 8, then 6 - so it gets easier each time. We weren't sure if you knew that?

LOVE this game
LOVE this game. Im not sure why there are so many reviews here criticising the app because it works flawlessly for me.. So it must have been updated and fixed. I’ve had the BEST evenings playing with family and friends. I love all the categories too. They seem to be continually adding more.. Which is brilliant because I don’t think we’ll ever get bored of it ☺️. I just can’t fault it!

Fantastic game for all ages
Fantastic game for all ages. The range of categories and questions is great and the ability to set it up for different age groups make its suitable for all the family. Difficulty levels always feel just right. Would definitely recommend. Also, had to contact their customer services and had great attention with almost instant responses.

Used to love this game
Used to love this game. 2 adults and a 9 year old playing. Having played 3 games with the new format the questions are far too hard for the child. It seems almost no difference between adult and child questions using all the same question packs as we used to. I do like the new final round questions, as that part was too easy before but that doesn’t make up for the fact that now my son can’t get any questions correct to get anywhere in the game. It’s incredibly frustrating for him to not get any points and keep losing points.
The extra time makes no difference really as the question is beyond them completely. One example today: what is the name of the process where water leaves the leaf (or words to that effect) that is a GCSE science topic (or at least high KS3!). Should not really be on a 8-12 year old question. Anyway, he won’t play now as it’s not competitive, he can’t access the game. Review your age categories, would make more sense to have more brackets for children to fit into.

We’re glad to hear you like the improvements to the final round. It’s worth mentioning that the only new questions introduced in this update are the ring questions - all the others remain unchanged. As there are tens of thousands of questions in the game it is hard to find a specific question without more detailed information - if you come across any that feel too difficult, please do contact us through our support desk with the details as that allows us to review the specific questions you encountered and make adjustments where needed.

Great Game!
We’ve been playing Outsmarted for a while now, and the latest update has made a massive difference. Everything runs so much smoother and the new features really add to the fun.
It’s become our go-to game for family nights again. The question packs are great and very up to date, and I love that it’s still easy for everyone to join in, no matter their age or where they are. We even played a few rounds with friends abroad last weekend without any issues! We're loving it!

Outsmarted is such a clever twist on classic trivia games. I love that you can play with friends remotely - it makes game nights possible even when we’re not together. The recent update improved game flow quite a bit & the new question types are a welcome change that add variety.

Used to be a fantastic game until recent update
This was a fantastic game until the recent update.
Now some of my group cannot join in because the technical requirements seem to have been increased. Presumably to deal with the unnecessarily fancy graphics.
The new ring question format requiring multiple answers has really spoiled the game for me. In the time we used to complete the game we can only barely achieve 4 rings.
It’s awful.
I won’t be buying any more categories and definitely won’t recommend this game to anyone else.

The new ring questions have been one of the most popular features we’ve ever released as they offer something much more interactive than plain multiple choice questions. If you find them a bit more challenging, the good news is you can easily adjust the difficulty in setup - giving each player more time and up to 20 assists so everyone can enjoy the game at their own pace and with added help when they need it. If anyone in your group is having technical trouble, or if you need help with adjusting difficulty, our support team - one of the best in the business - is here 365 days a year.
