I think the product is good

I think the product is good, but it is a bit expensive and it lacks some functionality in transferring timelines between different office applications.

This is a very useful product

This is a very useful product, wherein one can prepare different types of graphical views of the project plan, which makes it easier for the upper management/stakeholders to understand the flow of the project.

The only thing that i wish you could have is to able to have line graph showing the baseline v/s the actual or trend of the project. This will be super useful to the stakeholders to see whether the project is deviating a lot from the baseline or not.

As for having the possibility to track actual versus planned progress through the use of a baseline, we appreciate your suggestion and I’m happy to inform you that this feature is already on our product development roadmap. As we strive to continuously improve the add-in, we regularly release new functionalities and enhancements. Thus, please make sure that you always update your build to the latest version whenever notified, so you can enjoy the newest additions.

Meanwhile, the add-in allows you to show your project’s real status against the scheduled course of action through % complete indicators for your tasks, as well as “Today” and “Elapsed Time” markers on the timescale of your graphic.

The final is looking good but the way…

The final is looking good but the way to the final is quite difficult. Need improvements on dates format, sizing of bars and text, relationships and more.
Anyway, is a good and useful tool which I hope my company will buy it soon!

Hello - Just an idea on features.
Date format for Tasks - Please add an option for only displaying the month.

Meaning "Nov"

Only option includes the year "Nov 2024" The year is obvious in the timescale bar.

So repeating the year on the task is redundant takes up valuable Slide Real Estate.

It is indeed true that the tool’s current list of date formats does not include the option of displaying only the month. However, you can choose to have the timescale of your graphic expressed in months and not years by following the steps in the support article below:

Amazing tool!

This is a really great tool! As a program manager, I rely on timelines really heavily! I the abilities that timeline allows that other tools don't or don't allow as intuitively.
One suggestion is that sometimes the formats get too large for slides. It would be great if there were more options to fit the visual to the slides differently.

Great tool for executive presentation

I like that I have multiple templates to choose from. Officetimeline has been my go-to tool for executive presentations since I learned about it about 5 years ago. I only wish you could add dependencies in the online version.

As a contract project manager I use…

As a contract project manager I use OfficeTimeline online version. Being in to cloud it can follows me from client to client. Easy to use, seamlessly produces beautiful PowerPoint presentations of my projects timeline that I can present to management. Something ms project desktop should do but does not. As a pm I do t have time to mess around in word or excel, power point to produce a timeline diagram. This app is awesome.

This product makes summarizing project timelines and milestones a breeze.
