The tour guide Gajendra we had for the great Indian rail tour was simply the best we have ever had. His kindness and patience has gone above and beyond. The history of India he related was so full of enthusiasm.
India as a country is absolutely breathtaking from the mountains in the foothills of the Himalayas to crossing the road in one of the cities.a truly splendid holiday

My wife and I have been on 2 river cruises with Saga and another planned for Christmas markets this year. We have had no problems at all dealing and booking with customer services. Unfortunately we have now experienced very poor service. I received a quote for the Switzerland Spectacular Rail Journeys which offered a 15% reduction, reference 33900787. Having tried on numerous occasions to follow the quotation up, spending many hours on the phone , eventually giving up after at least 30 minutes each time. Finally I got through today dealing with an assistant called Katrina. After relaying all our details I was then informed that the 15% reduction was now only 10%! She spoke to her manager who would only confirm the 10%. I felt shocked and hard done by and requested to speak to the manager. Oh dear sorry she is on her break. Oh dear she is then in a meeting. Katrina said she would inform her manager and get her to ring me within 72 hours. As you can see I am not pleased with the custom and support I received as I was prepared to pay my deposit for the original quote.
We would still love to go on this Swiss holiday 9-16th June 2027 as it coincides with both our 75th birthdays in June.

Vey helpful booking staff who took the time and trouble to find out the answer to the questions we had and call us back promptly. The agent concerned was also very pleasant to deal with and we look foward to enjoying our holiday next year with Saga.

First solo holiday since my husband passed, nervous but all went well. Picked up from home as expected, flights both ways very smooth. Hotel in Catalonia was fine, all inclusive. The single room had what you needed. Staff very helpful. Only negative was restaurant was more like a canteen but the choices were vast, something for everyone. It was a walking trip and met some very friendly people. From the booking aspect to arriving home at the end, could not fault Saga so very surprised at the negative reviews. Our Saga host Sam at the hotel was very much on the ball and nothing was too much for her, extremely helpful. I am now looking for my next trips to see parts of the world that I didn’t visit with my husband as I know I will be looked after well.

The Great Indian Rail Journey packs a punch. We covered so much ground in a fortnight and every detail of our journey was carefully planned and executed by our fabulous guide, Gajendra, and the local Indian team.

Booking, flights, and arrival managed by Saga were also seamless.

India is a jolt to the senses with magical landscapes and buildings alongside the buzz of modern India. The Golden Temple in Amritsar and the Taj Mahal were stand out occasions meeting every expectation.

The Great Indian Rail Journey has been a fabulous tour.
From our first contact with Saga for a quote, through to finalising and paying for the holiday our experience has been efficient and seamless.
We were greeted at the Delhi airport by Gaj who was our tour manager throughout the trip.
Everything has run smoothly. The logistics of the hotels, sightseeing, transfers and excursions were all handled by him in a most professional, calm and capable manner.
A lot of thought and planning has been put into every aspect of the itinerary so that we could relax and enjoy the many experiences throughout the trip.
The schedule was hectic but never exhausting due to Gaj’s expert planning.
All of the historical and religious sights lived up to or exceeded expectations.
Particular highlights were The Golden Temple at Amritsar, The Taj Mahal and Ranthambore National Park where our naturalist guide Kenny was extremely knowledgeable about the park and the wildlife.
There were local expert guides and drivers at some of the destinations and we also had an excellent driver and bus helper who kept us supplied with water, hand sanitiser and wipes throughout.
This is my fist visit to India and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see Indian life, history and culture but is happy to put themselves in the hands of local experts.

I received a supplemenrary holiday catalogue from Saga through the post which showed a holiday that i had not seen in any previous holiday brochures from Saga.
I phoned Saga and spoke to Graham who went through all details, dates discounts insurance etc and came up with a quote that I immediately accepted and booked straight away.
Throughout the conversation Graham remained positive and showed interest and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. Cannot praise him enough.

The Best of Singapore and Malaysia – Solo departure

A whistle stop tour around Singapore and parts of Malaysia in the company of a friendly group of people. With only 15 in the group (an excellent number) and full size coaches, the long journeys were extremely comfortable. The hotels stayed at were excellent. I have been on many Saga/Titan tours before but this was my first solo tour with the company. Several others thought it not as caring as other solo tours they had been on with other companies – with no welcome or farewell drink, and only one evening meal taken together, making cohesion within the group more difficult. We had 3 local guides, but unfortunately two of them were not good at presenting their subjects and strayed off topic. I enjoyed the tour but a criticism would be the end of the tour in Penang. Now home and correlating my photos with the itinerary, I feel the city tour was somewhat haphazard and it appears we missed out on a couple of places we should have seen. And it was widely thought that the following day, which was free, should have had at least an optional excursion. The hotel, though luxurious, is in the resort area and away from various attractions. Good if you just want to sit by the pool, but that wasn’t what many people were on the tour for. Fortunately a small group of us managed to organise a trip up the funicular to Penang Hill and to the Kek Lok Si Temple – that day for me being one of the highlights of the holiday. The chauffeur service to and from the airport was exemplary and one of the main reasons I travel with Saga.

I have just booked a holiday with Saga to go to Malta imn May 2027. The advisor was very good and sorted out the trip with the minimum of fuss. The cost was less than expected so a bonus there. Highly recommend them

Our first time on a small boat cruise on ship Amorena on the Croatia Dalmatian coast. A fantastic experience with staff & crew all very helpful in making this very enjoyable for the 30 guests! Food amazing! Tour guide Bobby so helpful & knowledgeable on history & geography . Places visited were just beautiful, even with an adjusted itinerary. Well done to the crew!!!!

I book a holiday over the phone for a week’s holiday at The International Collage, Canterbury. Tabitha was very helpful with the booking. She phone me back as she had a problem with getting information on the on holiday.
