I have made a fraud case in October and it is Dec and still they have not come back to me. I contacted them today 6 /12 /2023 only to hear money is back in my cr card BUT they took it back the very same day!!!!!!!! And then I see they took actually more once again total R1477.25. To me it is alot of money being a divorced pensioner and have no other or extra income, I have been with Nedbank since I started my working career in 1981. I this is the treatment I receive from them. They can go to hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am closing my account

I recently had a disappointing experience with Nedbank's customer service. Despite reaching out to the client service manager, I received no assistance or resolution. My account has been under investigation, and multiple department transfers have yielded no response since October 18th. The lack of communication and professionalism has left me thoroughly unsatisfied.

Nedbank has become the most useless bank I have ever dealt with. For the past 3 weeks I have spent hours on the line with their call center and have been making absolute no progress. I have been having endless issues from all departments for the past few weeks. From the MFC vehicle finance sector to the daily banking and credit card facilities. Absolutely looking to change my bank because this has become unreal. It is now consuming most of the time of my day. Furthermore, every time I ask for a manager I can never seem to get one on the line. The Manger is always busy and will call me back but never ever does!!!! When I go into the brach they inform me that they cannot do much but to rather direct my query to a call center. Therefore I am left spending hours in the branch on the phone with the call center. Both of which cannot offer valuable assistance! Awaiting my credit card for 2 and a half weeks now. Needless to say the bank services are far from efficient and cost effective!

I requested for a short term credit facility (one month) through my personal relationship banker Sbongile Mabuza & again she always delivers best services. Within 2 hours my request was approved.
She has been my personal banker for 3 years now and she is just the best 💯👏👏👏 Sbongile

Worst bank ever with poor customer service both head office and client feedback department

I have been banking with Nedbank for over 8 years and the service get worsening over the years, if the app is not working, then it takes forever to resolve it! Since monday I came to know that they had an issue when i resulted to calling the bank, no notifications in place, if its not late notifications of transactions, or unreversable unknown transactions then its something else,I could go on and on, am certainly moving banks, I gave NEDBANK ample opportunity to improve!

I had to change from FNB Private Clients to Nedbank Private Clients for a Home Loan. It has been the biggest mistake of my life. For a year, I have been requesting to see changes made to my home Loan in writing, and not merely as a SMS sent to me. This has gone around in cricles for months ... My Private Banker is absolutly idle - the idea that "Nedbank" should be called "Nobank" is supported. Their passion for their clients are as beige as their branch walls. This experience was only topped by their insurances, which lost a policy of mine, never resolved queries and frankly, should be stopped from being able to provide financial services.

Worst bank ever. I want to close my account and they are giving me a run around regarding my FICA. What's the need for FICA if someone wants to withdraw their funds and close down the account

Received very poor service from Wendy Tablebay Cape Town,not sure if it was racism at play.If you don't need people of colour rather say it then I close off my accounts and go where I'm needed.

Very bad, their credit department is wasting money by paying salaries. They constantly got back with rudimentary questions (that were self-explanatory in the materials I provided them with) and eventually said that my entity overstates its asset base and misrepresents revenue (all legal docs of assets and revenue were available from my side + I have a strong Finance background so I know that was not the case).

I would discourage anyone from dealing with Nedbank, among a few other banks in SA.

As an add-on, this was after I had to complain about bond cancellation (from the seller's side) on a different acquisition, where I saw the transfer attorney's transcripts and couldn't believe my eyes.

I have sold my Nedbank shares and will never invest in their stock ever again.

I have been with Nobank, sorry Nedbank for past 10 years.I was used to thier several poor banking ethics and thought they will change,upgrade or improve but now I was forced to leave the bank.
We are a Co-operative business with six employees and one of the directors has an authority to sign on behalf of the members.
He has been doing business for above mentioned years but the new dude came to the office with new roles.
Our USSD was not working and the authorised person went to bank to ask for an assistance with the USSD, the new dude, says we cannot help to update the required service instead you must bring all the members to sign for the USSD update.

I am still asking my self, why the give you authority and what if you have a Co-operative of 30 members, all the members must come to Nobank, sorry Nedbank to sign the USSD update.
I complained and nobody respond positive then I close the account after years mentioned above.

Two fraudulent debit orders were loaded without mandate on my account. I reported both as they were deducted. Twice Nedbank claimed they would email me. They didn't. I phoned, they said they'd phone back, they didn't. I phoned again, they said they'd phone back, they didn't.
Eventually got an agent who took some trouble to help, said he'd phone back, and didn't. I have to assume this is deliberate company policy. Beware.

Trying to open a business account for more than 6 months. They now apparently LOST all our signed original documents and our private consultant, she is ghosting us.

I am eight years banking with Nedbank ....and on a few occasions i requested for financial assistance....with no success ....with a good credit score ....no debit orders on my account .....never go in negative ballance .....after eight years Nedbank notify me that my account is becomming absolete and i must migrate...to another account .....going to the branch one peron said i must not warry the accounf number stay the same ....thats it not telling me what account they will migrate me to if any ....then finnaly when i applied for a small credit card ....they welcomed me as if i were a new customer .....
I still serious consider if i should stay or go ....hence i thought that a number of years with a bank would give them more security than a credit check to consider whether i am credit worthy......
I am above 50yrs and in process of opening my business thinking that Nedbank would be my bank .....there is very little to no chance that i would stand for sutch treatment......reconsidder if you want to trust your banker with your hardearn money .....

Every time I try to change the reference on a payment through my nedbank money app, the OTP doesn't come through and the transaction gets cancelled. This makes Nedbank an extremely unreliable bank due to the fact that I can't utilize MY funds as needed.

Joh ,all the time i send money to my account there are deduction more that 160 rands that I don’t know where they come from haiii i hate this bank

Can not even correct a branch delivery address despite everything being correct on the database. Thoroughly useless and incompetent. App, service bot and assistants who answer. Don't even waste your time on e mail, only ever get automated responses

A week after Nedbank apologised for failing to transfer funds they had received into my account they have managed to do precisely the same thing
They manage to charge for everything but deliver an absolutely appalling service
Difficult to communicate with online, over the phone or in person they are not fit for purpose
Utterly incompetent

Requested a settlement amount, which was giving and paid for on the same day. I was then told by Nedbank that I need to call again the next day to confirm that the money was showing in there account. Only to be told by them that there is an outstanding amount in the account. They went and added service costs again. They refuse to listen and fix there mistakes. I am now forced to pay more. When I mentioned this to other people, they tell me it is an old trick from Nedbank. They make it impossible to close your account with them so they can keep billing you. Bunch of thieves.

NEDBANK CONSULTANTS INVOLVED IN FRAUD

Consultants from nedbanks tried to open a credit card using my ID number without me requesting one or my approval. The consultants reached out to my personal bank (ABSA) requesting my statements. Luckily I got notified by ABSA that NEDBANK is requesting my bank statements.

This is fraud and the culprits should answer to the law. I am opening a case against the consultants and NEDBANK.
