Everything was great. The only exception is the communication between Corporate and local businesses was not completed. We gave a new telephone number to corporate to pass along to the local spot, but the old phone number was continued to be called by local and drivers alike and it delayed our delivery and arrival of our items by one day only. The local people were readily able to accommodate us once they were aware of the issue.Other than that everything was wonderful and would recommend highly fo a move across country.

Movingplace was great we had one problem and when they heard about it they jumped right on it and took care of it.It was nice you just called one place and they took care of everything.

Excellent service and very good rates! Made moving my daughter across the country easy and worry free.

Update: the owner Stu contacted me after seeing these reviews. He is a very kind reasonable man. While I was not refunded for the moving cost or damages in full, I received a partial refund which I truly appreciate. Personally, I would not use a freight service again after this experience but it’s good to know the owner attempts to fight wrongs done by the freight company Estees, who denied my claim. I have never been SO disappointed with a company. I trusted this company to move everything in my name from NJ to CA... and they destroyed everything. Im talking... everything. This is a freight truck that load other items in along with yours... but doesn’t disclose what they load. Soo... some type of thick black oil spilled in the truck and ruined all of my rugs. Endless boxes were soaked and ripped open, my brand new tv has a huge scratch on it, furniture has dents/rips/oil stains.... the list goes on. I wish I could upload pictures of all the damage. I reached out to the representative that I set the move up with in tears so upset once I moved in about a month ago, I got no apology... no concern... just a simple “fill out this claim form”. I submitted the claim... and over a month later I got a response saying they’re not liable. I’m disgusted. Not only did I lose $1600 for the live... I lost nearly $3000 in DAMAGES. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Fantastic!! Chris was so helpful and responsive. The price was right, and the company could not have been more professional, personal, and thorough. We loved working with Movingplace.com, and would certainly do so again. Our move from South Florida to Idaho could have been an absolute nightmare, but I'm so glad it wasn't because of Movingplace.com. I know it seems like a sketchy thing and we kept thinking "Is this a scam??" Nope!! They're just affordable, helpful, no frills, great people!

Answered all questions quickly. Easy process. Reasonably priced. Well worth the reduced stress of not driving a moving truck myself. Great company to work with.

We used moving place to make a move from Michigan to Alabama and Moving Place was the best price all around for your move if you could do everything yourself except drive. They showed up on time every single time! Use them they are awesome! I would recommend using Chris, he went above and beyond to make our move stress free and smooth as butter!

as i looked at all of the options for my move, making an analysis of costs against value, i began to correspond with Rachel. She was most understanding of what i thought i wanted and worked with me while i compared many other choices. Without pushing, i came around to their offer as it is most cost effective and very accommodating to whatever requirements i had.

once contracted, Stu took charge of the process and it was all like clockwork, the unit arrived on time at my load point and arrived at the customs broker at a very convenient time for me.

when i move again, and i will, they will be my one choice.

Movingplace made it very easy to schedule moving both my household goods and car to my new place in Minnesota. It was affordable and everything has been on time with the schedule. The customer service agents are very friendly and always there to answer your questions. Would definitely use them again!
