Report came through very quickly and was very thorough. Email replies were also very quick.

Brilliant experience all round. Easy to get booked in, made a couple of changes to the booking date and they accommodated brilliantly.

Helen came round and completed the inspection. Very friendly and knowledgeable, great communication with when she was going to be here and carried on with that on the day. A lot of detail sent in the report and lots of photos included so everything is clear and all NHBC guidelines are stated with each issue

Really pleased with the service provided by this company. I was initially in two minds about having a snagging survey carried out but, after completing on my new build, I found that a number of issues I previously identified myself hadn’t been rectified, which caused concern as to what else might be problematic. I therefore got in touch with New Home Quality Control and so glad that I did - Helen was lovely and absolutely brilliant and thorough with her report.

I had a brilliant experience in using New Home Quality Control Ltd to do the snagging report on my new build home. They were very understanding when I had to change dates with them not once but twice.

Had the pleasure of Orlando to carry out the inspection and he is a credit to the company. He was very thorough and the report he produced was very clear and concise. It was money well spent and highlighted things I would not have been able to find.

Happily recommend and use them again if the need should arise in the future. Great service.

We were recommended New Home Quality Control by a friend who had used them and had a good experience. We had Joe come and do our snagging list and he was very friendly and professional, he answered all our questions and asked me if there was anything I’d noticed so far. He was very thorough and found lots of issues with our new build house that we had no idea weren’t finished to the correct standard! It was well worth the £449 we paid for our 4 bed house and we can now rest assured that the builders for our estate will hopefully finish the house to a higher standard!

Really happy with the service from the team. Lee Challenger was great at getting the appointment booked in quickly, and we didn’t have to wait long at all.

Glen Pitman carried out the inspection and was really good throughout. Glen gave me a call that morning to let me know he was on his way, which was appreciated. The report was thorough and picked up a number of things that we wouldn’t have noticed ourselves.

Overall, a really straightforward and professional service. Would definitely recommend.

Start to finish the team have been super pleasant, talking us through the different types of inspections and accommodating for delays. Cameron came to do the inspection and was so lovely. Very professional and down to earth. He explained the found snags in a way we could understand. Honestly can't recommend the company enough

Positives:
1) New home inspection carried out by Paul who was excellent. The subsequent report was of a very high standard, highlighting relevant points in detail. Very pleased with the outcome.
2) The New Home Quality Control office appear to be very proactive when distributing documents & invoices etc.
3) Very reasonable fees with only a low deposit paid initially.

Negatives:
1) A lack of communication at times when trying to arrange property access. I requested three times whether access had been agreed with the site before finding out it had been agreed four days prior. Maybe just feedback to the Customer.
2) Slight confusion regarding email addresses. Regardless of who responds, every email seems to come from Lee Challenger’s email.
3) Lastly, it would be good to address Customers by name in emails which comes across as more professional. None of the emails I received (& there are quite a few) addressed me by name. Just my opinion though.

Stefan carried out the inspection in our house. He worked long hours to produce the detailed report in the given timescale. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to buy a new build property. 👍

I was initially hesitant to have a report on our new build home as we were very happy with the build but I’m so glad I did have a visit as 81 issues were flagged by Helen McKenzie. Helen was very professional and detailed during her visit and although highly complimentary about the standard of construction I did feel it was well worth the cost as I would not have spotted all of the issues.

Easy to book/arrange. Report was easy to understand. Had a bit of back and forth with the developer which they handled well and persisted for me which was appreciated.

The team were very helpful and professional. On the day Joe our inspector was really kind and went beyond the scope of inspection to answer questions and provide support where needed.

Paul was great, took his time and covered all aspects of the house. Was really friendly and made you feel at ease. Would highly recommend them for snagging.

I'm really impressed with the service from New Home Quality Control. They were very understanding when there was a delay before the survey could take place and kept me fully informed of the date and time of the visit.

The survey itself was extremely thorough, picking up on a number of things I would never have noticed myself. I received a very detailed report (of 34 pages), complete with photographs, within minutes of making payment and less than 48 hours after the survey had been carried out.

An excellent service and, in my opinion, an essential investment for anyone buying a new-build property - highly recommended. Thank you!

Helen came to our new house to do us a snagging report this week. She was so nice and friendly. Very approachable and professional. She completed her report super quick so that we could get it forwarded to our housing developer. Definitely a 5 star service. I can't recommend this company enough. Great service at a great price!

I fully recommend NHQC to anyone who has a new home, it’s life’s biggest financial investment so why not invest a tiny percentage in a surveyor who has professional experience in areas you may know nothing about. Don’t take the development’s or the NHBC’s word for it, have the peace of mind.

The “snagger” Tony, arrived on time and was a very polite chap with a life career in the building industry , he explained the process and asked if I have any concerns straight away, before setting off surveying my new home.

He found, wrote and explained within a detailed report everything so both myself and the developer could understand.

I’d say 75% of the total snags found, I most certainly wouldn’t have ever known, had it not been without his experience.

A professional man, down to earth and great mannerisms socially to have a conversation with.

I’ve rebooked for a thermal inspection in the coming winter months.

Glen was excellent from start to finish. He carried out our pre-completion inspection thoroughly and explained everything clearly without making minor issues sound worse than they were.

What I particularly appreciated was how approachable and responsive he was afterwards. I had a few follow-up questions and he took the time to give clear, practical advice and explain what was and wasn’t a genuine concern.

He was knowledgeable, professional and reassuring throughout, and the inspection gave us much more confidence going into completion. I’d definitely recommend Glen to anyone buying a new-build property and wanting an independent set of eyes on it.
