A family-run company, One Traveller was started in 2007 by a highly experienced Tour Manager who specialised in escorting solo travel holidays. One Traveller has since gained a reputation as the UK’s number one singles holiday specialist for the over 50s and has won multiple publicly-voted awards.
What We Offer
All One Traveller holidays have many meals, drinks, excursions and extra touches included in the headline price. Every guest gets their own double room in our hand-picked four and five-star hotels, with no single supplement to pay.
We understand that the first step towards taking a solo holiday may feel like a giant leap, so we're here to ensure you have the perfect journey from start to finish. Malta and Gozo
Thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the holiday. The care and professionalism of everyone we dealt with was exceptional. The hotel was great and our local guide was extremely knowledgable and informative. The tour was well paced and we would definitely travel with One Traveller again.

We had a great set of people together…
We had a great set of people together we all got on really well. A choice of menus would be more useful as we didn't know what we were going to eat and some of the food I didn't eat. So I could have made an alternative choice in the hotel and outside restaurants.

My latest trip with the One Traveller
I have been travelling with the One Traveller since January 2018. Uzbekistan was trip 18, and it was an unforgettable experience. The itinerary was well organised, the Tour Manager was excellent and the local guide certainly knew her country very well and provided us with a wealth of information. Uzbekistan is a very interesting and amazing country to visit, and the one trip I would highly recommend to do. Friendly and polite people, tasty food and it's very clean every where.

Worth the cost
It's a bit pricey, but you feel like you've got your money's worth. A lot is included in the price and One Traveller takes time to seek out quality hotels and restaurants and unusual and fun experiences. Plus the tour managers and local guides are great. You feel well looked after.

Very well organised with a variety of…
Very well organised with a variety of experiences and activities. A good pace.
Very good tour manager who kept us all on track and made sure it felt inclusive for everyone.
Food could have been better on occasions but lovely highlights in farm house and last meal at monastery.
Disappointed with lack of a direct flight to Puglia. Wasted a whole day making our way to Puglia.

This was a great holiday unfortunately…spoilt by the desert camp.
This was a great holiday unfortunately spoilt by the night in the desert camp. Accommodation was fine, but poor hygiene in the food buffet both in the evening and at breakfast. You were then seated in an area which was rather like Butlins. Too much light pollution so you were unable to see the stars, and other campers who were partying so not exactly the peace and tranquility of the desert. Great shame as the rest of the holiday in Jordan was brilliant. Great hotels, experiences, fantastic tour manager and lovely company.

Always an Enjoyable Holiday
I have had 5 One Traveller holidays and thoroughly enjoyed every one.The holidays are well organised with an itinerary which includes plenty of places of interest and some time to explore alone if you want it.The price includes most meals,entry to places on the itinerary and a good hotel room for sole use
Usually you don't need much spending money as everything is included in the price you pay on booking.
I would recommend OneTraveller holidays if they offer a trip to a destination you want to visit.

Douro river cruise
Lovely well organised holiday, our two tour guides were great and very helpful, the excursions were very good, the ship was nice, the staff friendly and the food was excellent, l enjoyed my week on the Douro river.
I did expect as said to be greeted on arrival at airport, which was a little confusing, Gatwick is a large airport with more that one way in, so l made my way to the check in where l found our guides and the one travellers, so it would have been easier to have been told to meet at check in.

Every holiday has been wonderful. Tour Managers look after you with every aspect of your trip. Other guests are friendly, supportive and good fun.

Lovely well curated but leisurely holiday with lots of different activities. The one thing missing for me would have been a Levada walk. That would have made it 5 Star !
