Jack was helpful and knowledgeable giving me all the information I needed to successfully complete the booking of my holiday. He was charming to speak with and my first experience of Saga was first class due to his excellence.

Our first time on a small boat cruise on ship Amorena on the Croatia Dalmatian coast. A fantastic experience with staff & crew all very helpful in making this very enjoyable for the 30 guests! Food amazing! Tour guide Bobby so helpful & knowledgeable on history & geography . Places visited were just beautiful, even with an adjusted itinerary. Well done to the crew!!!!

I book a holiday over the phone for a week’s holiday at The International Collage, Canterbury. Tabitha was very helpful with the booking. She phone me back as she had a problem with getting information on the on holiday.

This review is for the booking procedure. I booked short notice for a November/December holiday. I spoke with a booking clerk, RUBY, who was extremely pleasant and helpful throughout. She made absolutely certain that each aspect of the booking was agreed and understood, and answered my questions forthrightly. The high quality of the staff that we deal with, booking staff, those that meet and greet at the airports, our holiday hosts make all the difference. This is why we book again and again with SAGA. Thank you all!

Excellent assistance after flight was unfortunately changed due to the airline and travelling times altered. Anthony was very helpful and informative and we thank him for his help. Very professional.

A couple of touring holidays I had selected before telephoning, weren't suitable for my mobility issues, so was advised that it was best not to book those. An alternative non touring holiday to a hosted hotel in Sri Lanka was suggested instead, with Saga holidays. There are a few included excursions from the hotel. Samantha was so understanding, patient, friendly, polite and professional in her role, and I warmed to this alternative holiday, and have now completed the booking with her. Thank you Samantha.

We have just returned from a Saga Special Interest holiday based in Northern Spain at the Juan de la Cosa hotel in Santona, It is a new Saga holiday on Art and History in the Basque Region and was led by Jason Webster who has written extensively about Spanish history. He was accompanied throughout the week by the hotel manager. They were enthusiastic, knowledgeable and supportive at all times.
The hotel is small, with a team of staff who really make Saga guests feel comfortable. Choices from the dinner menu are made a day in advance to ensure that freshly purchased and prepared dishes are offered and to reduce food waste. There was always a particularly good choice of locally caught fish.
On days when we lunched in the hotel a wide range of tapas was available.
Overall this holiday was a delight. It is being repeated in 2027.
I recommend that anyone booking this holiday reads at least one of Jason Webster's books about Spain : my recommendation would be 'Guerra' which, although it is mainly about the Civil War has sections which are very relevant to life in Spain - and elsewhere in Europe - today.

We have just returned from a wonderful 17 day trip coast to coast in Canada, made really special by our tour manager Daniel Rogerson.
To organise a group of 48 people can not be easy but Daniel managed with his organisational skills, sense of fun and wit, which he exercised constantly on the long coach journeys.
The itinerary included some spectacular locations and there was a choice of additional excursions to suit most tastes.
The hotels were all in good locations and provided suitable accommodation for short stays.
The door to door transfer to the airport and back again was an added bonus and went very smoothly.
There was only one meal provided during the whole of the holiday so we were fortunate to have Daniel provide us with details of numerous eateries that catered for breakfast, lunch and dinner

Booked online very easy on the coast to coast Canadian 17 day tour , it was fantastic had a fabulous time . We had a great tour guide Daniel he was brilliant . Everything went to plan . One down side though no meals apart from 1, I think at least breakfast to be included in the future it’s hard work trying to find eating places especially when you are so tired . So come on saga sort it out please ?

I felt completely well taken care of from start to finish. There was great communication, and no attempt to hard sell me anything as I had found with other holiday companies. I spoke to three different people at different stages during the booking process, and every one of them was friendly, helpful and completely professional in ensuring that I got exactly what I wanted, at the best price. And speaking of price, the quote I received for my trip was as good as the best deal I found on a price comparison website.

Ship was M Y Amorena visited many beautiful towns and some islands. We walked & sailed through National Parks with our wonderful tour manager Bobby with his vast knowledge of his beloved Croatia. I can't praise the 7 staff on board enough! Captain Ivan, 1st mate Ivo & sailor Ivan instilled in us a feeling of safety & relaxation by the way they quietly & confidently went about their duties & all with a smile on their faces when our paths crossed! Chef Marko & Sous-chef Dusan produced a delicious array of meals from their tiny galley, beautifully presented. As a vegetarian I was impressed & grateful for the care taken with my meals. Our waiter Nemanja was so professional & efficient we hardly knew he was there until he topped up our glasses!! The dining salon was spotless & inviting at all times making our dining experience really special.I think all 18 cabins were in use & we have to praise and thank Tanya our "dancing queen" housekeeper for her tireless daily work cleaning & replenishing our quarters. Her beautiful, smiling face & cheerful disposition was a joy to behold!! We enjoyed all the evening entertainment ranging from the talented, traditional singers and musicians to the singalong duo and the dancing on the last night. We also experienced cruising with the sails up and 2 opportunities to swim off the boat's stern. My mobility issues were addressed & dealt with symathetically by Bobby & all the staff on board & by the lovely other guests that we were privileged to cruise with & for that I thank you all from the bottom on my heart. You made this holiday complete & unforgettable. We recommend this wonderful holiday experience to everyone!! Lynn & David Keetley

Adriatic Explorer Holiday , stayed on this wonderful yacht the MY Amorena for a week, met some lovely people, we were looked after by Bobby who did a wonderful job, all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, Thank you
