Scam Company - Zero delivery and shambolic service and attitude!

After having a bad delayed experience with BA, i googled companies that could help and came across My Flight Delayed.com. I reached out with the goal of getting a cash amount back for my troubles. This was last year July/August and what followed was a painful 12 months, which is still ongoing. At the same time my colleague who i traveled with dealt with BA directly and had a refund paid within 2/3 months, however I've experience nothing but headache ever since. I was expected to provide all the details, which i have done and then to get feedback on an agreed amount to then be paid. Instead it was months on no updates, with me having to chase up a good few times, then in January i had to speak with BA directly adn provide additional information directly to them, which i'd already giving to myflightdelayed.com. I asked that i don't want to be dealing directly, otherwise i what is the actual role of myflightdelayed, if i am doing everything. A few months later around March/April i then heard from BA directly (not through myflightdelayed) and they offered me vouchers, which wasn't what i was after. I informed myflightdelay of the voucher offer and that i don't want this and that i want cash and they advise me to inform them directly again - again I'm questioning why is their role if i'm being made to do everything. I also became frustrated at the back and forth and how long this has dragged out for that i now no longer care about the whole claim, as Covid has hit and i have other flights that iv'e had to claim and now receive vouchers for. More reason as to why i do not want even more vouchers which i won't be able to use. The support from my flight delayed has been so bad and where the was a lack of engagement in the first 3 months when it was needed, i now receive a phone call and email pretty much daily, chasing me for payment. They want me to pay a % of the proposed voucher amount that i have not action-ed? Imagine not receiving cash, not having an active voucher accepted, but then a company want you to pay them physical cash and relentlessly chasing for it too. There's lot of reviews very similar online about them and I legitimately believe the business to be a scam that seeks to make they money by charging people for zero service.

Brilliant Service fast and responsive…

Brilliant Service fast and responsive had a cheque sent out within 2 weeks after chasing the airline for 5 months in which they refused to pay out. I contacted My flight delayed.com and straight away they were on the airlines case. They kept me upto date worh emails and gave me Great advice. I would Highly recommend Myflightdelayed.com Well Done and Thankyou

Excellent service!

I received excellent service from start to finish. Clear guidance was provided regarding required documents, IDs, etc. and I was kept fully updated on progress. I was very pleasantly surprised when my claim was successful and a cheque landed on my doorstep! I will not hesitate to recommend the services of My Flight Delayed to my family and friends.

After almost a year of emails

After almost a year of emails, sending documents and sighning papers im stuck with a cheque i can't cash. As i leave in Cyprus and the cheque is from UK bank the banks here ask almost the entire amount of the compensation to cash the check. I contacted the site to report my issue and asked them to transfer the money in my account directly and they denied. What a waist of time!!!

This type of service is futile.

Flight Delay have terrible customer service and there is lack of consistency in information delivered by representatives. You must follow up for information from this company constantly. They ask for the same information repetitively. I have been asked to send the same documents numerous times. Over a two-year period the case was not resolved. They then look for approx. 80-pound service fee when they told me they had closed my case and recommended I contact the company directly. This type of service is futile, and you can go through the airline yourself or use Citizen advice. I wish I had never used Flight Delay as all I have encountered is grief.

Very professional

Very professional, very quick responses to emails, answered within a day.
The outcome was good, we did receive compensation for our flight delay.
The percentage plus vat is quite high for their fee, at least we did get something.
Would definitely recommend.

8 months later I have sat at my…

8 months later I have sat at my computer and transferred 90 British pounds to this shower of crooks. They have harassed and bullied me since August last year after I made an enquiry. They have done no work on my behalf and yet they charge me for the intimidation of ringing my phone up to 5 times a day.
I am posting here in the hope that I prevent even one person getting caught on this scam.
Today I got a letter from their associates Joseph James Law. Another shower of crooks who claim that I will be in court in 14 days unless I pay. I live in Ireland and we are in Lockdown but at this stage I have enough.
THIS IS WHAT THESE PEOPLE DO
They keep at you until you just give up. I would so much rather have given that 90 pounds to charity or anyone except these people but I really have enough. Life is too short.
Shame on the people who set up this scam, you are just awful people.

Absolute scam of a company.
About 6 months ago, I googled delayed flight easyjet refund and found a form that looked much like an easyjet refund form with the name 'my flight delayed' across the top. At the time I thought this was an innocent easyjet form to fill out my claim, turns out it was this company.
I then got an email that stating they would take a cut of my claim, so naturally I realised my mistake and went to easyjet.
They continued to harrass me for months.
At no point was it made clear to me that I would need to pay a cancellation fee totalling £180!!! Yes they have T&Cs but all of this information is buried. They do not make their cancellation policy clear. Further to this, at no point in their emails to me did they enter a description along the lines of 'Cancellation Fee' No they kept that well hidden so they could build up the fee without my knowledge. I am absolutely livid and a simple request turned into a farce.

GO DIRECT to the flight company they will do it for you with no fee. Do not use this scam it's an absolute aberration taking advantage of people looking to claim on their delayed flight when it can be done direct anyway.

We are sorry to read your review. However, I can assure you we are in no way associated with any airline. We also have our own colours and branding which are yellow and black, and therefore not similar to easyJet.

Client's must begin a claim on our website, which does not mention easyJet, by entering their flight and personal details. They are then presented with our full Terms & Conditions (T&C) to read, understand and agree to before submitting their claim; a claim cannot be submitted to us without the T&C being accepted first. This is to ensure our clients are aware of our service and fees. Please be advised, all potential fees which may become payable are fully outlined in our T&C including that of the Cancellation Fee.

Upon submitting a claim, clients are emailed a copy of our Cancellation Form with the full cancellation process detailed upon it. This is also available to download at any time from our website; our T&C are also able to be viewed on our website before any details are even entered. I can assure you no information is buried within our T&C.

Avoid at all costs

Myflightdelayed has a business model that relies on customer abuse. I have partially filled out a form, didn’t complete it l, and now they are telling me I owe them 90$ and are harassing me about it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Got there in the end.

Finally received my compensation with BA. Used MyFlightDelayed and although it took a few months the staff were very professional.
Whenever I sent a moaning E-Mail to them, they still replied within a few hours every time. Can’t really fault them.

SCAM

Scam!!! Had an email saying owe them £170 and now a CCJ emailed saying owe then £249. Had no contact from them and no email regarding any work completed. Customer service is horrendous and unhelpful. DO NOT FALL for this SCAM

I had problem with a long flight delay…

I had problem with a long flight delay that caused me working issue and extra costs. They have been great, fast to react and helpful.
They cost a bit but at least without their effort probably I couldn't have back nothing.
