Servizio eccellente

Don't rely on your phone for payment!
The experience was pretty straight forward but a bit officious. We nearly came unstuck when we had to pay for the car. My partner had our credit card activated on her phone but the car rentals company wouldn't accept that as a form of payment. Luckily I had my money travel card which worked but it pretty much wiped out the cash I had for the holiday. This may well be SOP but we didn't know and it nearly ruined our holiday. That said, the car was new, clean and straightforward so not complaints on that score.

Dear Tim,thank you for your review. We are glad that you enjoyed the car! Regarding our payment policy, we would like to remind you that Locauto requires a physical credit or debit card with the cardholder's name and numbers embossed/printed on it, as stated in our terms and conditions on locautorent.com. Friendly and helpful staff at Palermo
Rented a VW Tiguan from the Palermo Notarbartolo branch. The staff were very friendly and helpful — they explained everything clearly and the pickup was quick and easy. Returning the car at Palermo Airport was just as smooth. Thank you for making the trip stress-free!

Friendly staff, but could do with more of them
Staff are friendly and they are not trying to trick you or find extra money. However they were understaffed at pick up and it took about 1.5 hours to collect the car.
