Terrible service. Avoid at all costs. I have chased them 4 times to get clarity on why they have not returned by deposit. I have been told that it would be returned after 7, 10, then 14 days. 30 days later still nothing. Have filed formal complaint with them. No response.

Arriva mail conferma. Il giorno del noleggio ad Istanbul l' indirizzo sulla conferma era FALSO è stato solo grazie al nostro NCC che siamo arrivati dove risultava la nostra prenotazione che era stata subappaltata a Green motor. Dopo un' ora al telefono con operatore lì la prenotazione risulta da loro cancellata. Noi in sei senza mezzo e nessuna assistenza

Ad oggi è passato un mese di mail, avvocato ecc...ancora non ho ricevuto indietro nulla.

Viaggio molto e mai avuto con nessun noleggio un problema

Sobald Ihr trotz Vollkaso Versicherung Probleme mit dem Auto habt, wird nach einer Weile nicht mehr geantwortet bzw. wenn man den Support anruft, wird man mit einer neuen nummer kontaktiert, die mit euch dann die Sache nochmal durchgehen, aber dann erreicht man, weder telefonisch noch per Nachricht auch unter dieser Nummer niemanden.

Der Mietwagen war eine Katastrophe. Die Fahrlichter gingen nicht richtig, die Bremsscheiben waren völlig durch, bzw. am letzten Riemen. Ab 110/120 km/h hat das Auto angefangen zu vibrieren.

Der Kilometerstand war auf 70.000 km, was ich nie und nimmer glauben schenke.

Trotzdessen wurde das Auto nicht ausgetauscht. Die Begründung dafür war, dass ich mich ausser Istanbul befand und die nicht dahin zum austauschen kommen könnten. Ich müsste wohl selber nach Istanbul fahren um den Mietwagen zu tauschen... Ich bin die Vertragsunterlagen durchgegangen und es gibt kein Hinweis, dass kein Austausch ausserhalb Istanbul stattfinden kann.

Ich bin gespannt, ob ich die Kaution zurückerhalte.

Ich warte das mal ab und werde gerichtlich gegen die Autovermietung vorgehen.

Everyone, please steer clear of this company called NOKTA—they are nothing but highway robbers. I arrived at Istanbul Airport on April 22nd to pick up my rental car. The agent made my family and me wait by the roadside for nearly an hour before finally driving up. He then deliberately claimed there was an issue with the card machine and charged the security deposit twice—18,000 Lira each time—setting the stage to swallow my deposit later. I had purchased full coverage insurance from him to ensure all risks were covered. On April 25th, I had a tire blowout. When I contacted NOKTA customer service, they refused to acknowledge the insurance and insisted I was responsible for the costs myself. Unfamiliar with the area, I wasted the better part of a day seeking help and ended up paying 8,300 Lira out of pocket. After returning the car on April 26th, the company kept stalling on the deposit refund. I repeatedly urged them via the VIPCARS rental platform's customer service; a few days ago, they finally sent an invoice listing toll charges—including a "20% tax" applied multiple times to those tolls. In reality, I never drove on any toll roads in Istanbul; I spent two days walking and one day taking public transport, using the car solely for trips to and from the airport. After some negotiation, they agreed to refund only a little over 5,000 Lira. Furthermore, they refused to refund it to my credit card, insisting on a bank transfer, and then deducted half of the transfer fees from the amount. Out of my 36,000 Lira deposit, over 30,000 Lira was effectively stolen. Combined with the 8,300 Lira I lost on the tire repair, I was robbed of a total of nearly 43,000 Lira! I tried to seek redress through VIPCARS, but they were completely dismissive. I suspect VIPCARS and NOKTA are in cahoots. I have rented cars abroad many times, but this is the first time I’ve ever encountered such a predatory company. Please, everyone, stay away from them!

the whole thing is a nightmare, from the drunk aggressive guy who dropped the car, to the car that smelled like a alcohol and beer, I have to wash it my self, and tell now I'm waiting for my deposit after 4 months ...

Don't ever try to waste your time and money with this company to few bucks ...

We got our deposit back after 6 months. Contact your bank, the bank will get involved. Dispute the transaction. Contact the embassy of both your country and Turkey, the embassy will advise what to do next. Write a complaint to the Consumer Protection Office. You can also contact the Turkish tourism police. Do not ignore such cases.

Ich warne jeden von euch vor Nokta Autovermietung, denn das ist eine korrupt geführte Firma, die wie eine Mafia agiert. Seit über fünf Monaten halten die meine 500-Euro-Kaution und es wurde angebucht und nicht blockiert , ohne irgendeinen Grund. Es ist ein wiederkehrendes Muster, wie man in den Bewertungen liest: Die Kaution wird willkürlich einbehalten, und die Kommunikation ist katastrophal. Wählt unbedingt eine seriöse Firma mit einem Standort am Flughafen, um euch nicht von diesen Betrügern ausnehmen zu lassen.

Oh, what a fantastic experience with these wonderful people who master the art of trapping deposits for exactly 60 working days, because why make it simple? I was initially promised that once I returned the car, I'd get my deposit right back, but apparently, that's too easy. Now, sometimes the manager casually mentions 45 days, then, out of nowhere, sends me a screenshot claiming 60 days because clarity is overrated. I booked through Discover Cars and politely raised a claim, only to be told to contact the company directly with no real help. So, in simple terms, don’t bother booking with them—they seem affordable, but, surprise, they never actually refund your deposit. I’ve now spent 55 days waiting, and guess what? They’ve totally stopped responding.

The car was returned squeaky clean, with video proof both at pickup and drop-off. All dues were paid, and the car was in perfect condition, yet this company is utterly useless. Honestly, I’d rather pay a bit more somewhere else than keep pounding my head against this unbreakable wall.

Do not book with this company ever, stay away. I had to wait for an hour to pick the car up and when I was returning I was asked to pick up a driver on the way as there was no one available at the airport. To top this I now have to wait for my deposit for 40-60 days never heard of anywhere else so I'm at their mercy to whether I'll get it at 40 days or 60 unbelievable.
They don't even deserve a one star ⭐

I rented a car in Istanbul from Noktauto, same bad experience, they are just scammers. I returned the car with perfect condition and they confirmed that. They promised the deposit to be back within three weeks. After passing five weeks, they stopped responding to my messages and emails. This is a fraud company, it is unbelievable how this kind of company still functioning without legal actions. Any idea how can I get back my 500 euros deposit.

​Deceptive Location: Contrary to their advertisement, this agency is not located at the airport. This misrepresentation creates a high-pressure situation for travelers who arrive expecting immediate transportation, only to find themselves stranded at an off-site location.
​Coercive Pricing Tactics: Upon arrival, staff claimed my credit card could not be processed. This appeared to be a deliberate tactic to force an immediate $200 surcharge. Because I was in a vulnerable position and required a vehicle, I was left with no choice but to comply with this unauthorized fee.
​Exorbitant Damage Claims: Following the rental, I was charged 400 Euros (approximately $435 USD) for a minor surface scratch on the door. To provide context, the standard market rate for such a cosmetic repair in Morocco is approximately $60.
​Conclusion: This agency appears to utilize "bait-and-switch" tactics and predatory billing to extract inflated fees from tourists. Their business model relies on exploiting travelers who have limited options in a foreign country.
​Recommendation: For your financial safety and peace of mind, I strongly advise booking with a transparent, internationally recognized rental provider instead. Do not risk your travel budget with this establishment

Achtung, Betrüger! Kaution von 350€ wurde direkt eingezogen und nach Rückgabe des Autos einfach einbehalten. Angebliche Begründung war, ich hätte einen Hund im Auto gehabt, denn man hätte ja Hundehaare im Auto gefunden. Ich besitze keinen Hund, noch besitzt irgendwer in meiner Familie oder im Freundeskreis einen Hund. Als Beweis wurde ein Foto im Sonnenlicht von einigen Staubkörnern gesendet. Absolute Frechheit. Es wurde sich auf eine Vertragsstrafe berufen, auf Widerspruch wurde nicht eingegangen.

Kompletter Scam also. Wenn man sich die Bewertungen so anschaut hat das Ganze auch System. Ganz üble Masche.

Des escrocs nokta et b&j cars, expérience à Tanger : on a eu un véhicule essence alors que nous avions réservé un véhicule diesel, le montant de la caution ne passe pas alors on a payé des frais supplémentaires et le pire c'est au retour une rayure "surprise " qui apparaît et ils ont pris 3500mad pour réparation, nous attendons un remboursement de l'assurance prise chez vipcar. Des jeunes incompétents qui n'inspire pas confiance et des responsables qui organisent des arnaques. NE LOUER PAS SURTOUT PAS, LEUR PRIX CONCURENTIEL EST COMPENSER PAR DES ARNAQUES.

Warning about Nokta Autos in Istanbul, Turkey.

I rented a car in Istanbul, Turkey. When returning the vehicle, the staff confirmed everything was fine.
However, 6 hours later my credit card was charged.

When I contacted them, they could not verify whether the damage was from my rental vehicle, and after March 1st they became unreachable.

No evidence or photos were provided.
Please be cautious when renting from this company in Istanbul.

Pour ce qui me concerne la location était prévu à rabat la dame avait une combine dont il faut se méfie c’est qu’elle tape une somme qui dépasse la norme ex:17000€ au lieu de 1700 pour la garantie de la caution donc automatiquement la banque refuse le paiement et la nana te propose soit d’annuler la location ou prendre une assurance à eux qui te coûte 15€/jour tu vois la combine comme on ne peux pas faire marche arrière donc tu payes au minimum 6€/jour donc à bon entendeur salut

Finger weg von diesem Autovermieter. Die Kaution wurde von der Kreditkarte abgebucht (nicht geblockt) und nicht zurück gezahlt! Der gemietet PKW war bei Übergabe dreckig, Der Mietvertrag war in türkischer Sprache, den kein Mensch versteht! Absoluter Albtraum!

Avoid! Booked a car in Marrakesh but was asked to pay an extra 100 euros at the desk for out of hours pick up and drop off. This charge was not disclosed in advance. I declined and did not rent the car. Very disappointing lack of transparency.

Rented a car. They took the deposit out from my credit card, instead of blocking it.

I gave the car back in perfect condition.

3 months later. I still have not got my money back.
