Ogi is Wales’s leading alternative network provider, installing a Gigabit-capable digital network in towns and villages across south Wales. It’s next generation stuff, giving local families and businesses great value ultrafast and ultra-reliable services, from a talented local team.

Bringing a full fibre network to your community takes a lot of planning, digging, cabling and installing – but, don’t worry, if we need to dig in your street, it should only take a few weeks. Once it’s in, your full fibre network is capable of being up-cycled continually, so you won’t be seeing our diggers again for a very long time, unless we need to quickly repair something.

Once it’s installed, full fibre broadband is pretty reliable. But of course things can go wrong from time to time with the network, your equipment or our services. We monitor the network 24/7, dealing with known problems straight away; so even if the Customer Care team isn’t available, our Ogi Engineers will still be busy repairing any issues we spot – hopefully before you even notice.

Excellent service outweighs the frustration

Really grateful for Rory's help and persistence when phoning to complain about the lack of progress on restoring wifi.
Having not been impressed with the lack of progress in resolving the original diagnosis, Rory went away to look into everything, got back to me as, and when, promised. It turned out to be a different issue altogether for which he arranged the fix and with time wifi was restored. And he persisted in getting back to me to ensure everything was good.
We've been with ogi since 2021 and always been happy with connectivity (the teenagers and a home worker), I hated the idea that the same service didn't exist when things go wrong- really grateful to Rory for proving me wrong.

Had a great experience with my new Ogi…

Had a great experience with my new Ogi setup. Moved in to a house that had Ogi fibre installed and therefore couldn’t set up an account until the previous owners had moved out but once this was sorted by Alex Locke she arranged for an engineer, James to arrive the same day and set up the service in no time at all. Very happy 😊

Ogi is the best provider you can go…

Ogi is the best provider you can go with any issue they will solve it within minutes,
I pay so less for my internet ,I’ve been with so many provider and they have been awful scamming and constantly switching me off,
I call ogi I tell them my situation they are happy to help if your good to them there good to you, happy customer:)

This company is superb

This company is superb. Community Sales Advisor Paul was very knowledgeable and informative and engineers Liam and James were on time, and quick and efficient in installing full fibre broadband. No mess, no fuss, easy to switch suppliers and an excellent experience all round. Also very good value.

Awful company

Awful company , we changed from OGI to Sky , the reason being the service kept dropping and as we had an electric car charger it was causing problems , they now want a full years payment for cancelation , and we're very threatening from the start saying if we didn't pay the would contact dept collectors .
Our advice would be to stay away from this company .

Internet went down

Internet went down, had to call Ogi to see if it was on my end or perhaps there was a downage at Ogi's end, talked with Cassie, who despite sounding really ill (get better soon Cassie), was able to sort the problem with a minimum of fuss, have had no problems with Ogi since we joined them some two to three years ago now, and have no hesitation in recomending them.

Lovely people

Lovely people. The technical installation boys steff and Will were really friendly installing it was quick and easy 😊straightforward ! No pushy sales just a fantastic company. Would highly recommend this company.

If I could leave 0 star I would

I have been hung up on 3 times this morning by various people in your call centre!

Trying to sort out my broadband that is running at a speed of 5mb when we pay over £50 a month for 300 is crazy! Trying to work from home is extremely painful!

Promised call backs that’s don’t happen, asked for a complaint to be opened on the 21st January that also didn’t happen!

Service is appalling

Ended contract early they told me £130 then 2 days later £150 I went to pay it then £395 they can take me to court i am a pensioner they are thieves

Been with Ogi 2 years now ,as most prr er pole no one likes the increase after year one , but no one else has super fast broadband , good speed can drop out and front like going around corners so weak upstairs,
Never had the need to ring them so can’t confirm thier service if you. Email them for some technical advice ie range extenders they never reply
So in a nutshell shell miners find good speed decent price can’t comment on service and I hope I don’t need

Prompt attention to a potentially serious problem

A guy from OpenReach knocked my door this morning threatening the cut my line as it was hanging too low over the road! I called Ogi straight way and explained the issue to a very helpful person who made some calls and came back to me with a plan of action. Only 10 mins later, three Ogi vans arrives, including a cherry-picker and within half an hour the problem was sorted and Mr OpenReach was happy. The Ogi guys explained what they had done and how the issue had occurred, checked all my connections and my line, and even insisted I tried my internet search while they were still here. So thank you to Charlie and the crew - very relieved, and very impressed!

Worst provider on the market

Worst provider on the market. Poor customer service and terrible broadband too. After many complaints you just get ignored. Best thing we did was to leave them. Was hesitant of joining them and being hounded on the doorstep by them too glad to see the back of them. If you have problems broadband on a weekend all the best because you won’t get any response off them either

Constant broadband failures

Like many people on here my Internet is now so unreliable that I use my 5G on the phone instead.

Its cuts out continually so rhat its impossible to use for work whether its the middle if the day or 10 at night. I was sold 1GB broadband and if I run the eero speed test it suggest I get 950mb which would be great. Except I clearly don't get that and every other speed test I run with any other (including ogis own speed test on their website) shows me getting between 10-30% of the promised speed. Couple that with the cutting out and it's unusable.

I have reported it and heard nothing. I'm really gutted as the service to install was brilliant and it promised so much but I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy now.

This has happened virtually since week 1 of the service but has got so much worse since January (it only got installed 22nd December).

Update 01/03/2026

One reply to my complaints. When I pointed out that their information was fundamentally incorrect and provided the evidence they haven't replied since. That was 3 weeks ago. I also wrote saying I wanted to start the 30 day notice to cancel as its useless. No reply to that.

Genuinely the worst effort ever seen. Maybe a letter to their new CEO might get more response.

Ogi has excellent customer service…

Ogi has excellent customer service ,great prices ,and they are local .All installation work was done speedily and all staff have been friendly and helpful.When a problem arose it was sorted very quickly .

Starts off fine.

Starts off fine, you think you're with welsh company, and getting real fibre internet Great!, and its only £23 amazing!

Then you find out thats not really true, and they lied as its actually not real fibre internet
but you say hey "ill let it go, give them a 2nd chance" and boom your contract finishes (doesnt renew) and your bill skyrockets to £56 a month with only a email in your spam folder to inform you to phone them IMMEDIATELY to resign a new contract (which like most i didnt see till after the fact)

Not only did they charge me the £56 they also now trying to chase me up for another £56 even though I cancelled my contract with them on the phone.
which by the way they sent straight to a debt collector and didnt even try to ask me for it and havent even asked to send the router back.

Pretty sure just another greedy business whose found a way to trick old people with FAKE fibre and FLAKY contracts leaning in their own favor.

Save yourselves the trouble and go with someone who gives you REAL fibre connection's and solid contracts. Staff are lovely people just Ogi screwed us and left me and my family having to change providers over Christmas period!

I went back to Plusnet over 10yrs had no problems and just annoyed that the 1st welsh internet company is treating people this way.
