£80 for a terrible product that is not fit for purpose. Integral screensaver degrades to the point where you can’t type anything. Camera cover does the same and photos are blurred. Tried to contact customer service and they ghosted me. Rubbish product that is overpriced.

Items are not shipped from the uk but the Netherlands, delivery was slow and I had to chase with otterbox.
When delivered i opened the package to find an empty box and the case I ordered was missing.
Several emails back and forth with otterbox, photos sent etc and they finally agreed to issue a refund…
Well so they said… the refund never arrived and I had to contact PayPal and raise a dispute. They didn’t respond to the dispute
And the case was closed in my favour.
Don’t bother with this company.
Buyer Beware
This is an early review so I may edit if things improve. Firstly don’t confuse the US OtterBox site with the UK site as they have very different reviews on here.
I ordered from the uk site received the despatched email received very quickly & nothing since.
The tracking shows that the courier is expecting the item but that is not the same as despatched.
Interesting that their customer service form doesn’t seem to work either..

I can only speak from my experience and it is a good one. so many people only revue on bad things and very rarely on good from start to finish I can't fault Otterbox. The case is well made and easy to install, it arrived on time with good communications and they even threw in a free holder which I think is brilliant. Would I buy again? Yes! I'm more than happy to prove I'm a real coustomer
Non existent customer service
This must be the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced! I ordered items on 10/4. An email confirmed despatch “Our Otters have received your order and will process, pack and ship it in a timely fashion.
If you have any questions, please contact customer service and provide them with order number ***.”
These statements are both lies.
It is now 18/04 & the package has still not arrived. The tracking showed not received by Evri . TWO messages to you have gone unacknowledged & unanswered.. One item was for a gift but is now too late and I have to buy another one in an emergency. Total lack of communication. Terrible experience.
Poor Quality and Customer Service
Screen protector migrated across the screen after a few weeks of use. Bought it from their official website. They wanted me to jump through hoops to get a refund. Wanted a photograph taken next to a piece of paper with the date signed like a proof of life situation. Terrible company, will never use them again.
Expensive postage costs and very slow…
Expensive postage costs and very slow delivery. Don’t expect your new phone to be protected in a hurry unless you order a case well before you place an order for your new phone. Customer service response is as slow as the postage. I think they are still using pigeons!
Fell apart real fast
Fell apart real fast, damaged the phone body badly all over and they won't honour their warranty.

In my experience all the bad OtterBox reviews are true.
Tried to send back an order for a refund, lots of emails saying they were authorising a return number, eventually received return acceptance and return address.
Posted items back by recorded/signed for Royal Mail next day delivery. Received emails daily saying their customer services were dealing with the return.
Then, an email asking if I could send proof of postage, despite OtterBox having signed for delivery. Luckily I had proof of postage and a screen shot of the signed for Royal Mail delivery. About 10 days after sending photographs of both, I received a refund.
Not sure what would have happened if a hadn’t kept records of postage and delivery.

Will never use them again
Will never use them again. They forced me to call in to use a discount code and I had to sit on hold for a good 45 minutes. The shipment was supposed to take 2 days via FedEx. It took a week and half to get to me and my inquiries were rebuffed by their customer service. When I finally got my package, it wasn't what I ordered and I demanded a refund. Their customer service said they waived the return fee, but the email said I owed a returned fee. I am disputing via my credit card company. I do not recommend them.
Supine service
This review relates to online buying experience via the OtterBox website, NOT the products themselves, which, having bought before, are good. All previous purchases have been from UK outlets but on this occasion, I bought direct as OtterBox were offering a significant discount. However, my advice, if you need your product quickly, get it from elsewhere. Although the website purports to be a UK site, products are despatched from the Netherlands. I could have fetched it quicker myself…. on foot! They are soooooo sloooooooow! My item took ten days to even reach the UK courier, and not before I had to query what was happening with OtterBox customer service and another three for delivery. For the saving I made, with hindsight, I’d rather have paid full price and got it next day from elsewhere. I expected way better service.
Tried contacting customer service…
Tried contacting customer service regarding a replacement for my faulty case and they restricting to me to replace it with a random flip case that im not interested in as the originally product is out of stock. They have now ignore my emails after trying arrange a different replacement or refund.
Didn't do what they advertised - not Lifeproof.
I researched and bought the Otterbox Lifeproof cover for my iphone because I wanted the best protection. Disappointingly, my phone fell out of my trouser pocket but as the case was undamaged, I didn't realise that my phone had been damaged. I then noticed that my photos were coming out blurred and when I opened the case to clean the lense I found that the back of my phone was almost cracked in half. This case was definitely not 'lifeproof'. How can the case be intact but the phone inside it was supposed to protect be so damaged. The case obviously isn't doing its job. They offered me a replacement case - even though it wasn't damaged - but I don't trust this brand anymore.
Awful customer service
Awful customer service. Received a product that was faulty, followed the complaints procedure and no response. So left with a case that cannot be used. Would avoid this company at all costs as left with a product that I cannot use.
Terrible quality of a glass protector
Got their glass installed at the Apple Store. In 3 months in just peeled off itself. I reached out to their customer support, eventually they sent me 2 spare glasses and the system they have to install it is the worst on the market. Don't recommend them and is never going to use their products again.
A Useful Case: One annoying feature.
I bought an Otterbox defender case for my iPad Air, 4th generation. The buying process was straightforward and delivery was reasonably quick.
The case looks nice and holds an Apple Pencil in place securely with the flap that holds the case shut; this was something I wanted as it’s so easy to loose your Apple Pencil in a ruck sack or worse, knock it off when in the street and not notice. It also folds down relatively flat for writing with an Apple Pencil which I like.
The downside is that when you fold the cover flap to use the display in the more upright stance, it keeps suddenly sliding flat as it slowly slips from its upright position and then looses grip and slips flat. This is annoying as it happens a lot and could easily have been avoided by placing a high friction material on the cover to prevent this.
Waited ages for delivery and they sent…
Waited ages for delivery and they sent the wrong phone case. Can’t use the upgraded phone without the case. Absolutely fuming
Bought a new iphone 16 case
Bought a new iphone 16 case. Took a week to receive and buttons don't work on either side. Useless for actually using on a phone.
Emailed Otterbox for their returns process and received an email using their abbreviation's (RMA ?) with little or no explanation and stating a further email would be sent, probably to my spam folder - not received that further email to date. Was told that postage to return item was not covered by them notwithstanding their product being faulty. Would absolutely avoid this company and their products.
No customer support
I bought a screen protector and receive the wrong item. I have tried countless times to contact them but no response.
Also, I have a phone protector that has broken and again no response.
Disappointed with Otterbox’s unresponsive customer service
On 28 October 2024, l placed an order for a phone case, screen protector, power bank and a car USB port. I have not received any of these items, nor have l received any responses to multiple emails that l have sent regarding the status of my order.
It is disappointing to experience such delays and a lack of communication from a reputable brand like Otterbox. In contrast, my daughter, who ordered a case from Apple on the same day, received her delivery the next day.
I am now considering cancelling my order and purchasing a case from an alternative retailer that can meet my delivery expectations. I had hoped to trust in Otterbox for quality and service, but this experience has been extremely unsatisfactory.
I would like an update on my order or confirmation of cancellation and a refund if a resolution cannot be reached swiftly.
