The process was simple, the questions were not challenging (for me), and the approval was acknowledged very quickly.

Where to start...
I ordered a new bike using the finance offered by the supplier and paid over £1700 deposit to Novuna. The bike supplier went into administration and liquidation before supplying any goods.

So clearly the bike supplier has gone out of business and clearly no bike ever materialised, so you'd think it would be a straightforward process to get my deposit back. But you'd be wrong.
The latest promise via their complaints portal was a claims handler would be in touch. Still waiting...

If you see Novuna as the provider of any consumer finance for goods you're considering purchasing, I'd think very carefully about proceeding.

In the meantime I've now had to pay a credit card bill for something I never received (while Novuna hold onto my money) and contact my card provider for assistance. Next stop is to wait for yet more time to pass then go to the Financial Ombudsman I guess.

As I can’t reply directly to your replies, I’ll edit mine. You didn’t receive my claim ‘less than a week ago’, you received it on the 7th September 2026 at 12:33, so please do not post inaccurate information.
If you would like me send you your email confirmation of my claim and your reply asking me to set up a login on your claims portal, I’m happy to do so so you can edit your reply.
After setting up my claim on your portal on 7th September, I received nothing from you. I then queried the lack of progress and it was only then you asked for further information.

Your email response today said you’d only just found out about the supplier going into administration. Again, I informed you on 7th September this was the case and I also informed you they had been almost immediately liquidated (publicly available information).

While I appreciate you have processes to follow, I’m struggling to understand why a ‘reputable’ finance provider cannot be more proactive in resolving matters like these. Nor do I understand why you choose to post inaccurate information on a public forum.

Here we go again...
During a recorded phone conversation on 23rd September Novuna admitted they are holding my deposit (almost £1800) for a finance agreement that never went ahead as the retailer went out of business. So the funds never left their account yet they refuse to refund me as they 'need to meet with administrators'. I cannot see what the administrators have to do with this...Novuna never paid the retailer and the agreement never went live.
During the conversation of the 23rd, I was promised weekly updates. 10 days later...absolutely nothing. I shouldn't be surprised, it speaks volumes of their attitude to customer service.
At least they've edited their reply to remove false information after being challenged.

Almost 4 weeks into the process now, another 4 to go before I can take this to the Financial Ombudsman.

After my last update on 3rd October, someone emailed on 4th October full of apologies, promising they'd call on the morning of 5th.
Well it's the evening of the 6th now and still nothing.
What a shambles of a business.
Can someone in a senior position (who can actually keep promises and give answers) ring me...

Applied for finance to buy a PC. Application took a few minutes, and I was redirected back to the seller to finish buying my order.

The reason why I'm writing this review it's because personally I feel the company Novuna is the best loan company in the world and recommend them to anyone.
They have clarity, are understanding with a kind and caring nature.
They are an amazing team and I won't go anywhere else thank you novuna team and thank you for being you.

If I could give it no stars I would. I just want to pay off my loan. I tried on the internet but I just will not accept my email and date of birth. I think I KNOW both of them. I ask to re-sent and the re-sent lasts all of 30 seconds before saying expired. Called and was told long wait and that they would call back in 23 minutes. Been several hours no call. Called again and spoke to another lady who tried again to get me online and she could not. Informed could pay over the phone. Spent so long agreed that I would call back at lunch as at work and she gave me the same telephone number that I would need to wait 23 minutes on. NOT ACCEPTABLE>

Very easy and user friendly, so far so good.

Have no bother with this company. Everything is going smoothly. Have had no reason to contact anybody. Hopefully everything will keep going great.
