I've no technical issues, but the questions are all how long's a piece of string. You're just guessing everything. Boring!

Ich hatte mir das Spiel Ende 2024 als Brettspiel in einem Spielwarengeschäft gekauft. Das spiel funktionierte mit der beiliegenden Lizenzkarte auch.
Ich kaufte mir online über die Outsmarted-Homepage ein Erweiterungbundle, stellte gleich danach aber fest, dass die inklusive des Hauptspiels war, weswegen ich die Bestellung widerrufen habe. Gutschrift bekam ich auch zurück erstattet.
Nun habe ich das Spiel längere Zeit nicht genutzt und wollte Anfang 2026 erneut spielen, aber das Spiel verweigerte mir zu starten und ich benötige ein gültigen Lizenzkey. Alles ok dachte ich habe ja die Lizenzkarte, aber leider ist dieser Key scheinbar nicht mehr gültig.
Darauf hin habe ich mich beim Outsmarted Support gemeldet um den Fall zu schildern:
1. Antwort: Sie haben eine Gutschrift erhalten.
Ich: ja aber das war für den widerrufenen Online-Bundlekauf, nicht für mein ersten Kauf.
2. Antwort: Wir haben hier nur ein Kauf vermerkt.
Ich: Ja weil ich das original BRETTSPIEL in einem SPIELWARENGESCHÄFT gekauft habe
3. Antwort: Schicken sie bitte ein Kaufbeleg
Ich: nach 2 Jahren habe ich kein Kaufbeleg mehr, aber anbei ein Foto vom Spiel und von der Lizenzkarte
4. Antwort: Es tut mir leid. Ihre Bestellung enthielt diesen Lizenzschlüssel, und Sie haben bereits eine Rückerstattung dafür erhalten.
Ich etwas ungehaltener: Ich kann nichts dafür, wenn sie mit ihren Lizenzschlüsseln nicht klar kommen, aber so können sie nicht Support betreiben. Ich möchte sie bitten meinen original gekauften Lizenzkey zu reaktivieren.

Seitdem keine Antwort vom Support mehr. Das geht gar nicht. Leider alle Supportemails ohne persönlichen Namen, alles anonym.

J'ai acheté un exemplaire avec une figurine possédant un défaut. Ca fait plus de 3 mois que l'éditeur me balade en mois en mois "on va vous envoyer une figurine de remplacement". C'est pas sérieux...

De eerste 2 weken deed het prima maar loopt nu vast bij ringvragen echt irritant je moet dan steeds opnieuw je gegevens doorgeven waarnaar ie weer vastloopt echt jammer was leuk spel tot het vastlopen begon. Ik heb nu terug gestuurd want is best prijzig.

A real shame as it started as a really good quiz game and now has totally lost it in terms of questions.

As a family we love playing this game so I purchased the ultimate subscription, when paying with Apple Pay it changed my email address to the one not linked to the outsmarted app, I emailed to let them know and within 4 minutes they had replied and sorted out the issue. Brilliant customer service

I bought this a week ago for family game night with my adult children. There was 4 of us playing. We had zero issues. It was super easy to setup. We used a laptop and streamed it onto our 65 inch TV. We played for two hours. It never froze once. Sitting around snacking and playing, we had many laughs. I am looking into buying more bundles. We loved the game pieces!!! Einstein won! LOL

We actually like the game- when it works and doesn’t freeze, which is quite a lot unfortunately. We have fast broadband and don’t struggle with anything else so it’s frustrating when a game freezes half an hour in. We’re also disappointed that the game is advertised as including the “golden question” it’s still on their own website. We partly brought for this as my brother has managed to collect a huge amount of extra categories through the golden question which makes the game more fun, especially for kids. However as soon as we purchased this, just after Christmas, the golden question disappeared. I emailed to ask when this would return, as the online message implies it will, and got quite a rude reply asking what was my point. My point is you’re still advertising something that you are not providing and I was asking when will this return. For the rudeness and the connection issues I wouldn’t recommend purchasing now.

Le principe du jeu est très sympa, mais malheureusement les questions sont basées à 90 % sur la culture américaine, et donc sans intérêt car beaucoup de questions concernent des sujets totalement inconnus en Europe. Depuis la dernière mise à jour, les questions "anneaux" ont changé de style, ce qui est particulièrement pénalisant, car elles aussi sont basées sur des thèmes américains, dont on n'a jamais entendu parler. Et choisir plusieurs réponses possibles parmi toute une liste tient juste du hasard et ôte tout l'intérêt du jeu. A fuir !

Seit dem Update sind die Fragen teilweise viel zu schwer. Hier soll man zb 8 Sehenswürdigkeiten ihrer Besucherzahl zuordnen. Ständig solch unlösbare Fragen, auch für das Kinderlevel. Nach ca. 8x spielen, hat es uns angezeigt, dass alle Jugendfragen bereits durchgespielt wurden. Das Spiel kann man sich stecken lassen!

Love this game we play a family game every weekend with friends my 11 year old son absolutely loves it delivery was a bit slow but not that bad considering it was Christmas time which I fully understand every logistics company is busy I purchased the ultimate edition from outsmarted web site and the full add on packs of cards so I have multiple choices to play through at 35 pound for the year it's a bargain price and loads of categories to pick from never had a problem with the app dropping out only issue I found was once the mic was activated on my phone the sound won't transfer to the TV to stream it so have to make sure phone is turned up high to hear it but I know exactly what the problem is and it's not outsmarted it's my phone not being able to determine the mic and audio output at same time but overall this game is fantastic and I'm happy that I purchased it when I did on Dec 30th I would definitely give this game a 5 star rating I've emailed customer service agents a few times and had nothing but high quality responses and respect from them with help rectifying my issues almost straight away which is excellent I would recommend this game to anyone it's on my top of the games we play update tried to play a came remotely but unfortunately no one could connect it it just keeps saying to disconnect or try again so gave up in the end will be emailing the team for a fix to this issue

Bought this game in 2024 installed it on my Samsung galaxy phone and completed the registration in my name. We had lots of family fun and really enjoyed playing. I even purchased additional game categories. Today after not playing for a while my phone said app needed to be updated and then said it is no longer compatible with my device even with IOS 14 and got deleted

My husband installed the app on his phone used the same licence key but had to register in his name as it wouldn't let me register again in mine. I have lost the extra games I purchased and feel ripped off.
The old app was better as the font is a bit smaller making it harder to read the questions. It also has a bit of lag and after playing for a short while the phone starts overheating so we couldn't finish the longer game version.

I think people need to beware of compatibility before purchasing to avoid any disappointment as it is for me now no longer able to play.

Le jeu est très bien mais malheureusement il bug énormément une fois qu’on est sur les questions anneaux ce qui fait qu’on ne sait pas terminer la partie! Et ils mettent un temps fou à corriger les bug donc ça gâche beaucoup le jeu!

Das Spiel macht Spaß und die Idee ist gut.
Schön wäre es nur, wenn es die Option geben würde, dass die Teams jede Frage im Wechsel beantworten könnten. Häufig muss das Team, welches nicht dran ist, lange warten. Das erzeugt Langeweile. Des Weiteren sollten die Frage vorgelesen werden, sodass alle mitraten können, auch wenn sie nicht dran sind. Nicht immer können alle den Bildschirm gleichzeitig sehen und es entsteht keine unangenehme Stille.

I got it for my son for Christmas - he’s 11 and is nothing short of a quiz show addict and board game lover - but as an only child with family scattered all over the country and some in different countries he doesn’t always get to play the games as much as he would like - but over Christmas we’ve played together lots and even got a couple of games in with our friends in Canada. It’s such a wonderful game, we love the remote aspect - especially as I’m disabled and can’t always be downstairs or in the same room but this way he can set it up on the tablet and I can play while I’m in bed or away from home.

Thank you for making such a brilliant game with so many wonderful categories. We even won a few in the golden question as well.

I got it in the Black Friday deal with the Kids Vs Adults bundle so it was £24.99 it arrived the same evening (I ordered by 12pm and it arrived by 930/10pm) but now I have it I can say I would order the game at full price especially because the add on packs are affordable - definitely good to reward him when he finishes homework, chores etc.

My son has created a spreadsheet with all the categories we have ended up with since Christmas - 47 in total with only one duplicate from an extra movie pack - we also like that it gives us an idea of how many questions we’ve used in each pack we’ve got halfway through The Royals and Harry Potter. We love how up to date the questions are and that they will update as we go - we got given a game of trivial pursuit (including its thick layer of dust) some time ago and even I didn’t know answers to the questions where as this game will update and we love the fact you can pick age bracket (junior, teen, adult) so everyone can keep up with each other.
I’m sure he will soon add the amount of questions included his spread sheet too.

We have also joined a couple of Facebook groups so we have played with more people making the fun last longer and I have played with people in the middle of the night when I haven’t managed to sleep - my only feedback for this would be to generate a game code prior to the selection of subjects so everyone can pick something and maybe allow them to have their character created already to join with to make the remote play set up a little quicker.

It even includes data for the competitive people playing - stats of how many games each player has played and their win rates it even dated back to Christmas…

All in all it’s a fantastic game at a good price.

My top 3 favourite points,
Enjoyable for all the family at appropriate age levels.
Remote play aspect, we can play together even apart.
Lots of question packs to choose from so every game is different

Thank you Outsmarted for giving us a game that we can play no matter whether I’m bedbound and can’t sit up or even if I’m having to stay away from home due to my illness, and for connecting us with fun nights with family all over the world. As someone that’s not fond of boardgames I’m converted.

Très déçue de ce jeu aux questions certes variées, mais très americano-centrées. Si vous n’êtes pas fan de culture US, passez votre chemin. Service client inopérant, puisque le jeu a été ouvert (en même temps, comment savoir avant de l’ouvrir… )
Bref, je ne recommande vraiment pas ! !!

Wie sollen 8-12 jährige Kinder eine Frage nach einer Serie beantworten die erst ab 16 ist.
Ich würde es schöner finden wenn man das genaue Alter der Spielerinnen angeben könnte.
Auch schön wäre wenn man einstellen könnte das die Fragen und Antworten vorgelesen werden.

I purchased this before Christmas 2025, I got the Ultimate version, And thought this Would be great for Christmas evening, And it was until it crashed And all scores were lost.
After over 30 minutes of fun, Just wiped away. Angry is not the word I purchased the Ultimate thinking it would be better for a large group, in the end a large disappointed group, My wifi is 1gb so enough for as many phones as you like but it Still CRASHED.
Then again 4 days later, not as many of us this time, CRASHED,
So enjoyable game if you want to be disappointed before the end and LOSE ALL YOUR SCORES. MY Advice don't go to the expense and buy a normal board game, Which will give you just as much fun.

Get your act together, And stop disappointing people, The game should not have been on the market if it was not tested and perfected, so as drop outs would not happen, I have not used it since, but will be keeping an eye on improvements.

I bought this game before christmas so it could be played with the whole family on Boxing day. How wrong was I. I received the game very quickly and activated it. The problems started when I tried to play it and share it on the smart TV. It didnt work and just froze on the phone and TV. Contact the support team and was told that the problem was with my phone (galaxy S24) and i needed to change a whole bunch of setting just to be able to play it. I am not a tech person and for me this ruined the whole experience as i didnt want to spend hours getting everyone else to change whatever settings needed to be changed on their model of phone. I have requested a refund from them but they have only offered a 50% refund with no explanation. I would expect a full refund less P&P. I wait to see what they respond with on this. Overall the game looks like it could be good but is not for a non tech person/family as you would need to spend a lot of time setting it up, installing it on everyones phone and then they maybe have to trouble shoot the problems before playing. We played Monopoly again instead :)
