If I could give them minus 100, I would. They are an absolute disgrace. I am trying to return the Otterbox defender series case for iPhone 11 as I found it had a distinctive chemical smell to it and really couldn't cope with using it because of the smell. I have messaged them many times now, you cannot get in touch with them by telephone. They say that they are going to send me an automated email with the returns details (I cannot understand why they didn't give me this information in the email they sent to tell me they were going to send it!!!) and I have been awaiting this information for over a week now. What on earth are they doing to take so long in giving me the returns information? It must be run by AI bots and not humans. I am stuck with a product that cost me £42.99 and is of no use!

My sister is awaiting her phone cover and it is being delivered by Evri - they are totally useless as well and appear to have run out of time to deliver the item. Not sure if she will receive it either.

How are these companies legally allowed to exist. There is non-existent customer service. You cannot speak to anyone. I would never purchase anything from them ever again.

I absolutely abhor companies who don't care about their customers as well as using this damned AI rubbish with no telephone contact. This appears to be the way many businesses are going!

So I ordered an Otterbox Watch strap for my Apple Watch ultra. I’ve had a couple of phone cases and felt I could trust them. Compared to many aftermarket straps it was expensive. It took forever to arrive despite saying 3 days when I ordered it. Communication with them was slow and frustrating, where they would respond to part of my question. When it arrived I tried to keep an open mind but it just feels like cheap rubbish. The clasps feels like something from a Christmas cracker, there is no way I am trusting this strap on my 850 quid Apple Watch. The rest of the strap is supposed to feel like soft like silicone or something! but it feels more like hardened cardboard if I’m honest. I feel like the whole experience was frustrating, no such thing as costumer service these days. The only thing this strap is good for is helping my Apple Watch sell when the time comes as I can at least advertise it as having a spare Watch strap and hopefully the new owner won’t be tempted to use it. Shame, waist of time and money. Yes I could probably return it but I’d have to pay for the return then wait until retirement for a refund. It’s just disappointing and sad.

My phone case was starting to split, I contacted Otterbox who referred me back to Amazon who I purchased it from. Amazon wanted nothing to do with it, and referred me back to the Otterbox who said they would review my claim.
After providing them all the required information they state the phone case is now discontinued so that's it.
Complete waste of time

I have used Otterbox cases for iPhones and iPads for quite a while, I gave up on cheap alternatives sometime ago. My current case and belt holster is on my iPhone 12 Pro Max, also using the screen protector which has cracked on a recent drop but saved the main screen and is still fine to use. My belt clip recently failed, one of the corners just snapped off as I was clipping the phone back in. On the off chance that it was covered with the warranty I visited the website. After signing in I found that it was covered. The ordering of a replacement was simple and within about a week my new holster had arrived, even the delivery was free. I consider this excellent customer service and am very grateful to the hard working Otters, nice one.

After seeing the other reviews I wasn’t hopeful, however, contacted customer services as my case I bought back last year, around 6 months ago had broken. The case is solid, and the top of their range so unsure how the seal came away. They promptly arrived and this morning I received a new replacement! Thanks very much.

I bought a case from Otterbox & thought it was going to protect my IPhone 14 pro max until I accidently dropped it and it cracked my screen protector and also damaged the edges of my phone really annoying don't recommend.

I am only giving 1 as there is no 0. I am still waiting for my order which apparently has been lost. Waited the 72 hours asked for, no reply to any of my emails. Wish I had checked Trustpilot before ordering. There is no customer service. I would never recommend them to anyone. If you have no customer service you don’t deserve a customer base. AVOID.

I bought FRE MAGSAFE IPH 14 PROMAX BLACK OT2 case and AMPLIFY ANTIMICROBIAL IPH 14 PROMAX GLOBAL screen protector on 13th Feb 2023 and received several days later.

On receipt, the case was to big for what I wanted, so I ordered SYMMETRY PLUS IPH 14 PROMAX BLACK OT2, which is perfect.

I wanted to return the FRE MAGSAFE IPH 14 PROMAX BLACK OT2, so completed the online returns form and received an automated response 24th Feb 2023 saying: "Thank you for contacting OtterBox. Our customer service agents are actively working on your request, and will reach out to you via email if any additional information is needed"

It is now 16th March 2023. I have sent several emails yet to received a response and out of pocket of £79.99.

If you are ordering a case make sure that you are 100% sure its the right case otherwise you will have issues returning.

Products from OtterBox are great, however the customer service is shocking and will not buy their products again as in my opinion communication and aftercare is just as important as the product.

I really wish I’d checked TrustPilot before deciding to buy direct from OtterBox. Their product is great but customer service terrible. I ordered a product, but the delivery failed (despite it being a 24 hour a day building in central London), the product was returned to sender by the courier. Since then zero comms no response to emails and absolutely no customer service. Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely appalling service - waited over 5 weeks for phone case arrived - advised I already bought a case elsewhere and credit my card with money owed. Still waiting for a refund……. Very disappointing and very poor customer service - you’ve been warned!

Awful company. Items are made from cheap garbage. £30 pounds for a glass screen protector and it came smashed to bits.

I ordered the Defender for iPhone and screen protection for £54. Otterbox took the money out of my account, but never sent a confirmation email, let alone the products.
I've tried to contact company via form on website, PayPal, Instagram and email. No answer from Otterbox, and definitely no products!

A TOTAL SCAM!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

Update: Otterbox has admitted to never sending any order to me, but they are also saying they never took any money from my account. My bank has confirmed that the funds have left my account, they are not just 'reserved' as Otterbox claims. Also, funds are not 'reserved' for 2 weeks!

Otterbox refuses to respond to any kind of communication. I send them multiple emails and web forms every day.

My bank has opened a claim against Otterbox.

Update: Otterbox now tries to blame me and say I must have ordered under a different name and address! No, I'm not James Bond! I only use one name and I only have one address.

Terrible phone case. I'd read good things but my phone's back glass smashed after falling off a low table onto a wooden floor. The case collects dust and stuff in-between the phone and the case and has made loads of scratches all over the sides of the phone. I honestly think this case has caused more damage than it has prevented and would strongly advise against this company.

This customer service from otterbox is an absolute DISGRACE. I have been trying to contact them week on week for over 2 months now to try get a refund and it's proving IMPOSSIBLE. In that time I haven't even gotten a response from them. It is an absolute disgrace. I am beyond frustrated and will never purchase another product from them.

I have always liked OtterBox phone cases but would never buy from them again. I’ve been trying to return an item now for over a month and they just completely ignore every request so you can’t get details to make the return. There’s no other way to return so now I’m just stuck with a product I can’t use.

Awful. Take ages to reply! It’s been 2 weeks now that I’ve been trying to get a faulty SCREEN PROTECTOR I purchased from them at £40. They’re asking for stupid things like a picture with the faulty product and a piece of paper with my name and dare on. How ridiculous?! I’ve never been asked to do such a thing before! No one seems to have a clue what is going on. I was asked for my address and receipt on multiple occasions by a variety of people! Seriously shocking customer service!!!!

Phone cases are great but customer service is a disgrace, almost to the point of being a scam. They make it virtually impossible to return items. They just about comply with EU/UK consumer law, by permitting a refund at the customer's cost. However, you can only return an item after you have been provided with instructions about how to make a return, which you need to request from Otterbox (information about how to make a return is not made available on their website) - the instructions were only received after sending several chaser emails via customer services. The return process is not automated or tracked by Otterbox. I returned an item but never heard from them ever again, let alone receive the refund. This was not a surprise based on the experience I had with customer services, however it is a disgrace.

Bought an Otterbox Symmetry iPhone 12 case. It got disfigured after 8 months, the rubber that sticks to the phone loosened, meaning it no longer snuggly fit the phone. Otterbox refused to honour the guarantee (supposedly 7 years!) and instead asked to contact the seller. The seller (an online retailer) refused the warranty as they said they only honour it for first 6 months!! As a customer, you get stuck between the seller and Otterbox!! Overall really disappointing experience and wont ever buy an Otterbox ever again!

Worst customer service ever. Doesn't send a prepaid label for returns and would expect you to shoulder the cost of shipping. Worst is they want you to send it back to the netherlands and im in the UK. Dont order!

I ordered a defender case for my Ipad pro, the internal stand broke while I was removing the case lid(how??); I attempted to claim under warranty, they have now gone silent despite repeated attempts to contact them. In short:

GARBAGE product
GARBAGE customer service.
