Great game for the family.
We bought this game a week ago, ready for Christmas. Our kids (and we) absolutely love it! Some people have mentioned the set up - we found that really easy, and have played both on the board and virtually. We’ve bought a few add on options too. It sounds cheesy to say it’s brought the family together but it’s the first time we’ve all sat together laughing and on a game for a long time. The kids are also looking forward to playing against their friends remotely.
My only suggestion would be to move purchased add-on’s to the top of the list…they are quite hard to find when you’re not just using random categories.
Overall though, great game and have recommended to friends too.

Don’t waste your money
Don’t waste your money. So flimsy took the board out of the box and it’s peeled away. Contacted customer service and they’ve said they’ll replace the board.

For transparency, we would like to clarify the timeline for other customers reading this:
You contacted us stating that the board was damaged and requested a refund.
At that point, the game had already been registered and played, and the licence key was active on your account.
As per our policy, once a game has been registered and used, a refund is not possible — however, we still offered a free replacement board to resolve the issue for you.
You declined the replacement and requested to keep the licence key and also receive a refund, which we could not accept.
Despite this, we later sent you a brand-new replacement board, free of charge, to ensure you were fully supported.
We always aim to be fair and go above and beyond for our customers, and we feel we have done everything possible to resolve this matter.
If you need any further assistance, please reach out to our support team directly — we’re happy to help.

Outsmarted is a great game but not keen on the latest update
Outsmarted is a great game but my husband and I are not overly keen on the new update. Having to pick accurately 5 out of 8 is a so difficult. Also, having to place 4 in the correct order to move on is not easy either. My husband was stuck on the first ring question for the whole game and now doesn’t want to play because the questions are too difficult. In the end, I had to answer the question for him. Previously, picking one out of four was good and you could often narrow it down using a 50/50 if you had one. We also think the previous ending was better too. Now, everyone just repeatedly trigger presses on one colour instead of reading the questions because there’s so little time to answer. So, we love the game but not keen on the recent changes. Would also love to see the following categories: anything to do with the 1950’s and 1960’s especially music and film. Glad to see you’ve added a ‘Royals’ category. Will definitely buy that one in the near future.

Fun but temperamental
Game is a brilliant concept but 80% of the time, it freezes, skips questions or turns, the more questions you answer correctly the less time you get, sometimes you have 0 seconds to answer a question. App is very slow.
When it works its so much fun but could be quicker bit of a faff setting up. Can't come off the game to send friends the join game code as you then have to restart the whole set up process. If these issues where fixed it would be so much fun.

I know most people might say this but I don’t usually do these kind of reviews. But this company have helped me with my order that went missing, my fault, I put my works postcode with my address, so god knows where it’s gone. Anyway, they and I tried to find it, photos of the porch it was left, me going out to the postcode street to see if I could find it, no luck. I thought I would just have to buy another but Outsmarted have now organised for a replacement to be sent, this was also at 9 o’clock at night and organised next day delivery for me. I think they have gone above and beyond here. Vivian, who dealt with my issue was amazing.

Superb quiz
Great game! Enjoyed playing it with out 10 year old, who very nearly (unlucky!) beat us. App has changed recently which took some getting used to, but after a couple of games it just felt like it's always been like that. All in all, I recommend this game.

Nice game, difficult final round
I very much like to play this game! However the update is great, there is something that I don't like. In the final round you have to answer 10 questions right in 60 seconds to win the game. This is almost impossible especially for people that need more time to read and answer a question. At the previous version, there was an option that you don't lose the number of questions good answered, so you could continue. I find it disappointing that this option isn't avaialable anymore.. I hope this will become an option in the future again!

In case you were not aware when playing the final round, the 10 questions in 60 seconds, the system actually adjusts - 10 questions on the first try, then 8, then 6 - so it gets easier each time. We weren't sure if you knew that?

Ruined and disappointed.
The game was brilliant. Now it seems to have taken a turn for the surreal with the latest update. Questions are obscure to impossible. I am no genius, but then the obvious 1% getting it right are. I’ve tried to make it work, but if a group of 10 of us, of all varying ages, decide to give it up, there is something wrong. Avoid recent time related question banks for now, it’s beyond even Trivial Pursuit adult version. You have been warned!

I purchased multiple question packs and one of the redeem codes wasn’t working (after confirming I entered it correctly). I reached out to the support team and they promptly replied (within 24 hours) saying they had added the pack for me (rather than making me apply the solution myself) and they added a bonus question pack for me as well as a way of making up for the trouble I had. If that isn’t above and beyond service, I don’t know what is. Things will happen, it’s part of life, but they made it a positive experience in the end and made me feel valued as a customer. Well done!

Outsmarted is so so fun to play! I've started hosting trivia nights at home with friends and I love that we're never done playing, bc there are always new questions and categories that they launch. My favs are romcoms and packs with music clips like 00s or one hit wonders, such a throwback! For Christmas, I'll bring it to my family gatherings and we can play with all the nieces and nephews (you can adjust the question age). Can't wait!

Great Questions and Fun for Family
I've played a lot of trivia games in my day, and Outsmarted is by far the most fun. The game format is a lot like Trivial Pursuit, but the question quality and variety of content is really what sets it apart.
They're always updating and adding new question packs which keeps the game fresh and their categories are always fun and keep me learning. It's a great family game, too. They have stuff for kids and adults and everyone in between. An educational game for the whole family is hard to find and Outsmarted does it perfectly.

Really love this game! It's everything I'd want from a trivia game but offers a much more interactive and edge-of-your-seat experience than my previous go-to (Trivial Pursuit).
