Picked up at 6am to sit on a coach for 7 hours to get only 3 hours in Stratford upon Avon.

We were then taken to the Britannia Hotel in Coventry. I was well aware it would be a budget hotel but was shocked at the location and hotel chosen. The hotel itself also offers alternative housing which is great but not if also open to paying guests. The rooms were very grubby and generally very run down. After speaking to others on the trip we were lucky! As some had mould and mess.

The area wasn’t particularly safe so there was nothing to do from 5pm. The local Sainsburys had its windows knocked in and blood everywhere.

The evening entertainment was a convoy of marked and unmarked police cars making arrests outside the window.

The food was incredibly basic but was ok, the servers were nice.

On the Sunday we didn’t leave until 9:45 to only go up the road to Lichfield, where nothing opened until 11am. We had 3 hours there and then another 7 hours home.

Was really disappointing to spend 14 hours on a coach for so little.

The coach driver Ben was really lovely and helpful. The coach was really nice and clean.

The booking process was very simple and the call handler friendly and knowledgeable.

So easy to book holiday online when you've searched the options on several great places across Britain and Europe. Stress free travel without driving. Plenty of beautiful scenery while on the coach on comfortable seating unlike driving without a doubt.
The hotel was great in good location. We've enjoyed it over the years. We've booked already for the next trip at the end of this month. We looked forward to it. Thanks.

My call was answered quickly and the lady I spoke with was very helpful. She was efficient, very polite and knowledgeable about the holiday. As there are several friends travelling together there were several queries which she answered fully. I was very happy with the booking precedure.

Trip to highclere castle was very good excellent hotel and driver and journey excellent

The coach driver was pleasant and efficient. However, seats in the coach were very close together, with no room to move your legs or stretch to relieve the cramped position. Necessary stops were efficiently managed but with no planned activities they really were of little interest. All told there was too much "down time" to use up the two days allocated to the tour.

The very large hotel used for the overnight stop was clean but the arrangements for the evening meal were chaotic and the food was of mediocre quality.

The exclusive tour of Highclere Castle was exclusive only in the sense that the venue was closed to the general public for the day and each of the many coach parties was given three hours to find their own way around.

Highclare Castle itself was worth a visit but the two day activity could easily have been achieved in one day. Al in all, I was very disappointed and I will not embark on any future two-day tours.

Really enjoyable night away with the convience of being pick up local to where I live. It was a feeder service but both drivers were very friendly and helpful. A nice hotel in a good location.

From start to finish absolutely amazing little breakaway to Highclere Castle. 2 glorious days in sun unexpected 3 coursemeal in a 4 star hotel and a surprise few hours in Stratford. Would definitely recommend National Holidays. And we will be definitely using again.

We liked not having to drive but we were picked up at 5am in Leicester and didn’t arrive at our 1st stop till approx 1.30. - too long!
We have been on quite a few mystery tours and always end up with in York or Scarborough.
It might be good if you advertise mystery tours ie mystery tour north, mystery tour south, mystery tour east or mystery tour west.
Bus driver was very good.
Toilet was disgusting - no water to wash hands & on second day it was full of urine - full to the top and couldn’t flush it!
