Brilliant destination, marvellous Tour Manager, fascinating local guide, wonderful food, excellent company - just amazing. Totally worth every penny.

Good organization from time of booking to end of holiday. Friendly and dedicated tour manager and local guides. Interesting excursions and quality hotel. Appreciated that all meals and drinks were included.

The holiday in Uzbekistan ( 10.10.25-21.10.25) was a very well organised adventure: the itinerary, the hotels, the food - even for vegetarians, the transportation, Roberto our TM, Anait our local guide- all excellent!!!
Uzbekistan is fascinating, and it was a truly amazing holiday.

This was my first holiday with One Traveller and I’m already looking at next year’s brochure. The trip was extremely well organised, with good hotels and excellent experiences. It provided us with opportunities the independent traveller just wouldn’t have. The leader was pleasant and efficient. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company.

I have had 5 holidays with One traveller and they have all been faultless. The tour managers have all been great and the locations wonderful. The only one that did not go that well was the Champagne Tour due to the weather being terrible BUT that was not the fault of One Traveller. Keep up the good work.

I enjoyed my Greek Odyssey trip thank you. However, it identify my own limitations and I would prefer a slower pace. My 2026 holiday is booked with One Traveller which I believe will be at a more leisurely pace.

I have travelled several times and been delighted with everything. I recently went to Canada the holiday was wonderful but when i needed some assistance from One Traveller had no response to my emails. It was an important factor when booking a solo holiday that the travel company would be there to assist me if needed. I received automated replies but nothing else.

Having experienced the Albanian disorganised fiasco (see review of the 16 September) One Traveller has acknowledged that they did not reach their 'high standards' and 'fall short of expectations'.

As my recent experience 'may have shaped your overall view of One Traveller' they have offered me a £100 credit in the 'hope that this will restore your confidence in us'.

I have no confidence in One Traveller and will not be holidaying with them again as, should there be a similar holiday experience, their customer care would again be non-existent.

A credit, therefore, is an empty gesture.

I have just returned from the Austrian Lakes trip. It was my first trip with One Traveller and I can honestly say they deserve the excellent reputation they have.

Steven Taylor their Tour Manager was exemplary. He was extremely hardworking; has a warm friendly manner, full of cheerful bonhomie, and a great sense of humour. Steven managed to combine informality with a professional, business like approach to managing the group; paying constant attention to each individual’s needs and every detail. Not an easy task!
He should be commended for that, especially as he was called in at the last minute to cover for someone else. Whatever they’re paying him, he’s worth double! If he is representative of the calibre of their other Tour Managers I will most certainly be booking with One Traveller again.

I was less impressed with the hotel used unfortunately. It sells itself as being a ‘family run’ establishment and I gather has been used by One Traveller for a long time. However I had a couple of experiences which led me to conclude that there is a certain amount of complacency from the Owner; that for me has created a feeling of : “This is my house so my rules” atmosphere. Corporate hotels have their issues too of course and perhaps the ideal lies somewhere between both styles. That said I hope One Traveller keeps an eye on that and doesn’t allow it to develop any further as it could, inevitably, affect their reputation, which would be a great pity.

As for me, I am going to spend the next few days going through the latest One Traveller brochure as I can’t wait to decide where I’m going next with them!

This was my third tour with One Traveller.

Our Tour Manager, Tom Middleton, was exceptional. Tom is a professional who worked tirelessly to ensure that the needs of all guests were met. He is friendly, courteous, has great leadership skills, well organised and has a great sense of humour. He is a real asset to the company.

Our ship for this cruise was the MV Fantazija. The ship has good facilities; I had a spacious cabin which was cleaned daily. The majority of meals were taken on board, some of which were average. I would have preferred to have dined in local restaurants.

This region of Croatia is stunning. The itinerary could not be faulted.

I would certainly consider another holiday with One Traveller.

Many thanks, Tom, for making this holiday a memorable experience. I won’t forget our paddle boarding and swimming sessions from the yacht.

I was very impressed with the organisation of the Stockholm holiday 4 August 2025. It was really well planned and varied. I would certainly recommend it.

The holiday group were friendly and everyone seemed to mix freely with each other. The tour operator Alison was excellent, very helpful, friendly and approachable. She made sure everyone was happy.

They offer a wide range of varying holidays suitable for mature solo passengers like myself who want to see the world, experience different cultures and learn about the history of countries. It is great to travel with like minded people from different backgrounds and to have a knowledgeable Tour Manager always on hand.

I am booked on my 22nd holiday with OT. The reason i travel with them is that their impeccable friendly service makes me feel safe and secure.
Also I know I shall be travelling with like minded people many of whom have become good friends over the years.

I have had two holidays with One Traveller(OT)  and I enjoyed them.  But I think the best way to judge a company is how they deal with a crisis.  And in the case of my trip to Morocco in April, OT failed spectacularly.  Our morning return connecting flight with Royal Air Maroc (RAM) was cancelled.  We were trapped in Marrakesh airport for over 10 hours in sweltering conditions with inadequate and low quality refreshments. Eventually, having been told we were going to a hotel for the night we were bussed from Marrakesh airport to Casablanca where we were dumped unceremoniously in Casablanca airport at midnight.  It was 3 am before we finally got our heads down in a dirty hotel, which oddly had no towels, courtesy of RAM. I had set an alarm for 6:30am for the return journey to the airport. It is not OT's fault the flight was cancelled.  But it WAS their responsibility to ensure we were treated with courtesy and respect, which we absolutely were not.  Apparently OT had a hotel and coach booked on standby - but chose to leave us trapped in the airport at the mercy of RAM - bearing in mind the group contained a number of people into their 80's.  During the event I texted and phoned OT's so called "Emergency help line" several times to try at least to get some information.  I got no response.
On our return OT said we had to claim compensation directly from RAM - this is NOT true. In legal terms I have no contract with RAM, my contract is with OT. I paid One Traveller for my return journey - they should have taken responsibility for taking care of us in Morocco, and are responsible for paying compensation.  Yet OT said repeatedly to the group to deal with RAM. Later they said to ignore any communication from RAM.  They then said they were dealing with it - they were negotiating reasonable compensation.  When chased, 4 months after the event, they said "I am truly sorry and share your disappointment that this matter has not yet been resolved, despite the ongoing communications between all parties involved"...but despite their alleged "ongoing communication" they had assumed the matter had been settled...so I'm not sure what the ongoing communication was about!
So in a crisis it seems One Traveller's approach is to shirk their legal responsibility to their customers and to lie continuously in the hope that we will get bored and give up. It's a shame - it had been a good holiday - but now I know their approach when things go wrong, I'm not sure I can travel with them again.

The tour guide Alison Bisset made the holiday special. She was attentive and went out of her way to be helpful.
The holiday could do with one extra day as there is so much to see.

A holiday to Morocco in April 2025 was generally good. However, the journey back to UK was a nightmare. This was mainly the fault of Royal Air Maroc. Thirty clients aged between late 50s and mid 80s kept for nearly 4 hours in the departure lounge of Marrakesh Airport. It was over hot, with no water and no information. For another 8 hours we were kept elsewhere at the airport with again misinformation or no information, limited and inadequate refreshments. We were finally coached to Casablanca, via Casablanca Airport we queued to get new boarding passes. We arrived at a substandard hotel in Casablanca at 3 am to leave for the airport at 9 am. DUTY OF CARE WAS NEGLECTED.
Since then, One Traveller has dealt inadequately with complaints. Our contract was with OT, not with Royal Air Maroc.

We have been told not to correspond with RAM, and then told RAM dealing with, OT dealing with; someone would get back to us etc. etc. Four months on and no further forward. Looks as though OT are hoping we will quietly go away. The cancelled flight was not One Traveller's fault and up to that point, I enjoyed the holiday. The tour guides were excellent. Unfortunately, the whole holiday was tainted by the last 36 hours. Our contract was with OT. We entrusted our care to them. They failed us, especially in the post-holiday communication..

12 September 2025. I emailed Ian Darkin, CEO, OT on 8 September complaining that issue still not resolved. This was before my original TP Review and OT response. (No response from OT yet.) And this gives lie to OT response to review They knew issue not resolved

Our tour manager Simon was always around with information and assistance. The arrangements for all our activities were mostly perfect, Switzerland itself is a wonderful place and all in all I had a wonderful time.
